Yes, she did say last year she was already working on her next album. I also read that she is planning to release another album this year. I'm not sure though but it would be so awesome imo~ :heart

Well the same thing was said about Born This Way and then a year later after the expected release it came out...

We need a little faith in her, that's all. Maybe it'll come out this year (hopefully before any major jpop releases so I don't shaft the album). I hope the new album re-kindles my lost love for her. The Fame Monster was the shiz, but Born This Way was just okay. It wasn't album of the decade (especially not since I got into Ayu and other jpop. Memorial Address just trumps it, but that's neither here nor there), but it had it's moments, especially when I twist the lyrics and use them in everyday life :P

I see people are already commenting on the apparent content of the album. Heard someone mention it's going to be "insane"? She's barely started the tour and they're already talking about an album that probably won't be released in another year, just like they did with BTW.

Remember when she said she'd announce something on New Years 2011 or tattoo something to herself for New Years 2011 for the then un-revealed Born This Way?

I'm so excited for this album...I know she only released BTW a year ago, but for some reason it feels like ages ago that it came out. I think it was because I got tired of it kind of fast. I'd say I stopped listening to it like 2 months after it was released. I was hooked on The Fame and The Fame Monster for months. So I hope she her new album is addictive like her first two.

Anyway...I hope the new music takes everything that was GREAT from The Fame Monster, and everything that was GREAT from Born This Way, and sort of merge the two. That would be gold, I think. :)

^^It was an OK album for me, it had some tracks that stood out and others that I just weren't included at all.

I'm cautiously excited about the new album. To be honest, I found Born This Way to be very weak, especially compared to her first two releases. Hopefully this one will be a return to form. I'm just hope the writing on the new album isn't as thin as it was on Born This Way, and I hope the new album overall isn't as bloated/long/exhausting to to listen to as Born This Way was.
