Hope it's good but ain't expecting much - did not like the previews and I really loved DH4 so going in with the assumption that it cannot top that for me.
EDIT: Ok, glad I lowered my expectations because then they were highly exceeded! Pretty good album! Turns most of the songs I hate into something good! Hey Baby! was GREAT - wish it were longer! Bling Bling Bling was fun - very creative and attention to detail. Heat is finally listenable for me - I always just loathed that song and I never understood why everyone loved it but this version is just amazing! Only thing that sucks for me is that I was expecting WAY MORE from the Overhead Champion Remix! It's NOTHING like his style / other works... Seriously, wtf dude... Anyway, can't wait to workout to this tomorrow! |

I'm surprised with the sales, I was expecting less than 15k in a week, and 14k for a remix album is pretty good.

are there any differences between WWO pv ver, itunes ver, and beach mix ver? some say there are, but i didn't dl the previous two. :mgrin

iTunes & Beach Mix are the same and the PV ver. is different from the first two that I mentioned.

Now that I've listened to Beach Mix, I'll write a bit more about it :D I don't know if I'm going crazy, but I kinda see a concept on the tracklist. KO-SO-KO-SO begins with waves sound, and then the remix starts. This gives me the idea of a party in the beach, and the first remixes matches so well a night/daybreak party, but then around POP DIVA they start to get a bit more light, like if the sun is going to rise. And it really do, around Cutie honey and D.D.D. they sound more songs you'd listen in the morning, and then when it comes to Twinkle, you get the afternoon part of it, with remixes that reminds me of Axé and latin music [Lick me and Cherry Girl], just to start getting a little darker in TABOO, like if the party is going to start again. So, Beach Mix is a rave party in the beach hahahahahaha About the remixes themselves, Spoiler:
Overall, I'd give Beach Mix a 3.5/5 :) |

This is the best remix album of Koda with difference, I love it! and i want it original CD+DVD version, I think this summer release is more better than the A SUMMER BEST but there are different releases one is a remix and the other is a summer compilation.
