^ Go to the top sales aren't that great because the anime tie-in, they did some gimmicks with the Premium Live tickets.

Dreaming Now! sales are fine, no tie-in, no magazine (before the release), just two performances... She's doing great with that amount of promotion...

The only thing that bothers me about XXX is that "Listen to me, boy, bad girl[...]" part, she was almost lifeless singing this. If she was using a more strong tone, like "C'mon girl let's make some noise" on Boom Boom Boys, it would be pure eargasm.

I don't think the problem is with Kuu, female singers aren't that big anymore. RZ isn't putting much effort on Kuu's promotion though, but it's just my opinion and I don't think they can change how people feel about her. Even Kuu says that being on the top spot isn't a big deal anymore, why would I care? lol

Kyary's new single sold 14k first week and her new album in June just sold 250k and it has a massive tie-in. Lead single of a new era.

Kana's new single sold 22k first week after 2 best albums that sold a combined total of over 550k+ with a big drama tie-in. Lead single of a new era.

Kuu's new single sold 21k first week with a weak tie-in. No Music Station performance like Kyary and Kana, no huge tie-in. 4th single of an era.

The winner is quite clear ;)

I honestly DO NOT CARE ONE BIT who's the top selling artist. Things go through fads, but it's the ones that hold on through all the crap that says something for sure. Besides, there's always ALWAYS been plenty of artists from different parts of the world which are popular that I CAN NOT STAND, but also ones that ARE or ARE NOT popular that I LOVE, ADORE & RESPECT. Kuu is one of those ones I adore and respect and she ALWAYS will be. :heart

It needed to be autotuned!

Dreaming Now's sales are really good, and this isn't a maxi single like SUMMER TRIP.
For me Dreaming Now is probably the best song for this era (the second one is obviously IS THIS TRAP?)

happiholic★ 20th November 2013 12:14 AM

I've never cared about Kuu's sales. She had her time. At least people don't say horrible things about her as much as other artists who have passed their prime.

Party_King 20th November 2013 12:50 AM

on DH 6 i need a remixes from XXX, IS THIS TRAP?, Dreaming Now! and Touch Down <3

LAx5 ist lala... :(

Gustavopc 20th November 2013 08:50 AM

Guys, who is the producer of XXX? Someone got the booklet scans already?

Minttulatte 20th November 2013 11:31 AM

It would be awesome if Kuu had her second peak but I'm also fine if she doesn't get that. After all she already proved everyone she's awesome and talented so she doesn't need it anymore. What's the most important is that she will always be the best for me♥

XXX credits:
lyrics: Koda Kumi
music: T-SK, Keely Hawkes, HIROMI Rainbow, Gabriele Guidi, Michela Lombardi

You beat me! :laugh

Gustavopc 20th November 2013 07:17 PM

^ Thanks for that :P So no HIRO at all... Didn't he give Kuu a song back in the CtC days? Wonder if it'll show up in the album, oh Lord

KuuXAyu-fan 20th November 2013 07:20 PM

I'm dying for new info about the album tbh
I remember when we got that LQ Boom Boom Boys video and Kuu saying she already did the covers for the album. Then after that we kept getting info about Kuu shooting more and more PVs :thud
Such an exciting time! I really hope that the concept for this album is just as epic as JAPONESQUE though it will be very hard to top

SKYia 20th November 2013 09:07 PM

Now I'm mad, the Taiwan live has such an amazing ballad section costume while the DVD has such crappy wig, it's the only flaw of that concert (the dvd version at least), I also like the choice of ballads in the Taiwan live more, though the stage is less awesome without the bridge. I regret it because this concert release is this close to perfection :p

Aww, there's even a dress change in Ai no Uta :) And changed lyrics? Chinese??

Here's a 15 min clip of the Taiwan live :) Bad sound quality, but at least it's something

I was wondering if it was that Hiromi, too. I love her and her voice, but her songs get a little boring.
