I am fan both Utada and Koda. While Koda is releasing Shhh! That makes me get up and move, i can sit down and sip a cup of tea under Sakura with Utada's song. I love this warmful-melody song even it's comback song tho.

Well, this is for morning drama, so I guess we can't expect something really strong. Maybe Manatsu will scream HIKKI IS BACK for you ;). For me, Hanataba wo kimi ni is already a really hikki is back :D.

Im a little disappointed, the song is nothing special in my opinion (atleast the preview), and I usually love her ballads :(

It's pleasant. Her voice sounds much more in control than I remember.

Yeah, it's not that exciting of a song but it is a nice listen. I can't wait to hear the other song, though. Hopefully that has some more pizzazz.

So far, musical wise, the song is not something awesome or particularly beautiful I might say but I do love her voice. And yes, it's more in control than how I usually remember.

I'll wait for a full version to judge the song as a whole.

I'm not a fan of the vocal performance. You say "control", I say "texture", and I can barely notice it's Utada singing this. Seriously, go back to Sakura Nagashi. Her voice was emotive. This just sounds like a first-year voice student doing show choir.

I don't know what I'll do with my life if my favorite female j-pop artists just continue to release songs like this.

Oh well. At least it's pretty, it will make nice background music sometimes and in the mornings especially. I suppose I shouldn't expect too much in style from drama themes.

I definitely agree on the "texture" part. Right when I heard the song, i noticed something different but i couldn't find the right word for it especially on the lower notes when she sounds like she's opening her mouth wider when singing now unlike before LOL

Anyway, can't wait to hear the other song tonight. I have a feeling that the other song is going to be a ballad.
