I feel like the Red Carpet PV has a Sweet 19 Blues feel to it with the alley setting

"Black Make Up" will be the theme song for Fuji TV's Saturday premium anime "One Piece ～Adventure of Nebulandia～"!!

I am in total love with the "Red Carpet" PV, so far. :love It's simple, yet classy & done absolutely right! The setting is completely fitting to the song, too. I can totally see a Christmas/Holiday-ish vibe to it & I also must say...that I'm sooo loving the way Namie's dress looks in the video, alot more than how it looks in the single covers. :laugh So gorgeous! :heart I'm hoping the full PV will be out sometime soon!

"Black Make Up" is also one hell of a song! :blove It's so hot...and catchy! And totally fierce, especially the line "This might be a big surprise...get your ass out of my life!" :laugh you tell 'em, gurl. :cool I kinda wish it had a PV too, though. :( But I've grown to love "Red Carpet" in it's own way, so respectively, both songs on this single are just downright amazing & as usual...Namie does not disappoint. :D

Black Make Up does sound like it's from the PLAY era. It's alright.

Not that impressed by the single though. Namie really misses single-wise as of late imo.
The last 3 singles weren't as amazing as previous ones and I mainly liked the 2nd A-sides/b-sides.

Ballerina from TSUKI, Sweet Kisses from BRIGHTER DAY and Black Make Up (even though they are not stellar but they are quite nice). The rest of the single songs on these singles weren't on par.

Listening to Red Carpet again since the first time I listened almost a month ago or whenever the song first came out and I found that red carpet is actually BETTER than black make up. But it's still a subpar release that will be quickly forgotten.

So many people seem to dislike this single, but I think it's ages better then the type of music she had been releasing with her past two albums (they were very underwhelming to me). This single is exactly what I needed after the past releases disappointment. I'm really happy with this.
