Passing By in Dejavu Tour is very amazing performance through its emotion.

I hope she will sing many songs like Slow, No Way and Passing By again.

Corvina 25th April 2016 06:24 PM

I love Passing by as well.
And there was no need to bring B. Howard down.
Don't like his voice that much in particular, but he wrote such a beautiful song and his voice does fit in it with Kuu as a duet. His demo version is pretty bad though with his vocals.

KarenPang 25th April 2016 06:33 PM

Passing By is 1 of my favourite album tracks from Dejavu

And honestly for every artiste that Kuu has collaborated from then until now , she has a reason or 2 in wanting to work with them

Not all collaborations she did are great but it doesn't give you the right to put down whoever collaborates with her

I don't do that , at all

Gubsi 25th April 2016 06:38 PM

yeah the tour version of Passing By was fantastic...
BUT tbh i wish her label let her doing the Okay PV instead she wanted to do back then for Dejavu...
it's by far the better RnB song tbh

and back to her rumours, it's kinda funny...
cause everytime there was one (true or not), there was often something announced shortly after...

oaristos 25th April 2016 08:48 PM

I'm late for that but: please, don't release an album with a title in lower case :(

Gubsi 25th April 2016 09:22 PM

^ why?
her first 4 albums were released like that...
affection, grow into one, feel my mind, secret
lol

love me some lower case titles like swedish dream pop artist iamamiwhoami does

thinkingoutloud89 25th April 2016 09:34 PM

love to see anything. Shhh! is good but somehow it did not grab me (maybe later...im totally in for WOML (the song) atm)

For that exact reason! It's silly of me but I don't like things that are written entirely in lower case :dead2

kaled kalil 25th April 2016 11:57 PM

Well, UNIVERSE ~ Dejavu ~ JAPONESQUE ~ Bon Voyage ~ WALK OF MY LIFE show us that she likes patterns haha.
And the last release she did with the title in lower case was stay with me, a long time ago.

Gustavopc 26th April 2016 02:43 AM

(oh Gosh 25 pages already)

I have already asked this before but it seems that always keep on losing my stuff even when it's digital... Does anyone have that leaked extended version of LAST ANGEL [neroDoll Remix] to share pleeeeease?

I have no shame in putting down an "artist" who has zero originality in what he does. I don't really care what Koda's reasons were, or whether you approve of it or not. I like Passing By, but I do not like his parts in the song, and certainly believe it would have been a stronger track without him. I feel the same about the PV, which I absolutely loved for Koda's parts. And I don't like anything else I have ever heard or seen of him. He's just not someone with any longevity or genuine talent. He's a guy capitalizing off another artist's style and sound, both for performing and for image. I think it's tacky and classless.

Koda, however, did an amazing job on Passing By. I still like the song for her parts. I still love the PV for her parts. I just wish I could take an eraser to the B Howard parts.

If you don't believe me about him being tacky, go look him up. He has no noteworthy production or songwriting credits, no noteworthy performances, his solo efforts have flopped for six consecutive years, and he's been in the business for 14 years. If he had any longevity or originality, it would've come out in that time, but he's still just another low effort attempt compared to just about anyone Koda has collaborated with. Passing By is a nice song without him. With him, it just hurts the experience.

I don't know if the tags are all over the place, so it's good check it out if you like the tags to be just right.

That's not, what I meant ( I don't like his voice as well). Actually I like this post of you much better. You know, you can dislike him as much as you want. But talking about him like you did in your last post was just talking him down without reason. And even if you don't like him, you can still give him some decent respect like with every other human being if you talk about him. I know, there are other posters not caring about how they express something. Maybe you even meant it funny, but nevermind.
I will continue fighting for some respectful manners in this world, lol.

jiarongisme 28th April 2016 04:41 AM

Question: Is the CD rip from Shhh! of Kimi Omoi up for downloads yet? Does anyone have it?

I'm not fond of him, but I love you for sticking up for manners towards other human beings. Unlike 99% of the internet that has no respect for anything in the universe without reason.

Speaking of Koda Kumi, I haven't caught up with her gossip/music in 8 months or so. Feels like it's been years. :irked I have a lot of backtracking to do in this thread.

thinkingoutloud89 28th April 2016 09:31 AM

I think Passing by is better with him tbqh. His own version is really not that great, but Passing by would be so dragging without the male voice.

edit: I just looked him up..he has an own label and has quite decent artist who bought his songs. I would not call that unsucessfull. His own single also reached 11 on Billboard Dance charts.

Thank you for posting this. Lately I've read some awful comments on here. It's one thing to not like a singer's voice, but you can express that without being rude.

JEWELian 29th April 2016 04:16 PM

Just back from tonight's show :)
Spoiler:
They're kinda already teasing her next (60th) single - (report from tonight's show in spoiler tags)
the tour ends with a video scrolling across the list of her singles on the jukebox and she presses on 60 (or it highlights 60) and the screen goes white and then you see her in the studio recording (the mixing board had 'oxford england' written on it, guessing she went to the UK??) but it cuts out with no sound and then says 'see you next stage'.

The show was great, too many half songs (nearly all of the setlist actually), which is the main issue I had. My favourite performances were Shhh! BUT (was nice hearing the second verse for once), suki de (acoustic version was great - just her and guitar), Can We Go Back and POP DIVA. Also I was LIVING for Trust Your Love~love across the ocean - they sounded so good - but only 1 minute of each really sucked. Moon Crying was a short version was disappointing too as she had a great outfit on and did a nice dance routine to the song with aerials.

Aside from opening, Moon crying, and Can We Go Back, she didn't really have any tricks or special performances. The whole show was just about song and dance.

The whole stage is a giant jukebox with a vinyl shaped platform that revolves (however she only uses it in maybe two-three songs which was a shame). They had a crane-lift like platform which was the arm/needle of the vinyl player and that's what she started the show on. There was no opening which I didn't like, she's been just jumping into the songs the last two tours - I much prefer build ups to the first song.

Outfits were all amazing, really stylish and sexy (aside from the second ballad outfit which looked like a toilet paper cover). Not really any visuals for the tour aside from Shhh! (footage from single cover shoot of her miming the song) and the one interlude video of her in a bar looking at the jukebox and then they photoshopped her into the you and LALALALALA music videos which was funny. They also at the encore showed her rehearsing the tour and some footage that was taken that day (I could tell as it was the same outfit she rocked up to the venue in) in Naruto at the bridge where you can see the famous Naruto whirlpools from. I guess she's doing that for every prefecture which is nice. For most songs they had her on the screen, start of every song they had the name of the song and what number single it was as well.

That's about it! Off again tomorrow night and again next weekend.

Oh, also, international fans beware- they fucked me around a bit today as you need to collect your ticket from the KodaGumi booth, however it's inside the venue (at least it was today), and you can't access that area unless you have a ticket ... so yeah took a while for me to get mine! But all sorted in the end, and I was 13th row back which was nice to be so close

Thanks again, JEWELian!
Looking forward so much to her 60th single.
That's pretty much like a confirmation. :laugh

Interesting thing regarding the tour - while her FC goes forward with the dates from her first single onwards, her official facebook page goes backwards starting with Dance In The Rain.
Today for the date was real Emotion (FC) and Summer Trip (fb).
