I was looking through a thread in ayu's side of the forum and saw that someone mentioned Ken will be performing 8/28 here in NYC. I instantly went to buy my ticket. Super excited! Will be the first time I see a J-Pop act live. Ticket was only $95 (not including tax) and it's a first come first serve seating arrangement. Can't wait.

Edit: I see now that you had posted the news, Karen. I feel lucky that there were still tickets a month later, but I also wonder how the turn out will be and if there's a chance for cancellation due to poor ticket sales. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to it.

Just got back from the first show at Sony Hall and it was great. It was a full two hour show, (not including the intermission time) with a mix of old (run to you, 瞳を閉じて, エレジ) and new stuff (ソレデモシタイ,魔法って言ってかな , 知らないんでしょ). Wowow will be airing this concert in October with interviews of non Japanese people (I was one of the people they interviewed). Hopefully someone can record the broadcast since I'm curious to see what they do with it and to see the show again.

Yeah, definitely fingers crossed for that! Yeah I was a bit surprised that he sounded exactly like his cd and DVDs, he sounded amazing. I'll try to report back and update if he makes any changes with the second show tomorrow
