I'm very upset about Heart, War being the fire single... I mean, it's a pretty song and all, but it drags on and almost puts you to sleep... And just when you think it's over, it's not. It keeps going longer and longer. It seems sort of... cheap that she'd do an already released song(a single no less), and release it as a single in Japan. It bothers me.

^ I agree. While I do like the song, I don't really think we need a re-recording of it in Japanese for the a-side of a new single. It's like a waste of space. It's much more suited for a b-side :/

I'm happy, because I LOVE that song, and I'd love to see it get single treatment, and since it has such a HUGE tie in, it may throw her even further into the limelight~

will red cliff be showing in japan? cause that would be good for the sales of heart war. and i don't really get heart war is the fire single..i imagine the fire single...being very firey, heart war reminds me more of water...doesn't mean that it use fire in the pv, mean it's fire...but will they redo the pv, or just dub over her chinese with japanese?

i pity the soul that have to translate heart war, let's see, one translated line is thousand drinks i am not drunk, but drunk on moonlight..it's lyrics that's very old-chinese styled, not talking about love, easy things, but the lyrics are rather cold and dark....and alan-world haven't posted a translated version yet...but translating is hard, if you translate too literal, it takes away the beauty from the original, but if you translate the lyrics like it's another song..then that have no meaning either

Sooooo true!! That's why I'm not such a big fan of translated/ resung songs. I mean, it just snatches the beauty from the song! Why couldn't alan just put the chinese version of the song on her album as a bonus track and tag it like this:
