Didn't she say in one of the TiTO interviews that she'd changed her mind about the retiring early thing?

I'm not sure...but if she did, let's hope she doesnt change her mind again.

I can see her retiring, but I don't think it's very likely to happen. I wouldn't totally rule it out, cause it's Hikki... lol But, I really don't think she will. I think she's got another 3-4 albums in her. She's capable of way more than that for sure, but at the rate she releases... xD

I've got good hopes for at least 1 more Japanese album to exist :)
I mean.. she's already been dropping hints so she HAS to finish it now right ;)

I was on the phone with my friend who's a big fan of Utada because of me. She said to me... "Now that the tour is over, we'll get a new single soon, right?"

I laughed so hard at her. I told her the question she should be asking is not when we'll get a new single, but when Utada will consider posting her next blog. XD

I think worst case scenario is one more Japanese single, a single collection vol. 2, and a farewell concert. That's worst, worst case scenario based on the retiring at 28 thing. What I think she'll probably do is release a Japanese single this year, then a new TiTO single and promote it, then another Japanese single and album sometime next year.

What I hope for her to do is release one more TiTO single following a Japanese single, promote both. And start work on a new Japanese and English album simultaneously again next year. :heart I can dream, right?

Remember that when she said she wanted to retire early, she wasn't really happy working as a musician... If I'm not wrong, she said once that the first time she felt she was doing what the loved and she was capable of doing much more was while producing Exodus...
