I just listened to Why... for the second time and like it about ten times as much as I did on the first listen. It's actually quite beautiful and very Ayu, but also different because of the addition of Juno. Really liking it. Same goes for ANother song, now I don't really get why people are complaining about it so much lol. It's not amazing but I think it's quite relaxing...

While I understand why some of you are so negative about this album, I'd join the team of the ones who really like the album so far. To my surprise I even like ANother song...which is strange coz I don't like Naota's voice at all. Tho it is true that the ballads are so Ayuish I like them for being so.

They probably should've offered it at about 500yen less than they did.

they can't really do that or it falls in the same range as cd+dvd singles. the asking price makes sense for a mini. however, with only five songs you expect uber high quality for that price. they probably should've gone for 7 songs from the beginning.


edit: forget what I said. I thought it costs 2500 yen and not 3000. yeah, it's overpriced.

whats the different between composer and arranger? did they produce music together????

^Composer comes up with the melody, harmony, bass line and general feel of a song. Arranger does everything else such as mixing, choosing instrumentation, coming up with bridges/transitions to link all the verses up, and generally "finishing" the song. ;)

time to start a new thread

Generally the composer writes the music, the arrangers job is to interpret that music using whatever he/she wants. When Ayu composed she would simply just compose the melody using her Mac and a keyboard.
