What about "A Complete: All Singles"? That's kind of a Best Of album too. And it had all the (A-)Singles included till "GUILTY". So in the end we just got 3 albums left, including "Love songs" for a new A BEST. And that's not enough.

Anyway. They should release a 2-CD-Trance Remix Album.

^Not going to happen. This is going to be a trance album, not an "A BEST" album. Unless they make some type of weird "SURREAL~evolution~SURREAL" trance remix. Besides, they wouldn't go that far back, the farthest back they'll go is Memorial address. The last trance album ended with RAINBOW.

What does this mean? (I am now going through the tweets) for the trance album they are going to use acapella's they already have? Don't they have the vocal tracks to every song of hers?

Why Do people want Best of albums so badly?? I dont understand you? you already have all he songs, you could just take all your faves and make a best of album your self, there just full of songs that were already released that everyone has. I'm so confused over the hype of Best of albums :thud

I agree. I don't know why Best albums appeal to anyone except casual fans who might not have the songs already. :shrug

Umm...best albums and singles collections usually DO NOT have new stuff. What, 1 song, MAYBE?

and the songs are sometimes remastered (even if you can't hear it that much xD)

The only time a best album makes sense is if it's like BUCK-TICK's "This is NOT Greatest Hits." IMO, anything other than* how that best of album was made is completely pointless.

I say this and I have "A COMPLETE" sitting on my shelf lol. But that's only because I never bought any of Ayu's singles and it seemed like a sensible purchase.

Yea I really agree with that, or if like Ayu made a best of album but it was like she re-sang all the songs like the 10th anniversary versions. I would buy that so quick. Other then that I never see the point of artist releasing so many best of albums, I dont think its about people liking new stuff it seems like they just want to spend more money on there fave artist (then mention about how there killing there wallets while doing so)

Yup. It's either that or it's just a quick and easy cash cow. Best ofs come from singles, singles sell. Ergo, a best of made of singles = money. That way they don't have to "risk it" when it comes to a studio album made of material that people might not like. The odd thing here is that this goes by the assumption that only singles are good tracks, which isn't usually the case. /shrug

The only OTHER time I can see a best of album being necessary is when it's themed, or rearranged in an interesting way... that way you get the same songs, technically, but not entirely the same that they don't offer appeal for those who already have the originals. But what do I know, heh.
