the album's general music genre isn't the type I particularly like. the lead singles are good pop songs and the rest kinda fall into this weird Hip-Hop wannabe sound that puts me off. =/

I have to say I completely fell in love with this album: it's amazing. Everything is worked out in details, she changelled herself with this cd and the result is brilliant. Miley uses her voice a lot, in various ways, and I just had no idea she was this good. I'm in love. I'm going to buy Bangerz, like, this afternoon.

Well, they are very different sounding albums, so comparing them is a little odd. Selena's is a generic/safe club banger aimed at teens, whereas Miley's is a reinvention of her image. Selena did go for a bit more mature image, but Miley went with a completely different image than the one she's known for.

The show was pretty amazing. I had sucky seats but it didn't matter. surprisingly she didn't do a whole bunch of crazy antics. Yes she was sexy but yea that's her thing. Our show was kinda special. She invited this guy up who asked her to go to prom and she had to decline. She slowed danced with him while she sang adore you. It was pretty amazing! Her is a set list and kinda what she did during each song
Bangerz - Came down a giant tongue. She had these dancers in different color animal outfits. 4X4 - Love Money Party - Came in on a car. Very sexy performance and Miley money rained down! My darling - Maybe your right- FU - Sang to a Giant Dr. Seuss looking creature Do My Thang _country version...I wanted original. Only got like 20 seconds of that Get It Right - Sang on a bed. very tongue and cheek sexy :) Cant Be Tamed - Giant inflatable Floyd. Very good live Adore you - Called up Matt Peterson (if u search on twitter matt Peterson u can see pics) Drive - The best part for me. Her voice and everything AMAZING! Rooting for my baby - acoustic, very good. You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go - Bob Dylan cover. Really nice Hey Ya - Outkast even in acoustic she made the growd get up! Jolene - Better live than on the tv.. SO MUCH BETTER 23 - She sang her part and a little of the second verse. Very r&b awesome dancing On my own - Had her little rainbow creatures up there again Someone else- Sang most of it and then finished on top of a big hot dog We cant stop - what can I say. She puts a lot of energy into this on stage Wrecking ball - so good live. She puts such a great voice/attitude on this live Party in the USA - Last song. Lots of red,white, and blue confetti She was lifted up and belted this out. She made sure to leave on a high note The background screens were cute. Little creature (made by the creator of ren and stimpy) they had cartoon versions of her too. Then about halfway thru it was a collage of her that was bondage meets American horror story asylum cover. Black tape fish nets, Like black paint around her eyes and she spread it everywhere. Overall it was an amazing show!!! She did her usual thing but man did she ramp it up with her voice. I want to go again. Sadly don't think that's gonna happen o.o |

I'm one of those casual fans that does not like this extreme direction she is taking. However she is free to perform in the manner she chooses. I prefer her ballads as she has a raw emotional quality to her vocals that I love. Wrecking Ball is a great example (the song is great, the video not so much).
