The reason why they postponed blossom PV is probably because they decided to use Jejung last minute, and then didn't have time to put it on the Single.

Anyways, actually I dont think editing of PV is too hard, and it should only take a week. It is not a 2 hour feature length film, it is just a 4 - 5 minute film, and with her editors working non-stop, it should be done in a week.

With Ayu, her greatest works have always been rushed. She's always been the type to leave it last minute~

What scenes from the Telephone video were filmed there exactly? The ones with Bey on the bed? If the hotel is set up to be a movie set (which is constantly interchanging) then I honestly doubt there'd be any glaringly noticeable similarities, I'd never thought that was the same place they filmed Vacancy. =P Ayu and her team know what they're doing people, don't panic. :laugh

I'm guessing that they filmed just about everything post-prison? Beyonce on the bed, GaGa and the sandwich time, the dance sequence after everyone died...

We still don't really know for sure that they filmed there or not, but both Luis and Masashi Muto being there and posting photos of the place a few days ago (and Masashi also posting a recent photo of the exact area where the diner scenes occurred with "Lady GaGa's Telephone..." in the tweet) kind of point to Ayu using it somehow.

Is this "action" video everyone is talking about for blossom? I hope not. blossom really doesn't make me think of "matrix, mirrorcle world, action packed, fighting" etc. I mean, you wouldn't give a song like "MOON" a video like talkin' 2 myself would you? :/ I hope by "action" they mean a lot of movement, or many things happening, cause action makes me think of fighting, and tons of explosions, and all that movie like stuff, and that really wouldn't fit blossom at all.

People keep calling her the princess of pop but to me it just seems like she releases more and more rock songs as the years go by. When I think of pop, I think of madonna, cher, britney spears, koda kumi, namie amuro, perfume, etc. and I couldn't imagine any of them releasing such songs as talkin' 2 myself, game, or microphone. I feel like ayu is venturing farther away from pop as the years go on. Slowly but surely.

There's nothing wrong with ayu being more diverse than the typical pop artist. Pop in its essence is popular music. And a lot of ayus rock is pop-rock or influenced with something else. Even Startin still has rock themes.
Ayu is rock. As she already said. Just because people want to label her pop doesn't mean she has to stick to it.
I understand not all ayu fans are huge fans of rock and its sub-genres but I am.

I prefer her not to release rock songs too. But really I'll be satisfied with anything as long as it sounds good/awesome. "Microphone" wasn't what I was wanting from her at the time but it turned out to be amazing so yeah. I just trust her taste in music because she rarely disappoints me. :D

Its just an element of her career. That was more prominent starting with CREA mostly. Although crea wasn't too hot for my story since my two least fav songs on the album are hers. Just as well, I wouldn't mind a return. But I wouldn't mind her not returning to compose.

I mean, it sounds like you're asking for bubblegum pop then if you think even Sparkle is too rockish. She's never done too much of what you seem to want then in the first place. There's glitter, BLUE BIRD, Boys & Girls, independent, fairyland, NEXT LEVEL...

Idk man, be content with what she gives us, lol. At the very least she doesn't do just one genre completely with an album. I mean, even with GUILTY there was glitter and (don't) leave me alone, and with the so-called experimental NEXT LEVEL she had songs that didn't fit with the rest of the album's theme. Rock'n'Roll Circus only had like 3 rock songs, and so on.

And these are exactly the people who she should never do songs like especially Britney, Amuro and Perfume. Pop songs with heavy rock accent have been Ayu's signature thru the bigger part of her career and it's in a way what sets her apart from all those pop artists. It is one of the reasons I love her music as much. And those songs are some of my faves. I think she has more than enough "fun" songs and if you wanna listen to those, well those artists sure have enough so I don't see a problem :P

I think, Ayu has done all the 3 major genres throughout her past releases, ballad, pop and pop rock..so aren't we all get enough?

i'm sure for L, judging from the action-like PV she's doing right now, i think we'll get another "startin'" type of song, or Mirrocle World...or microphone.. sort of upbeat rock..

Ayu has never been the one to follow typical pop formula. She's not a cookie-cutter pop star who churns out dance tunes 24/7. Her brand of pop has ALWAYS been different. And you're right, what makes Ayu Ayu is the simple fact that few of those people you mentioned could release the music she does with such a perfect blend of pop and rock and such emotion. Rock has been incorporated in her music almost from the beginning.

Also, when Ayu did make music with a similar atmosphere of those artists you mentioned - i.e. NEXT LEVEL, she was bashed for it. She had dance music, generic pop ballads, sassy pop-rock and apparently it wasn't good enough at the time :shrug It wasn't "polished" as some would say. So she went "back to her roots" as she says and we got Rock'n'Roll Circus. We get rock ballads like MOON and summer pop rock like blossom. POP+ROCK = Ayu. And I don't mean to sound rude when I say this, I honestly don't; but if you're so fed up with it, I don't know why you continue to listen to her music anyway because it's never going to change... :no

And if it does, I'm sure it'll be a problem for fans because some (not you babe ^^) are not satisfied with anything and they should go back to the cookie-cutters like Britney Spears for generic pop music with no music range what-so-ever.

Sparkle is not rock'ish, it's just very experimental and alternative (and trance'y) and there was a lot of her songs that people think they was "rocky". Even evolution. They're just very massive, very dynamite and have a lot of sounds that's are very hard to fit any genre. Ayu was always like that, but some songs are mainly rock. It was "About you" and "Humming 7/4". The rest have guitars but it's still not main genred as rock. It's genre that Ayu have and should not be classifield. Cause it's difficult. It's just "Ayu genre" :D

Rock music has lots of levels it's kinda useless to try to categorise everything. I would categorize Ayu's sound as "good music" that fits the best to me :P
