I'm with you, ero. I didn't know what it was either, and even Wiki's description is a little hard to understand, so maybe a member here could explain it better? What I got was that it's J-Pop before J-Pop was J-Pop, before the 90s. I don't think asking is hurting anyone.

Kuu is doing an 8 day show (an elegant show with strict formal attire) in partnership with Billboard, 4 days in Osaka, 4 in Tokyo.

In October she's releasing a 1 disc cover album of the older hits in japan, only they will have electronic and updated arrangements.

1/3 of the suki de pvs have leaked, but there's 45 second previews of the other two on youtube.

Universe dvd is being released in Oct too!

"Cutie Honey" is originally from the 70s, and is one of Kuu's biggest hits, so it probably *will* be on there. :P

I don't know if any of you guys are familiar with late 90s American pop, but before P!nk did rock-pop she actually did R&B-hiphopish music for her first album. Random, but thinking about what songs from the 70s-90s Kuu could do I thought of this song, although I don't particularly like it or anything, I think she would sing it very well, Kumi-fied:

I like Selfish but it isn't like is this LOVE? - I think it wouldn't work with Kumi singing it. One reason I love is this LOVE? is because it's one of the few rock songs with Ayu's higher-pitched voice (which I always took for granted. I loved her deep voice in lives like AT05 but then when her deep voice was all she used I missed the old one). Kumi's version would definitely be more husky.

A lot of us prefer to order from CDJapan since it doesn't jack up prices to offer "free shipping" like YesAsia does nor do they dictate EMS only shipping like HMV JP.

The restriction is probably upheld only at CDJ since they're located in Japan and are a smaller company than HMV and don't want to p*ss off Avex.

It's a shame, really, I don't want to order from YesAsia since their free shipping takes too long and I don't really feel like paying for EMS shipping at HMV when there's no guarantee you'll get a first press copy. Obviously, the application card isn't useful to me but I do want a FP if it has an exclusive cover. :(

Strange... still, I ordered it from HMV yesterday - I was getting tired of waiting for CDJapan to put it up.

Works out about the same price anyway, even with EMS shipping. Just hope it slips through evil UK customs.

I seen that happen for concert DVDs too . Not as often as albums but it's still quite a lot of savings you get . I don't see CDJapan being as generous as HMV Japan like most of the time

of course there's a downside of things in that HMV Japan only takes credit card for payment & there's only EMS as its choice of shipping mode

but whatever amount you save from the discounts you get from CD + DVD's of singles & albums , it goes towards shipping , or so what I always think/feel haha
