You know, I'm liking crossroad a lot, but my one complaint is that I feel like it gets repetitive in the end. It's just chorus chorus chorus, but I think it'd be a bit better if it was broken up more.

i think crossroad is one of those ballads that comes around only once in a while. one that is just so perfect in every single way. it's on the same level as some of her other perfect ballads like HEAVEN, JEWEL, and TO BE to me.

Wow, crossroad sounds far more beautiful than I thought it would. The verses and arrangement are gorgeous. Chorus is a bit repitive but very catchy.

crossroad is much better than I thought. The verse is really good... and I dunno why but the chorus part triggers me to think of something like "wishing upon the star in the pale blue sky".. The feeling is quite magical.

I have to say I had a lot in crossroad, but I love the short mv. I'm amazed they salvaged the song because after hearing the chakuuta and preview, it wasn't looking so fantastic. The mv was pretty cool besides the fact ayu's staring at lit matches literally the whole time, an older version of ayu from the "M" and "never ever" days was singing on the television in the background, nostalgic. :)

Haha yes!! The only thing I recall now every time is how wonderful she sounds.. Of course the verses are the most beautiful part of the song for me. I also LOVE the buildup of the song. I wished it didn't end so abruptly...and that guitar bridge is reallly 90s lol.

Her performance at MSta is the only one I listen to over and over as audio rip. Maybe it's because that I don't want to ruin full audio version listening to it in not that high quality, but they were really pretty solid vocals here. I'm soooo proud of her. I've never enjoyed her live voice that much until now!

I think one way to convert moms, will be a cd of you doing karaoke covers of her songs. I did that for my mom, and even though she doesn't like Ayu, she said that she liked it when I sang a lot better (which is obviously not because my voice is any good, but because it was me who sang)

lol about the mom thing, usually when i show her anything ayu she says "she has a really good voice".. i never really expect that sort of reply from anyone. she commented that about "Days" "GREEN" and "BALLAD". i guess it's understandable since her voice isn't as high pitched in those songs though.

I talk to everyone about Ayu, so now all my family and school know about her. My school friends like is this LOVE?, STEP you,Sparkle and Rule, and my family members think she's beautiful. Once i watched AT 2008 with them, and all of them were deeply impressed. my uncle cried during the encore...

Interesting, you guys are talking about families, because exactly today i showed my mum the performance of crossroad on the Music Station, and she didn't say much apart from that she sounds like all other singers but she loved the dress Ayu was wearing. My mum isn't too much into other cultures apart from russians and lithuanians, she's so old-minded..

Anyway talking about the song itself, the more I listen to it the more I like it. I told that it's ggonna grow on me. And it does. I totally love Ayu's voice. However, I still feel some sort of lack in the melody, probably because it's quite a poerful song melodic-aly and I just feel like i need to hear more electric guitars in chorus to prove it...probably gotta blame my obsession with rock music and rock ballads..:laugh

(and both was a ballads, you were in my opinion is typical winter ballad) And when you are looking at the S/S covers you think: Summer single - at it is. But when I look on crossroad covers i think - ENERGETIC GLAMOUR POP. And then we have mid ballad. Lol.

Crossroad is now already on my top favorite ballads. The verse is so amazing her music station preformance was my first time hearing it (cuz i wanted to wait to have my hansd on the single, but i cheated T_T) lol
