I had a weird dream about the covers this morning (lol)

On the USB cover Ayu was dressed in a sleeveless gown similar to the dresses from BeasUp December 2006 but the dress was green and she was standing in front of a fireplace. She had a similar haircut to that shoot as well but it was longer than LOVEppears or Secret's covers.

For the CD+DVD she was doing a pose mirroring NL's CD+DVD and the CD Only had her looking over her shoulder and showed the dress was backless :innocent

Then I woke up and saw she has long blonde hair xDD

Love Songs could mean: Songs she made with love...or lovely songs whatever I'm bored kthxbai

I would rather have 12 original, new photos instead of a 30 that are merely "an extension" of the lyric booklet though, even better if it was something like the (m)u photobooks. Lets see how this one turns out.

i agree with u, GUILTY and RNRC photobooks r only extensions of the lyric booklet, thats why i dont care about the number of pages, id rather have a 12 page photobook with the originality of the m(u) ones than having a 32 page one with pics differing only in the angles comparing to the lyric booklet.

Personally I think any photobook is better than none at all.... Lol

I think the contrary : extended photoshoot are way better to me, for example the MY STORY book, GUILTY book and RnRC book were the best photobooks of albums (except my particular affection for Off My Day photobook ♥).
I'm at least sure that the shots in the photobook are as good as the ones in the album booklet. Well if the booklet shots are crappy, the photobook is crappy², it's a risk XD

I know everybody hated S/S so much, but not me. I mean, I didn't LOVE them, but they weren't THAT horrible. It was just the whole fake background that had me scratching my head. I mean, she was in Bali for crying out loud, why couldn't they take her to the water and do some nice shots there...it looks like she was in front of a green screen. >.>

^and then to me I think she looked like she was apart of the Maki goto gremlin family...but that's another story...

honestly, sometimes, I want to like tell her something a little negative like that, or ask a question about it...and see if she says anything...probably not though.

And then, okay, she was in that eternity pool right....but we have that other shot of her in it...and there are no ugly plants anywhere...makes no sense.

I remember the moment I saw the covers for the first time quite vividly. My first thought was "Oh she must've shot it in front of a cardboard background", then I realized "Oh wait.. but she shot this in Bali, we saw the pics!" and then my mind was blown by the sheer amount of complete and utter FAIL.

I just remember that I almost wanna kill kazu off when I saw s/s covers. How on earth could he took those ugly pictures? (IF I have a wand, I will definitely use those three unforgiven curses on him...)

I don't see the difference between shooting in Japan or America. The appears PV is gorgeous and was filmed in NYC.

I think a lot of her overseas PVs tend to be disliked because they're on location. If you think about it, her PVs shot in LA or New York are rarely ever done in a studio, which people seem to prefer from Ayu. Though if the PVs ended up like Dearest (California, don't remember where) or RAINBOW (Japan) I don't think people would mind.

^well crossroad was a studio shot PV, it wasn't OMG awesome, but it was nice. I just don't see a huge difference in where they are shot. :shrug Guess its just me. As long as the PV is good, that is all that matters for me.

to me it doesn't really matter the director, where it's shot, whatever.. even her worst directors have had amazing PV's, and even some of her best directors have had bad PV's.. so.. yeah, I just hope they're good and I'm looking forward to them :yes

all you have to do is turn the lighting down in ayu's photoshoots and you can see that they're not over-photoshopped.
-about the pvs: as long as they're not one-scene stereotypical-ayu-in-LA pvs, then i'll be happy.

Celebrity photos are less photoshoped than most people make it seens... You can get tons of different effects only with good make-up, light and angles.... Even some of the "eeew!1! too much photoshop!1!" ayu pics...

But since the begining of the last decade everything is either photoshop or playback to general public :P

Just use a pause on any HD video (face close-up), she really does look flawless, it really not always photoshop, besides, when I've been to Japan, I strolled through Shibuya and had a closer look at girls there and their skin, they use lots of highlighters so their skin has a lovely shine and it's stunnigly beautiful. I even bought one myself, from Rimmel (I read in ViVi that she used it for the commercial photo shoot) and it's awesome. Add to that a healthy lifestyle, good diet and you won't be wondering why Japanese girls are that pretty in real life.

i don't even care if she looks like total plastic as long as it looks nice or has a nice theme! photoshop away and slather on the makeup, its fine with me!

actually, i don't even want to see her looking "real" on the covers of her albums. give me the "image" of ayumi hamasaki any day. if i want to see her looking real, i'll look at her TA pictures, which are also wonderful.

I think you have posted these before to try to prove she has bad skin, it was just one performance over 7 years ago. she hardly ever has skin that looks like that in HD. some more recent stuff..

Yepp, that's why I had these screenshots on hand, because like I said, right now I am just too lazy to browse through my HD collection just for some breakout pics xD

^ not referring to you but in general, we shouldn't forget that stress and pressure can also cause breakouts like these.
So when ayu is promoting a single and is still touring through the nation at the same time and will be recording for a album soon she's more likely to have those breakouts because of the stress and pressure she probably has. (I know she doesn't have the breakouts in the recent performances, I was taking that as a example :D)
In the end as some of you said it makes her more human :D

yeah.. I imagine it would take you quite a while to find more caps like that. I have most of her HD videos collected too and that performance you took caps from was the only one that stood out to me because of her skin. I didn't notice it ever looking like that in any of the others.

It changes if you use some.. tricks :innocent you know.
But overall Ayu has a good skin, compared to most of female celebrities in their 30s. Who are looking much more older than they are lol.

well, she used to drink that collagen stuff (yuck!), but i don't know if she still does, or if it really even helps.

Maybe she's using nothing special nowadays. I mean, warm water and a soft facial-sponge are the best way to have healthy skin in my opinion. If you suffer from real bad acne, it's something different, though.

She has said many times that she uses moisturizers on her skin, that is why her skin is so nice. :)

That won't do anything to protect against sun damage though, which is the leading cause of wrinkles, lines, and crows feet.
