I have a feeling Avex knows most of the Ayumi forums with downloads on. I don't think we go by unnoticed~ If we grew by a lot I think it'd be an issue, but right now I don't think they care.

well if they released then in europe, I would by EVERYTHING! I got most of ayu's albums and two singles, and they are just TOO expensive... not only cause in Japan everything is expensive, but this price gets 3 times higher due to transport which isn't cheap either!

And I just can't wait till my copy arrives!!! I JUST CAN'T :(

If Avex would realease Ayu albums in Europe, they would be way expensives than japanese ones.
And I don't think they will sell well as jrock albums. Jrock sell much more than Jpop in Europe, nowadays :|

I don't think so...I've never seen them in the U.K at all. Maybe in some little specialised shop? :laugh I've never heard of them at all though of being sold here, sorry. If I had, I would definitely not be paying the shipping charges for stuff lol

Yeah, which is why I get most of my stuff used...which is also a gamble because it's online ordering and you never REALLY know what you're getting until it arrives, or unless you're buying from a seller you've had a good experience with before. Also, doesn't contribute more money to the artist/label.

I just wish there were a bigger "world music" market here (in the US). I used to live in Orlando, and they had one of those HUGE Virgin Mega stores before it went out of business a year or two ago...I mean, it was enormous. And they had a "world" section. But it was mainly Latin music and reggae (which is great, but not much of a "world" variety). Then, they had some traditional world music compilations--also cool, but where's the modern pop/rock music?

I'd find, like, a Puffy CD, a Shonen Knife b-side collection, and a couple of random, old JPop/Rock compilations. And then just traditional Japanese music. Chinese music was 100% traditional (unless you count Twelve Girls Band because they've been "mainstreamed"), and there was NOTHING Korean.

Once in a while, I'd find an Asian Kung Fu Generation, L'Arc~en~ciel, TM Revolution, or Thee Michelle Gun Elephant CD in the store's main pop/rock section, because those bands have (or had) American distributors. No Ayu whatsoever. No Gackt, back when he was such a huge name. Nothing else, no matter how famous the artist/group might be throughout all of Asia.

I know there's not much of a market for Asian music in the US (even though the fanbase has grown so damn much in the past 10 years, compared to before), but I always thought it was ridiculous that an absurdly large, international chain like Virgin Mega has such a weak international music selection...

I was sad too, but it was mainly a nostalgia thing. Like, it had always been there, and was a significant part of my early teenage years (even if I often left the store disappointed and complaining...lol), so I was sad to see it go. An odd feeling...

Same with that horrible bootleg-touting Oriental Trade store downtown, which recently went under.

No. And if there are, let me know 'cause I'm in London too for New Year.

You can try Mitsukoshi warehouse, it's right down Regent Street from Picadilly Circus. Regent Street goes 2 ways from there, so when you're on Picadilly Circus and you look down Regent Street, the road should be straight. Don't take the Regent St that bends away from you. Take the straight part and it'll be right down the road. Sorry I don't know how else to explain this :laugh

Mitsukoshi is great, they've got tons of magazines (downstairs) and a small CD stand. I didn't find Ayu's CD's, but when I was there they did have BoA's BEST & USA (deluxe one with the longsleeve) and Namie Amuro's PAST < FUTURE. So when Ayu release the new Love Songs, they might stock it.

Definitely go check it out, it's a fun place!

It leaked it full *i think* the Sunday before release, but before that a few songs here and there had been leaked from the CD by ayuchina.

So I'm using that as when to expect a leak. This weekend! Anytime before that and we're lucky.

And for the first time, I haven't heard any of the new songs off the album besides for the previews on ayu's official website. So excited because everything is going to be new for me. I refuse to watch those short version PVs which just ruin the experience.

So since someone threw money at her in the do it again PV, I feel like my earlier speculation about the song is correct.

Maybe not so strongly in the lyrics, but definitely the interpretation of the PV. Kinda sad.

Normally I don't mind it so much, but I need sleep more than anything this time of semester. Also, I already look like this ------->:tired, so by 4am, between reloading ∞ more times hoping for a leak and working for hours on assignments, I'm going to be sooo agitated. Every year I come down there for MANifest I spend more money in that shop than at the con lol (just not this year cuz I got money stolen :no)

In 2011, I'll be getting some more CDs and maybe some rare dramas if I can't find them online. Their Eng-subbed copy of the 2008 anime of Konnichiwa ANNE will be MINE because subs are nowhere lol

Just sit back and relax folks, the leak will for sure happen by this weekend. I personally am still thinking Saturday or Sunday but Friday is also a strong possibility.

I haven't been holding out or trying to not 'spoil' myself for this album so far but I don't think I'll even listen to the leak... like not, when I can wait a few more days and experience the new material for the first time in like super ultra high quality.

I might not even open the package until Xmas since it'll be my only gift (to myself). :laugh

I love how she always is very concentrated while singing and then starts smiling after she finished and everyone is clapping their hands.

Just saw the other CM for Love songs. I am so excited for "do it again" PV now, it looks so interesting!

This year's best artist was definitely a step up from last year. Wasn't last year that evolution disaster? :tired

I Really want to see the "love song" performance (Best Artist), so I'm downloading it. The only problem is that my download speed (ironically right now) lays around the 4.5 kbps instead of the usual 2.500 kb. :( -me not happy.

It's SOOO funny... Some of you people know that Im not a huge fan of 'Love Song'. For me, although the lyrics are quite good, the melody and arrangements are pretty boring.. However, you gotta admire Ayu's AMAAAAZING vocal abilities in this song. For me personally, Ayu's voice manages to turn a mediocre song into a GREAT song~.. I hope her voice will be like this more often!

It just goes to show how hard she has been working in improving her voice. I am so proud of her. Seriously, she sounded AMAZING! I hope she can sound this good at CDL!

I remember how pissed I was because my R'n'RC order took SO LONG to ship because of the extra shipping charges from CDJ who swore they sent me an email to confirm it but I never received it.

Hoping I get my order very promptly this time!

Ew gross. When I lived in Chicago, I would always get my CDJapan orders on the Monday of the release week. I live in LA now, so we'll see when it will get here. This might not be the best time to judge it though because of the holidays...

It's my first time ordering with FedEx too! It was always EMS. Do you need to sign for FedEx? I would always ******** hate missing it and then having to go to the post office to pick it up.

I caught the post office person just writing one of those slips one time "sorry we missed you" and they didn't even bother trying ringing the doorbell. She was like oh i was filling this out just in case i was about to go ring the doorbell... :rolleyes

I got my AT08 preorder on the 28th February and my RnRC preorder on the 14th May, both exactly one month after the release date D: But I used cheap shipping so that's why haha I don't really expect my Love Songs copy til late January or early February...why does shipping to Germany take so long? haha(oh and I got MOON/blossom the day after the release, weird...)

I expect mine on January 6th or even later, so I'll just download the contend but I cannot wait to hold it physically, I will have to expose my Ayu collection more, now it's covered with AT10 cookie + tea caddy and some totoro plushie xD

The Dream ON remix is pretty catchy, although why it has to be on the CD only.... :no, that kind of stuff ***** me because they're just trying to drain money at this point. Shouldn't the CD+DVD, the more expensive version, have the complete tracklist compared to the cheaper CD Only? Pfffffffft, whatever.

I'm eagerly refreshing my CDJ order in case it's suddenly in stock, how depressing lol

CDJapan always ships my order on time, it's just that customs always decided to keep it for over a week >_< , really hoping they won't this time... but i doubt it.(they do this with pretty much everything i order from CDJ)
I just don't wanna wait anymore, i want Love Songs NOW !!! XD

I feel guilty. I actually didn't like her voice during the live. *hides* If I came across the show and did not know who she was, I would not have been impressed.
