Not a fan of FAKE and tbh I think this album is just an excuse for her to go on another year long tour. I guess new PVs are cool but I'd rather have an original album.

Yeah I agree. I hope they don't run her down where she gets sick. I think that happened during the Best Fiction tour? She seemed so beat towards the end of the performances on the DVD, but then again she also dances around and actually SINGS, so /shrug.

I think it's she who wants to be on tour all the time..probably not avex's decision as no other artists under their label have tours as long as her recent ones have been.

That being the case, then I stand corrected and hope when she does tour, that she has a lot of fun with it :3

other than $ issues , licensing & royalty fees will play a part in this . As such , it wouldn't surprise me if OS presses of Namie's 1st collaboration album wouldn't be made by avex HK/Taiwan :x

Kumi's OUT WORKS never got an OS press because of various collaborations that Kumi did which's found in the album

but anyway , for my case , I'm also not very keen on this idea either . I want new solo stuff from Namie ;__;

The title is ridiculous. Even if it's a joke, it's stupid. You guys wanted something, right? Did any of you really complain about BF? It came with 2 brand new songs, and that seemed good enough. She's NEVER done a collab. album, and she's bringing in 4 brand new songs, more than a single would, but you're still complaining? New stuff is new stuff. Namie doesn't need to vomit out albums for everyone to be happy. Just be grateful she's releasing anything right now. If we're lucky, she'll make a full album later this year, or early next year. Live with it.

I don't really love any of her Collaborations so it'll probably be the new 4 songs that determine whether I buy this or not.

Yeah, I honestly find the complaining and title really strange and screams a sense of entitlement. She just came out with an album barely a year ago. By any standard other than the J-Pop world, releasing a new album already would be considered way too fast. She hasn't had a collaboration album before and we are getting 4 new songs which could almost be a mini album on its own; also it looks like we are getting 4 new PVs as well, so what's the problem?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a lot people in the forum are excited that she is releasing some material but are not exactly fans of her collaborations, myself included. Tis' all and nothing more.

Now in regard to the folks that are not enthralled with this release and wish for an album instead, kudos to them. If folks want to complain until they're blue in the face to let out their frustrations then let them. Because at the end of the day, they are entitled to do so. That's life I guess.

Was just about to say this haha. Namie fans should know that Namie always takes 2 years to release a full-lenght album, so four new songs and a bunch of great collabs (sans FAKE) on an album are awesome to me! I just hope for a great cover and some great arists to collaborate with! :D

not really. I hate it when people have a song that sounds exactly like the original and they just have a random guest artist rap for one verse and chorus of the song and call it a remix. Kind of funny cause it reminds me of Boa's "Eat You Up Feat. Flo-rida" which is the opposite. It doesn't say it's a remix, but it sounds entirely different from the original version, while generally, artists feature an artist in their song and call it a "remix" but it sounds exactly the same.

I don't consider a collab song a "remix" unless it actually sounds different from the original solo version and not just slapped on vocals on one part of the song.
