I think there's only 3 possibilities for the medley.

Old song + new song(probably progress or BRILLANTE as they are the 2 songs on the EP that would suffer musically from cutting them too short, progress is much more likely)

beloved(short version) + progress(possibly only the piano part?) + old song/BRILLANTE, but this would be around 10 mins even with cutting the songs because you CAN'T shorten progress without destroying it and the shortest you can make BRILLANTE is somewhere close to the 4 minute mark, or maybe 3 mins if you shorten the chanting parts
This would work very well musically though, the 3 songs basically lead into each other if in this order haha

or something involving the collabs and maybe beloved or Dream ON. They are very formular in their structure and lyrics and can easily be cut short. Even verse-chorus-chorus works for all of them. But I doubt this as she will perform at least one collab later and promoted them at a-nation already. Too hard to shedule performing together that often and she usually tries to show more than one song.

she won't sing only old songs in the week of the release so I don't think we should worry about that. So she will probably do the first option, with lots of luck the second if she gets a long timeslot.

I was at the TV Asahi building a couple of days ago and they had a large Music Station billboard stand up with this weeks guest list and 1,000回　written all over it. But then I saw there is no mention of it on their website, so now I'm not so sure.

It's not a poll, it is a segment they do each week where they show an Oricon top 10 list from the past to elementary school students to get their opinions on songs that were popular the year they were born. This weeks was the top ten from September '99.

And yeah, definitely not the 1000th episode. They must just be keeping up that old billboard at the tv asahi building and only changing out the guests on it each week.:headache

^ She said that lately she has been doing kaatsu training. It's a type of training where you restrict the blood flow to certain parts of your body using those bands while you are excersizing. It's popular in Japan.

Wasn't really a fan of the performance. Loved the outfit, but was actually bored during the performance. For the amount of time she was given to perform, she could have done Progress without having to cut it I think.

She sounded much better during ANother song than during Why...

Nice performance. She looked happy and relaxed. I enjoyed ANother song more, but Why... wasn't bad either!

Are artists allow to pretape performances? I don't see why she just can't perform every song and they air a different performance every week or something through September. Or does every performance have to be live?

cant wait to see the performances!!! its just a mini album..she can only sing THOSE few songs..and BRILLANTE is definitely one of those experimental tracks that would be left for the concert..so its down to 4. since she has duets, naturally she would promote them...

It was pretty good. Both were decent. ayu had some strain moments and at the beginning of Why... she had something with the left ear (like she sometimes does) but most of the time everything was fine! Her vocals in Why...'s bridge were great.

I think her last notes in the Why... chorus were...kinda flat but other than that the rest was really nice :)

I love the transition of both songs and how one was White and the other was Black :P
JUNO and Ayu's voice matched really well.

first of all their outfits were very good, and the make up ayu had was beautiful,
but that hairstyle is like 'I just woke up and I dont wanna do my hair cause Im too lazy'
and its granny hairstyle, Ayu looks mature even without that hair so why pursue that old look lol
it looked like she's a teacher and juno and urata were just students and she's with them
to be moral support LOL

about the songs, I LOVE ANOTHER SONG SO MUCH AND IM SO HAPPY TO WATCH IT LIVE, that dance at the ending was amazing and urata sounds simply awsome
handsome JUNO sounds very good as well, but poor ayu sounds not that perfect next to them...

Amazing performances and she looked drop dead gorgeous! Her vocals were near perfect in ANother song. and lol it shows how tiny she is compared to JUNO. He looks like a giant lol. the ending was so adorable. I just love how ayu has loosened up lately with her personality, image, & music.

REALLY surprised by Ayu's voice! UN used to completely overpower her just months ago, now she's the stronger vocalist!

I just try to be honest, it's nothing I watch again.
ANother song was better. Maybe I expected too much, cause so much people were saying her voice sounds like "new" in PoM Tour.
It's decent. It will be really interesting how she sounds singing a song alone, then we will be able to tell more about her current voice.

I always try to NOT have any expectations as people tend to exaggerate when it comes to how she sounds (regardless if she was amazing or sucked).

Sad that we have to have no expectations though to be impressed by something.

I'd like to be able to say "I have high expectations of Ayu, and x or y is good" instead of "I had no expectations, so x or y is good/better than I expected". :(

I guess it all comes down to taste though.

But Ayu never lives up to people's incredibly high [and unreachable in most cases] expectations so sometimes people come out disappointed 99.9% of the time. It bugs to see people constantly say that Ayu isn't "up to par" with herself from whenever, but I think more often than not, it's that people are stuck in the past instead of looking towards the future.

To me I'm glad she is not screaming and insisting any more (cdl 2010-2011 :shakehead). Her voice is kinda gentle.
Yet she still seems to have a lot of trouble singing properly. I don't know anything about music but her voice is not "fluctuating" really much. Like she is not really hitting the notes. She is not off-pitch like she used to, but everything sounds flat. I don't know...

She sounds bad compared to Urata and Juno.

Sometimes I wonder if she can still sing.

Hmm, I don't recall her screaming that much in CDL10-11 though, lol. And I think that kind of 'flat' singing comes from the way that the songs are to begin with. If you try singing Ayu's parts, I think you'll see what I mean.
