I just ordered BoA's IDENTITY 2010 Tour DVD. I haven't followed her much since that album flopped, so I'm excited to get reacquainted with her. :heart

^VALENTI will always be my favorite album, closely followed by IDENTITY (Never understood the hate for this album tbh) and LOVE & HONESTY. :)

My favorite album is definetely THE FACE followed by VALENTI.

In THE FACE BoA really applied the concept of the album in her songs, so we could see many faces of her through different songs. I love her voice in Beautiful Flowers and LOSE YOUR MIND got to be one of her best songs ever in her three discographies (despite the bad english)

VALENTI is a classic. period.

I hate IDENTITY. and just all new releases. I think OUTGROW & her korean Girls on Top are the best ever :)

I really like that album..... Ive got to say my fav album is...Girls on top. O_O haha BUt ive never heard IDENTITY. Guess I have to find that one too!

I don't know if I could pick a favorite album... I have most of them on my iPod but it's not like Ayu or Kumi or Hikki where when I think of a certain album in my head I can recall all the songs. BoA's I don't really remember.

VALENTI is amazing! Some of her most amazing songs are there! I even like her first japanese album :P

Hurricane Venus is her best album imo. Not sure about which Japanese album of her I like the most, they're all mediocre I think.

I just could never get into her korean albums. There are a couple of songs I like, but the only album which I have is Hurricane Venus, the others are terrible imo.

Hurricane Venus is my favourite too. It's really good.

Completely agree with you. The only korean album with decent album tracks is HURRICANE VENUS in my opinion...

The rest just have one or two good songs besides the promo tracks.

For her Korean songs, I only listen to HURRICAN VENUS, Copy&Paste, My Name, MOTO, Girls On Top, Spark..some ballads are really beautiful too..but a tad slow

Her best ballad is Implode from Hurricane Venus album. She has many GREAT ballads but that song is just so damn touching lol.

I've rarely listened to any of her korean stuff either.

I think I like Sara and Don't give a damn, that's about it.

I haven't listened to the Hurricane Venus album, but I do like My Name quite a bit. Girls On Top is pretty nice too.

I feel the same way. Her Japanese stuff is so basic compared to her non-Japanese music. Why can't she bring fierce BoA to Japan?! :( I did like THE FACE though and I didn't hate her last original album.

I know a lot of people probably wouldn't like this but I personally would love it if she released Hurricane Venus (the entire album) in Japanese. I just think that album is perfect.

yes i guess BoA is a living example of how K-pop is different from J-pop. Her K-pop and J-pop material have strayed so far from style unlike those No.1, Listen To My Heart days...Pop in that region has strayed apart from each other. Personally, I still love both styles very much. Sometimes it depends on mood too

Also, why the complaints about the picture? It looks like her. I just think she looks a lot more grown up and mature, like her real age.

She looks pretty much herself in the picture, a bit thinnier than she used to be, but she just grow older so I guess it's pretty much normal :)

Currently they are one of the TOP boybands around..and last year, they had a very very amazing song so..their fanbase is really big and there's lots of hype about their comeback..

In all honestly, I don't know if the current generation still go crazy over BoA. I was watching I AM..and clearly I was the one in a handful of people hyping for BoA in the entire cinema...

Honestly, personally I find many of the boybands and girlgroups all sound the same to me. This is part of why despite everything, there's actually very few KPOP artists I like, and most aren't the most recently modern ones. I love BoA, but then I also like Ivy, Chae Yeon followed by the few modern ones Jay Park, 2NE1 & BIGBANG.
Still as far as BoA goes, I still believe she makes great music and has talent. I truly love her, and I believe that's what matters most to me. :)

I think it clearly shows how BoA's period over the years in Japan has influenced her song writing :D..i mean..this song is clearly different from all that electro music u hear in K-Pop and vastly different from her Hurricane Venus material..and i think it's really good :yes
