Anyone excited for the Japanese Mr. Simple? I preordered it on Amazon since it apparently comes in an LP sized case and has an LP sized poster of a random member (hoping for Kyuhyun), so basically they're just copying the original Korean release, which is fine by me since I never bought it.
But I'm really surprised this thread's been untouched for so long. I've only been into them for a couple of months, but I'm really loving all the well-known, popular songs. The album tracks and stuff are OK, but I haven't found any I love like the main songs enough. |

Yeah they're a pretty active group, but they're separate most of the time so I guess we're too lazy to update the thread XD I was a big stan about a year ago but their fans are such a HUGE turn-off. A lot of them complain about every little thing, call SNSD untalented ****s who don't deserve winning anything when competing against their Oppas, not to mention how delusional they are sometimes. Tumblr and Twitter ELFs are especially nasty so I never follow them unless I personally know them. Sorry for the rant but they just annoy me so much sometimes XD Oh did you try the flawless Don't Don album? It's easily their best album and almost all the tracks are amazing. Sorry Sorry and BONAMANA (which I own, ironically XD) were very disappointing imo and don't live up to it at all. And I'm taking this chance to pimp up my favorite Suju song :laugh : |

The personality of most SJ-members is terrible and their fans are crazy in a very uncomfortable way. I like some of their songs and sometimes check on them, but that's it. I'm not very interested in them anymore...! |

I was a fan of Super Junior when they debuted, but I didn't like their second album, Don't Don, at all, so I stopped following them. I don't think I would say most of them have bad personalities, but a few of them have said/done some really questionable things... Their fans are insane and annoying though. Not you guys, lol. It's really annoying being "around" them because all they ever do is shove pictures of shirtless Eunhyuk in your face and whine that SS501 beat Bonamana with Love Ya on some show. :no |

Sucks to hear their fans are so awful. Reminds me a lot of SNSD's; it's the reason I always desperately avoid reading any comments on their YT videos. Guess I'll need to do the same for SuJu, though I'm not quite into them enough to be looking at videos super often.

First day sales for Mr. Simple were 17,185. They ranked third, behind Namie (with 28,231) and AKB48...with 959,280 :laugh
Good for them though. What were the first day sales for Bijin (BONAMANA)? At least this time they shot a video for it. My copy arrived today too, so I can take pictures if anyone wants to see :D |

By the way, sales have been amazing. Better than I was expecting actually. I forget the first day total exactly, but I think it was about 17k. I didn't pay attention the past few days, but yesterday alone they sold 35k, which is incredible. It actually gave them the daily #1, ahead of Namie and even AKB. It looks like they're going to end with the #2 spot for the week, but I there's still today's and tomorrow's sales, as well as the other days I didn't check. Regardless of the position, they still sold incredibly well, which is amazing for how little promotion they've put into the single themselves. Thankfully they at least filmed a PV for it this time, unlike BONAMANA :\ |

Ummm.....guys.....it happened.......I've found my first Boy Band. I was ashamed at first, but now I'm a self proclaimed E.L.F.
In just the past few days they've gotten me. I've heard the name "Super Junior" thrown about here and there but had never seen them, heard their music or cared to know them for specific reasons. Stumbled upon "Mr. Simple" the song in the past couple days and before the first word in the song was uttered, I was hooked. Just the beat alone. Then more songs and more songs. "BONAMANA", "Superman", etc. Then there's a Japanese version of "Mr. Simple"?! DONE. I'm in. Their "Mr. Simple" Album is already on its way to my residence. And I never really found Asian Male voices appealing in music, so I was surprised. But what I've heard from them has been kind of different sounding than the other typical Asian Male sounding music I've heard in Japan. Lee Hyuk-jae (Eunhyuk) is my favorite. |

Would have liked to have ordered Version B of "Mr. Simple" for the Poster and I loved the Cover concept much more than Version A and a little bit more than "A-CHA", but it's missing some songs and "A-CHA" had all of the songs but 1 and it just so happened to be the cheapest, so I had to forgo the poster, sadly. :bsigh

^ You mean Super Junior M? That's a sub-group of Super Junior. They were created to appeal to the Chinese market. There are not too active, though. The only song I know from them is "Perfection", but it's a very good song! :heart

What is going on with these guys? This song sounds just as messy and all over the place as................*Scrolls up to check the name of the song*...............well whatever it's called. That "Super Sexy Cool Single" song or whatever. And again, "SPY" sounds like another "SHINEE" track. |

So it was announced that Kibum has left SM and Super Junior (not all that surprising, but still)

Yep, his contract ended and he decided not to renew it. Also, Ryeowook and Heechul and sent support messages for him wishing him all the best in whatever he chooses to do in the future :)
I love Kibum, he's still my second bias, but it's not surprising at all, we all knew that the music world wasn't what he trully wanted. If anything I'm glad he left so peacefully, he just stopped promoting and waited quietly for his contract to end while performing a couple of acting roles, without scandals and or surprises. I hope he's happy in whatever he chooses to do in his life. |
