I finally preordered the CD+DVD version of the album. I was trying all last night and this morning to place my order on YA and an error message kept popping up until I was finally able to get it through this afternoon! I'm so excited about it, I can't wait to see what the first press special packaging is as well as the covers for both editions!

I completely agree with you as I was hoping the same thing. I personally think that it should have made the cut before these other songs did as they all had physical releases on her albums and/or singles while "Dirty Beauty" hasn't:

I'm thinking of buying this but... it's too expensive only for three new songs and an MV... :( I don't know what to do...

I understand how you feel. I was hesistant and on the fence about purchasing this album ever since it was first announced last year. I normally preorder her albums when they are first made available but I just decided to place an order recently. Like you said, with there only being 3 new songs and 1 new video, I was unsure if it was worth paying $40+ for. But what made me decide to order it was the fact that I had never listened to any of the songs that weren't on her physical releases before (except for Checkmate and Dirty Beauty) so a good number of the songs are going to feel new to me (even the wicked dancehall version of Brave Vibration because I never opened my copy of Atashi that I want to sell). Plus, I'm happy to have them on a physical album including Checkmate. As far as the DVD content, I'm not exactly thrilled that all of the PVs are songs that I already have on her other album DVDs (except for the new one) but I didn't want to pass up not having the new one on a physical DVD because I'm super anal about stuff like that, lol.

^ I think about it and I finally decides to buy the SOSEXY photobook before the new BEST album. The BEST will leak, but the photobook won't and she really looks stunning in the photos, so I want them all!!!!! I'll preorder it tomorrow *__*

I really want the book as well! I was hoping it would become available on YA so I could try to include it with another item to get free shipping but they never listed it. HMV is also not selling the book although they typically carry all of the books she's released (YA too). It appears as though many online shops (especially those that ship outside of Japan without the use of a middleman) are not carrying the book except Amazon.co.jp and Neowing/CDJapan. I did a google search and looked through a lot of pages to see who else was selling it but they all listed either of those two sites. I'm going to order my copy from CDJ on the 15th.

The covers are really amazing!! But I'm not sure if I prefer this or a real photo... anyway I liked it a lot!

Thank you so much for posting all of the complete information regarding this album! I absolutely love the covers, they were completely unexpected! Now I'm really looking forward to the first press packaging of the CD+DVD version! Anna looks delicious (lol) and I also love how the album title ties in with the cover as well! I personally prefer the cover of the CD only because the text is colored to match the candy theme but the white stands out more so I like that too. As far as the tracklist, I'm happy to see that they added "JUICY GIRL feat. The SAMOS" from her previously released single.

Hope this album will be released in Europe, like her previous albums.

Since "JUICY GIRL feat. The SAMOS" is on this album, is it safe to assume that "UNCHAINED GIRL" was a single released for this album and not a future album? I ask because I didn't purchase "UNCHAINED GIRL" because she usually puts all of her songs on her album but this one only has one of the three songs from that single. I'm trying to decide if I should wait to buy it just in case the songs pop up on her next studio album or get it now if "Master Blaster" and "STAYIN' ALIVE" are exclusive to "UNCHAINED GIRL".

Namie Amuro released "60s 70s 80s" as a physical single for her best album "BEST FICTION" so although it's not common, it's certainly possible. I think I'm just going to wait until she releases her next studio album before I make a decision on if I want to buy it. This isn't her typical release pattern so like you said, who knows at this point.

On April 17th, model/singer Tsuchiya Anna attended Starbucks Coffee Japan’s event, “My Style, My Frappuccino -Starbucks Summer Collection 2012-“.

The other day, Tsuchiya revealed through her official blog that she had hurt her hand, which led to rumours of her husband Kikuchi Yamato’s domestic violence. Kikuchi was previously arrested for acting violently in a Karaoke establishment. Tsuchiya denied these rumors saying, “We are in love. I cut my hand with a plate, so I’m fine. It doesn’t hurt at all.”

Starbucks held this event to commemorate the launch of their new product, “Chocolate Cookie Crumble Frappuccino with White Chocolate Pudding”. They introduced this new product with a fashion show featuring models wearing outfits that fit the image of frappucchinos.

There was also a talk show with Tsuchiya and stylist Sasaki Keiko. During the talk show, Tsuchiya commented on Starbucks with, “I go at least 2 or 3 times a day. I love it.” While drinking the new frappuccino, she said, “It’s like jewelry, it’s cute. When you first look at it, it looks sweet, but it’s not as sweet as it looks. It gives me energy.”

Wonder how it's possible to have her hand cut by a plate o_O

I am deeply saddened to hear about these allegations of domestic violence. As much as I would like to believe that these claims are untrue, I have to admit that I am very concerned about her. Although it is common for the media to fabricate stories, situations about domestic violence are usually not made up out of thin air. I had a bad feeling about her husband after he got involved in an altercation at the karaoke bar last year but I tried to treat it as an isolated incident and didn't want to judge him or jump to conclusions based on that situation alone. If the previous article mentioned is true, I truly hope that Anna would quickly remove herself and her children out of an environment where they could physically and emotionally be in a dangerous situation. As a public figure whose musical career revolves around the empowerment of women and a possible victim of domestic violence, I hope that if it is true, she finds the strength to walk away by her own motivation and by the help of others close to her who love and care about her. I'm not surprised that she would deny these allegations as it's sometimes hard for some women to find a way out of these types of situations or even to acknowledge that it's happening to others but I hope that everything turns out well. As I said, I hope it's not true but if Anna has been in and out of the hospital with injuries that indicate domestic violence and her husband has a history of being a violent person, the writing certainly seems to be on the walls. :(

INORAN to collaborate with Tsuchiya Anna for new album

On June 27th, Luna Sea guitarist INORAN will be releasing his new album, “Dive youth, Sonik dive“, to commemorate his 15th year anniversary. It’s been revealed that Tsuchiya Anna will be participating in the album with the song “no options“.

INORAN, who wanted to do a rock duet for “no options”, approached Tsuchiya for her powerful voice. Tsuchiya accepted his offer, and it turned out to be a duet song that intertwine their voices together.

The first press limited edition will come with a DVD as well as a 12 inch analog. The analog will contain “no options-mirrorless“, which INORAN sings by himself.

Regarding the duet, Tsuchiya commented, “I was very happy to participate in INORAN-san’s song! It’s a really cool song, and it’s become one of my favorites! I hope to sing with with him at a live someday!”

Additionally, INORAN will be kicking off his tour, “Live Tour 2012 ‘Dive youth, Sonik dive’“, in late June. He’s also added Shibuya O-EAST for July 26th. With this new addition, the tour will now host a total of 9 shows.
