Haha no, i'm still in school and just turned 15 a couple of months back lol :P
I learned everything just by playing around and looking at tutorials etc.

And you should never let something like that hold you back, Graphical Design is so much fun, besides.. there's always gonna be people who's somewhat more experienced than you.
But the feeling of people appreciating your work is so wonderful, so i really think you should go for it!

i hope BRILLANTE helps increase the album sales!!

Ashen Twilight 27th August 2011 10:18 PM

I think BRILLANTE is going to be one of those songs that Western fans love. I doubt she will use that song to promote FIVE at all.

FIVE is a great release from her as usual to me.
BRILLANTE and progress made my day and the PVs are quite well too.
Spotlight to beloved and BRILLANTE

YUKARI 28th August 2011 02:12 AM

lol I was so excited about BRILLANTE yesterday, my bf had to calm down me :laugh
now I can't wait to see PVs.

BRILLANTE is the song of this year imo.

Out of 4 other songs she released this year, that's not saying a whole lot. Lol.

YUKARI 28th August 2011 02:27 AM

^ I didn't mean only ayu's songs. It's the best I've heard from all the new stuff which was released this year ;)

owlflight 28th August 2011 02:55 AM

Let's hope the next release has something upbeat and happy. This mini album seems a bit dark (trying to learn lyrics!) and sad in its overall tone. Still excited though!

freedreamer 28th August 2011 03:05 AM

I still want a CM to be officially teased even more. HAHAH! this is so ridiculous on avex's part. SERIOUSLY!

brener 28th August 2011 03:21 AM

Lets make BRILLANTE trend on twitter!!

#BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE #BRILLANTE

YUKARI 28th August 2011 03:40 AM

haha let's spam Tim and Ayu to show our gratitude and etc. :D I think ayu will be happy to see it (only if she doesn't mind that it leaked XD)

truehappiness 28th August 2011 04:58 AM

"How did you all manage to get a hold of it so early?" is what I imagine them to say if we did that at this point, lol.

redhairedking 28th August 2011 05:05 AM

I just listened to the album, it is excellent. I can't wait for my physical copy to get here!

pommy48 28th August 2011 05:06 AM

Haha well Timmy already know we've heard it~ He thanked everyone for our 'kind comments' yesterday :laugh

emi♡ 28th August 2011 05:08 AM

SURREAL__RAINBOW 28th August 2011 05:11 AM

we just spammed the crap out when the song leaked lol

pommy48 28th August 2011 05:11 AM

^^ Haha but then I love that he also tweeted "Please show your support for Ayu and make sure you buy FIVE when it's released - with the videos AND the makings, it's really worth it!" after thanking everyone...He probably figured out we heard the leaked version :laugh

i feel the same way.. all five songs have very different type of music. that's why i love this album. even though all the songs are not arranged in epic music arrangement, but still i love how easy listening of some songs (in this ANother song and beloved)

In italian is easier!
You have to read it as it's written!
It's simple...BRILLANTE, with double L!

http://translate.google.it/#it|en|brillante%0A
Play the sound XD

kumikomishitate 28th August 2011 01:48 PM

I personally say it with a French accent... someone should ask her on Twitter.

i studied latin last year but i can't understand anything xD but i saw on twitter something related with good bye

Kagome-chan 28th August 2011 05:07 PM

We should ask to Tim!

MissElin_ 28th August 2011 05:07 PM

Yeah someone heard them chanting good bye in both german and polish.

I'm not toally superexcited over this album. I'm totally in love with progress and BRILLANTE. They are pretty much 10/10 for me. But the other songs... Why... is quite good. Maybe a 7/10. Beloved is very much so-so (imo). It's simple and nice but not really my coup of tea. 4/10 And ANother Song is REALLY not my coup of tea! Nothing, really nothing exciting happends in that song. It's not really happening alot between the bridge and the chours. Well... 3/10. Beloved orchestra version is not better than the original version so no big change.

And I feel totally trolled with the hidden track.... I'm really not enjoying that "thing" at all.

For me, this album contains two and ½ truly freaky-crazy-ass-amazing songs but the others are nothing speciall at all. I will probably skip all of them but progress, BRILLANTE and Why...

Naturally, please don't get offended anyone! I just expressed my oppinions and I'm not forcing anyone to think the same. I'm actually really happy to see so many of you pleased with this album! :D That's great for Ayu! ^^ I'm just picky. :P And I'm stilling living on the thrill after the Rock 'n' Roll Circus album so it's hard for any following album to follow that. xD

ayumisrael 28th August 2011 05:22 PM

So I did hear "dasvidania!" I know it's good-bye in russian but polish and russian have some similar words. xD

But it's just in the ending I think they say different stuff on the beginning/choruses

tokyoxjapanxfan 28th August 2011 05:30 PM

Today at a-nation Ayu stated that ANother song is really important to her and she started to almost cry just talking about it... so there's some type of importance attached to it for her... *shrug* She held herself back from crying during the performance as well

The "official" way to read the title is, accoring to Ayu, is Burirante, just to clarify.

Nor really.. she say "burirante" just because she's Japanese and it's difficult for her to say just "brillante", which is the official way to read it :D

marekcarey 28th August 2011 07:15 PM

Yes, but its her song, so the way she wants it to be pronounced thats the correct way. :D
And if you know the phonetic alphabet it is /brɪlʌnte/ according to what she meant with the word.

Andrenekoi 28th August 2011 07:23 PM

I will not start using the engrish way to say her songs names just cuz she does xD

No buruu buradu or suupakuru for me xD

Fenio 28th August 2011 07:39 PM

Yeah, I agree that it feels like a little bit of a disrespect to JUNO. It's Ayu's song of course, but it just doesn't rub me the right way. It reminds me of Fergie giving Kuu That Ain't Cool as a (birthday?) present or something and then singing 95% of the song lol.

She doesn't want it to be pronounced like that, she just can't pronounce it correctly. ^^; She also say "puroguresu" for progress, "shikuretto" for secret, "baraado" for BALLAD but we don't pronounce it like that ^^

I didn't want to be insulting.. I was just explaining the Japanese way to read foreign words. Yes, Ayu's English is quite good, but still she pronounce her title songs in engrish 'cause it's easier to understand in Japan. ^^;;

Tom Punks 28th August 2011 08:00 PM

That's why she should use japanese symbols instead of ENGRISH, because it sounds and it looks dumb if you can't pronounce your own songs' titles correctly.

We say do vidjenja here which is similar to what Polish people say then and I didn't here that. I am pretty sure I can here Adios though.

truehappiness 28th August 2011 08:57 PM

"Correctly?"

I think that's just the way that they pronounce English titles because they're Japanese and don't speak English fluently. It doesn't really make it any less correct imo though.

And as for Why... with Urata, does it count as a remix if it's probably the original Why...?

Instead of Engrish people should think about it as a form of Japanese slang.
