YesAsia allowed me to cancel mine (although books normally canīt be cancled) and transfer the CD in the same order to another order. Just waiting now for the refund. Just didnīt want to hang this order with the in stock item together hanging forever in my account <.<

I sent them the link and text from the ViVi site and said that since it's postponed til who knows when could they refund the difference as credit. I'll let you know what the response is! I've been a YA customer for years now, spent a lot of money with them - if I can convince them, you should have another try! Should get the yea/nay within the day :) Spoiler:

So the LIFE STYLE BOOK is postponed indefinitely? If that's case I really should try convince them to cancel my order and refund me the money. |
They did the changeover for me :) The book still shows up in the order, but is listed as "cancelled", plus B1A4's album is in there now, too! ^_^
I don't think they've turned the leftover $8 or so into credit, but apparently partial refunds are applied after the order is shipped. Try contacting them again using the same quote that I did in Japanese, they've possibly not received "official" confirmation yet, but they could push it through for you with the update from ViVi! |
Say that you want the money from cancled book in YA credits, that may help, because it shows them that you want the spent the money still in their shop^^

i know people in YA and they say you can just cancel the LIFESTYLE BOOK and get refund as they also dont have any idea on the release date.

I don't mind keeping it in my order, the money is still on my credit card, I just wonder if, let's say, the book will be released but will get much more expensive, then will they charge me more on yesasia? I wouldn't like them to take 50$ off my credit card, I hope I will be able to cancel if the price appears to be higher.

I think it's just an extended delay, and that we'll get it at some point...but who knows when though.

Yesasia this morning emailed me that the shipment of the lifestyle book will be postponed until 30 Apr..

it's funny that a month ago i sent email to YA to cancel the order, but they said they couldn't cancel anymore because they've pre-ordered and today they cancelled it for me lols. well, it happened to everyone who ordered from YA~
now i wonder if the order from CDJ got cancelled or not. my friend told me that CDJ not let her cancel this photobook because the same reason as YA. i think it's gonna be the same. |

Probably because it was originally going to be what the whole Party Queen booklet turned out to be and now they want to actually make it different haha.

Well, there were going to be exclusive photos taken by Ayu (like with a digital camera) but I don't think they ever reported that she was going to have a professional shoot in her house. IIRC, the last time someone wanted to do that, she was VERY much against it and to this day, the most we've seen of her home is like... a Christmas tree in the corner of a room.
Basically the book was announced with a photo from the shoot they did in her hotel room at the Ritz Carlton Central Park in New York some time in September-October 2011 which led everyone to believe that she took the photos for the book (which I think she did). She also did a photoshoot some time in November-December in London with Ryan and Leslie which was probably the original direction that they were going in for the Party Queen cover (how beautiful you are came from this shoot, I guess) but for some reason she switched gears and made it so that the photos taken in NY were now for Party Queen and the photos from the original shoot have yet to be released. Since SUPER AYU is a continuation of Party Queen's actual booklet, I imagine that the Party Queen photobook will be those missing shots. |
Now I'm really confused....
So the new SUPER AYU is the extra shots from Party Queen, an extra book that was to be available on sites HMV or something and was due to release the same day as the album (but not YesAsia, because I never saw it?). It's also been postponed....and now that LIFE STYLE BOOK is on hiatus, SUPER AYU may be getting more content to make up for it? Ayu called it SUPER AYU when someone asked her what the new Party Queen shots were. And this SUPER AYU is not the same SUPER AYU as the book Leslie and Ayu gave to her 500 friends/family etc for her birthday last year....am I right here? This is more confusing than it should be...... o_O Ayu, you'd better be taking notes on this, OK? lol |
^ I think THIS super Ayu is the one she got for her birthday, that's why it's weird they "release" it now (it has been never release before, and everyone was complaining about that, at that time...).
I think the Super Ayu book mixes shoots from FIVE+PQ (since the real PQ shoot wasn't meant to be the PQ shoot originally). Then, the LIFE STYLE BOOK is completely another thing, but maybe some pics of the PQ shoot was originally for the LIFE STYLE BOOK (because the CD+DVD cover was unveiled in october-november last year, when LIFE STYLE BOOK was announced). It's so crazily complicated and confusing ! X___X EDIT : I'm trying to sum up things :: Super Ayu book (never released, given to Ayu for her birthday) --> FIVE shoot + Party Queen shoot (but it wasn't "Party Queen" at that time, just "NY shoot") LIFE STYLE BOOK (release postponed many times, still no release date) --> maybe some Party Queen pics + personal pics of Ayu's lifestyle Party Queen Photobook (still no release date or further any information, maybe cancelled) --> Party Queen shoot |
The book that is being given away at AT12 is the original SUPER Ayu that we saw at her post-POWER of MUSIC afterparty. It's extremely limited and not for sale.
I don't think she was referring to an actual book when she tweeted about a 'new SUPER Ayu' but who knows at this point. |

^Avex is used to release multiple things on the same day with Ayu.So,I guess that we'll have the book among with the new Ayu's music project.(maybe summer,I hope so xD)
