I know that SMAP will get #1 over Ayu, but I don't care about it... Even though SMAP is older than Ayu (though the fact that she's 33, but SMAP is a Johnny's group that is sustainably more popular than Ayu) I kind of not worry about it, especially when it's a COMPILATION album of some sort and I have younger artists in hand that I also listen to (miwa, Sayuri Sugawara, Leo Ieiri)...

The songs are the same as they've always been, Avex says they've been "remastered" which means they've just been compressed/mastered using newer technology. Apparently there isn't much difference.

I prefer it like that. There is no completely universal ideal of beauty especially when it comes to muscle definition - just ask bodybuilders and they will all focus on something different. And that's already one niche group only.

Woah, Audience sounds noticeably different. I'm not a fan, it sounds kind of flat and empty. Monochrome just sounds a bit clearer, but it hasn't lost that muffled feel that makes it so good.

I can't hear any difference on the other songs. :/

Audience sounds very similar to the Dave ford mix on the single to me. It's not entirely the same, but I find it similar.

The beginning of Boys & Girls is also different than the album version. You can hear her taking a breath before the talala's. It's similar to the Aube mix from the single.

I was speaking from technical terms and not regarding preference / beauty standpoint (although I do prefer chest to be fuller - mine is more developed than his and I still am nowhere near content). But, most bodybuilders don't focus on a certain area, they strive to focus on a well-balanced overall physique, without certain muscle areas being noticeably overpowering. Hence the term "body"builder, lol.

As for Boys & Girls, there is no "album" version; the AUBE mix was the one used on LOVEappears. The only time it wasn't was for A BEST with the new vocal and mix. Considering they're using the single tracks like they did with A COMPLETE, I'm almost POSITIVE the version on ASB is the AUBE mix. But the best person to ask about this would be - you guessed it - Deli! And so I shall. She or I will report back with the official findings ^_^v

Well, Deli says there's no need for debate about A SUMMER BEST; Boys & Girls is Boys & Girls - the AUBE Original Mix :) For anyone who's curious though, the A BEST version of the song wasn't marked as "new vocal & mix" like the others, but there are indeed some differences, although very minor, iirc. I'll have to ask Deli what those are. But they haven't used it on any compilations since then, so I don't see why this one would be any different.

And Foyuki, I thought you meant the difference between the times as a whole, like 4:41 and 4:43. Don't mind me. But yes, Greatful days is the A BEST 2 version, with the longer intro.
