I have to say I find this version really boring. It doesn't seem to go anywhere. The "romani" arrangements on ayu-mi-x 4 were much more powerful, interesting and even impressive than this full classical arrangement IMO.
What made M a great song is lost here.

Is it just me, or do the vocals sound different in these versions? Not re-recorded different, but rather slightly edited, or perhaps even unedited unlike in the original mixes. Or maybe it's just the music.
Whatever it is, it is making the vocals sound better than in the originals. These versions don't give really anything new to me, but I'm such a sucker for classical music, I can't dislike these songs when the strings and the flutes and I don't know what any instruments are called sound so majestic and beautiful. :love

I really love 'Dearest' (then again, it's one of the best songs ever, so how is that surprising) and I don't mind 'You & Me' so much...which is surprising considering how much I hate the original. 'M' and 'Song 4 u' didn't do much for me though.

Okay, now I'm convinced I will not buy this album.
While MY STORY Classical offers a lot of diversity in the arrangements, I feel that I'm listening to the same grand and bland arrangement all over again with those previews. I can feel nothing at all. It's very pretty for shure but that's it. It doesn't add something interesting to the song for me. Like being orchestral for the sake of it. There is no emotion. It almost sounds like the boring orchestra versions she puts on the singles (the ayu-mi-x being better and clever).
Of course I'm judging LQ versions, but I don't feel the HQ will be any "different".

I'm disappointed. The only good thing is that I can keep my money this time. Something I should have done with the previous "minis".

A little let down by the arrangement for Song 4 u but it's decent. This is going to be a good release.

Dearest bored me. I don't really see much diffrence from original since Dearest is a calm ballad and the classical arragment is also calm as I thought.

Same for Song 4 u... is this really a big diffrence between the version on single...? I don't really remember how it sounds and it sound pretty similar... I feel same for M too XD Those 3 sounds just very very similar.... XD But M was the song I was missing the most, so I enjoyed it a little more.

but the CD looks like an orchestral arrangement album or even a movie soundtrack, definitely not "CLASSICAL"

But it's nice that it got a fresh arrangement.
Such a song should never be allowed to go old.

Based on these rips (thank you again! :) ) I think this album will be good. Not mind-blowing like MY STORY Classical, but good.

I think its too soon for Song 4 u classical version, we just had orchestra version on again, I understand they're different but I don't think the new version is unique enough. It's still nice though.

M is good, I prefer the end to the beginning. My favourite version will forever be the one on Power of Music tour though :D

I really like this version of Dearest, I've never been a fan of this song but I enjoy this version a lot more than the original.

You & Me so far is my favourite, which I never thought I'd say haha.

The vocals do seem a bit different from the 'original' vocals for these songs. I wonder what they did to them.

As far as how 'interesting'/boring the arrangements are, this is pretty much what I expected. It's like the Orchestra versions but bumped up another level with more instruments. Her Orchestra versions lately are essentially 99% strings while these include more of an epic feel to them.

Song 4 U did nothing for me, but I really adore Dearest, maybe it is the best out of all we've heard :)

Dearest was NICE. No melodic changes to the accompaniment obviously, but that made it nice - kinda felt like hearing the song for the first time again.
M was handled well - I think it mighta been trying too hard to be dramatic, but... well I can't say it didn't work. But this one didn't give me tingles like M originally did when it first came out... but man it almost did.

The classical version is really beautiful though. It does a great job enhancing the over-all emotion of the song.

I like Days mainly because I love Christmas time and I love ultra-wintery sounding J-songs. So the arrangement for Days is what really made me love it and therefore I do not like any of the remixes.

I totally forgot about the release of this album. Comes out in less than a week. I blame LOVE again.

I still don't like the tracklist. But damn this album is pretty as hell.

This album is much better than expected, I am really excited to hear the rest! Dearest = a classical that should have been done a long time ago but because we had to wait so long it makes it so special. I've never been a huge fan of M but the classical really enhances the intense last verse at the end, gave me mild chills. I've never liked days except for the remixes (I agree with love in music) so far it sounds nice. You & me, this should have been the original version, so much better. Song 4 u is really awesome, I don't mind that we have a classical version on top of an acoustic for this song, the classical is really great, this should have been the original version.

yeah... i wished we had some different tracks, but so far this is turning into a great album, MW and evolution... :*(

Usually for the vocals in the original versions, they layer her voice like crazy, and put lots of back up vocal tracks too. But for these, they only have one vocal track and one back up track. That's why it sounds so clean.

Dearest is currently my favorite and Love songs certainly sounds interesting. I hope the full leak comes soon.

While I'm completely indifferent to the other tracks (expect You & Me) I have to say Love song sounds so promising. It sounds different from the typical (and boring) string formula.
Even if the other tracks aren't just arranged with strings they feel uninspired to me and quite cliché.
With You & Me Classical the arrangements gave another dimension to the song in my opinion. With Love song they sound different from most of her Orchestra single arrangements / other songs on A Classical, they kept the fierceness of the original track. It's not another typical ballad arrangement.
