Corvina 15th June 2013 10:19 AM

Kuu's Japonesque Tour is sold out so far.
They promote it like that, here for the last 4 for shows:

And it has 18 dates, 16 normal and 2 additional.

ayumisrael 15th June 2013 10:33 AM

Then it's normal that the 2 last shows aren't sold out yet?
But aren't the osaka ones are still selling tickets?

Corvina 15th June 2013 10:40 AM

I didn't check till which date tickets are sold for the last 4 dates
So it can be that those aren't sold out (yet).

Andrenekoi 15th June 2013 01:38 PM

If they were sold out there wouldn't be promotion to sell tickets...

kaled kalil 15th June 2013 02:10 PM

The ad is not selling tickets tho, its just promoting the special final.

I think people still mad about her random scandals, people usually prefer going to Best concerts.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 15th June 2013 05:55 PM

"sold out"? i'm sure I could get tickets from a reseller shop...doesn't "sold out" just refer to tickets from official sources...?

kaled kalil 15th June 2013 06:09 PM

^ Of course, it's always like that. It doesn't matter if people buy to resell, she gets the money anyway lol :D

Meshal 15th June 2013 08:09 PM

i know that RnR tour was attended by 400k

News from http://avexnet.or.jp/ayu/en/news/080125a.html

The live DVD ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2007 ~Tour of Secret~ "LIVE + DOCUMENTARY" to be released on Wednesday, March 12

ayumi hamasaki's first Asian tour is now available on a long-awaited DVD!

The 120-minute live DVD captures every hit song of the show, plus encores, encompassing songs from the Secret album and staples of ayumi's live shows.
The scale of ayumi's Asian tour was completely unheard of. Running from March to June 2007, the tour mobilized a total of 180,000 people in Japan (Saitama, Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka), Taipei, Hong Kong, and Shanghai and transported the 600-ton stage to perfectly recreate ayumi's Japan shows in cities around Asia. This DVD set contains exceptionally rare footage never seen in past tour DVDs that filmed only the final concert. It includes such precious moments as the wild reception of ayumi's Asian fans and songs performed at only a few stops during the tour ("Memorial address," "JEWEL," "momentum," and "flower garden").

Livey~ 15th June 2013 10:10 PM

^ Maybe since Tour of Secret was the first Asia Tour, it means she performed in smallest places..
I'm not sure, but if I remember right in the documentary some of the Arenas were really small, so less seats means less people could go and see it :)

Meshal 16th June 2013 03:17 AM

does anyone how much does ayu ticket cost??

plz dont say 8500 bc my brother told my they cost more he went to an ayu concert

majrakun 16th June 2013 08:01 AM

^ Maybe because he bought it from scalpers/resellers? That's the original price you get directly from TA.

ComatoseBunnySnatcher 16th June 2013 09:13 AM

Maybe its because Im so sedated due to therapy, but she's so stale show wise!
I love her but change it up, geez.

I know right :no

HULUFan 16th June 2013 09:35 AM

Is any one going to sit around area E at southside on July 27th? (ī・ω・`)

saigodansu 16th June 2013 11:55 AM

Those numbers don't prove anything though, they're going by tickets sold from TA and Conveni's which sell them. Those numbers will always match up exactly to how many tickets were available because the resellers empty the kiosks before people planning to attend can get to them. So the only thing it shows is which tours had more concerts.

kotora 16th June 2013 12:52 PM

ayumi hamasaki's ARENA Tour 2005 A: My Story: 230 000

I thought there were more people attending.

ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2010 A – Rock'n'Roll Circus: 400 000

Another surprises because I didn't think this tour was that good. Perhaps 7 days Final helped.

But there are so many factors involved to attendance, i.e. Tickets in the market, arena available sizes, etc.

I don't understand why AHS members are being so dramatic all the time by small tiny things. This kind of non-scene argument happens all the time.

Because we care. Really, I don't want to be a rational fan, that always praise or at maximus is indifferent. I love being in the meltdowns, giving my opinion and strongly feel for her. I love being passionate about small things.
If these "scenes" aren't happening, it'd probably be a sign of a dying fandom.

Love is dramatic.

Actually, her fandom has been dying since the end of her peak. It's a miracle that the decrease was so slow.

The pool was for JEWEL and HEAVEN, SAKURA was performed like Together when... at CDL but in the main stage, not in the center of the arena :D

It was awesome. I cried the whole HEAVEN performance, the dance was really beautiful. The light effects in JEWEL where like the water was diamonds, just like in the PV!! ^^

For Sakura they used blurred screens of cherry blossom, very beautiful too.

And it worked! He was SOLD OUT in minutes. It's possible for Ayu,too, but i don't think it's gonna happen, she's not that kind of artist...

Yeah, I was going to bring up Gackt as well. He obviously has no problem with stripping down his shows and just playing. He has played all over the world now. But, the sad truth is that there is a difference between him and Ayumi - Gackt is a musician.

TeamAyu2004 20th June 2013 10:12 AM

Gackt is hardly a musician and more like a hack. lol.. I like what I did there.

Ayumi has already demonstrated she can do a stripped down tour. It was called Power of Music. The first round of shows were incredibility minimalistic.
There is a reason why she doesnt go over seas, because she doesnt want too. She has already said she has no desire to do it so why?
Her main audience is in Japan. Thats it. Theres not reason for her to go to Europe or america for her MAYBE 100's of fans.
She might to do another asia tour one day, who knows. But the way she is being hated by her international 'fans' why bother?

Gackt is a musician. The man writes his lyrics, composes music and plays a couple of instruments.

A tour with so many dancers, center stage and a couple of nice costumes can hardly be called stripped down you know. It was not minimalistic at all, just stripped down compared to her regular tours. Ayumi Hamasaki has more than 100 fans in Europe and the States and she could easily sing in front of prolly as many people as Gackt did.

Where did you get the idea that she doesn't want to go anywhere else? She's never said it.

Mirrorcle Monster 20th June 2013 10:57 AM

Power of Music stripped down?!?! OMG you gotta be kidding me: full orchestra, more than 20 dancers, full band, 7 costume changes...

I guess I could have said stripped down compared to her other concerts. But the first half of her tour had none of the costume changes, or the wild things that she does for concerts. The DVD we got and the final was basically a completely different show.

Oh and she has said on several occasions she has no desire to come to america (dont now about Europe but I well lump all western speaking countries together because i can)

Even on the first round she had three costumes (same pattern but three models), a full orchestra, a full band, dancers, and she performed in arenas. Doesnt sound too stripped down

not at first. You are thinking towards the middle and end. When she started the concert and for a few shows it was BARE MINIMUM.

And quite frankly just because its in an arena doesnt mean squat.

Of course it was in arenas, because it was planned in arenas, and all the tickets were allready sold. she could have done the same show in a small venue too.
And also in "stripped down" shows she needs a band just as Gackt (to continue the example taht was given before) even if he can play several instruments, he canīt play them all at once.
And I am not gettimg tired in bringing on Limited TA Live Tour, she had 3 costumes, a small stage, her band, i think 2 or 3 dancers and 2 background singers.
So she CAN if she wants to ;)

I never heard or read anything about her not wanting to go overseas. In fact, there's this interview from CNN, I guess, when she was working on Secret, and she said she would go anywhere in the world if her fans wanted her to.

You've gotta be kidding about the Gackt comment. He writes his own lyrics, music, often times arrangements as well, plays several instruments botg live and on his albums etc. If he isnt a musician then i dont know who is. Also, Power of Music was a far cry from a band in a hall or club.

Don't get me wrong, my favorite ayu show ever is the TA limited live. But it's as you said, if she wanted to do that kind of show again she would, but clearly she doesn't. Or at least doesn't think it's worth doing - as you put it for a few hundred fans. Gackt and Hyde as well do think its worth it however and I think them being actual musicians probably is a factor. Hyde could be selling out stadiums with l'arc yet he chooses to spend a lot of his time solo touring small venues around the world. That says to me that they are more concerned with their music being heard by as many people as possible, rather than going only where it will be most profitable for them, their companies etc. and I'm not saying one is bad, but it's just obviously a very different way of doing things that I'm not sure ayu is willing to do.

Here's some info for you: he' plays around 10 instruments - piano, bass, drums, guitar, shamisen, violin, trumpet, tuba, horn, trombone; is a trained min'yō singer (traditional type of japanese singing); composes 99% of his music as well as writes lyrics and also does arangements. SERIOUSLY, NOW.

Also you are probably only one TRUE FAN WHO LOVES AYU UNCONDITIONALY around the world i asume?.... :innocent And PoM? Really? the only concert u can call REALLY stripped down to almost nothing is a limited TA one, THAT was stripped down. Sure PoM was quite simple compared to her usual pompastic stuff but nowhere near as stripped down as TA limited one. She could take TA limited one overseas, no way PoM...That would be wayyyyy too expensive.

Well i think for GACKT it was easier because he's in a rock/VK world and lots of VK/rock bands went overseas so he had a bit of an idea what to expect. I franckly dunno how j-pop does overseas. And fact is that yeah they are very different.

saigodansu 21st June 2013 02:05 PM

Gackt a hack and Ayu a musician? If Ayu was on Gackts level, no one would need to plead for the return of CREA because CREA would compose all her music. She lets her music be dumbed down by the Avex way of doing things. Her music now is getting a bunch of demos, picking 5-18 out depending on if its a single or album and then trying to make some lyrics conform to demos that have been around for who knows how long. Gackt writes his own music and lyrics exactly how he chooses as each recording session comes around and doesn't need to add or remove things from lyrics to make it look like the song is written about some love in his life created for publicity. I would place Ayumi's voice at #1 & Gackt's in the top 10 all time I want to hear over and over again on CDs, but for Gackt I would place him top 5 in talent among all celebrities, while Ayumi presently I wouldn't place in the top 100. Her voice is great, her lyrics conform to whatever the current image is Avex wants her to portray and her music writing has disappeared & publicly she's made herself look like a joke/***** for publicity the last 3-4 years instead of the very endearing sweet image she once had.

You guys are forgetting that an intimate live (which TA Live was) is more about the vocals than the whole production, maybe that's why Ayu doesn't wanna do this anymore.

It has been a long time since Ayu's concert aren't "Ayumi Hamasaki - the singer", but "Ayumi Hamasaki - the show", with a lot of thing going on around her. I mean, she doesn't dance anymore (not that this was her thing, but at least she danced one song per concert, like Inspire, Real me, appears @ AT07...), and she's almost never alone on stage...

I know her vocals are getting better, but I think she's not confortable enought to focus a whole concert around that.

Gackt's music has sucks since REDEMPTION and that was released in 2006. Ayu didn't even begin to stumble until 2009.

Do you sometimes mistake your opinion for fact? People are stating facts about why he's a musician, so your comment is pretty random lol

TeamAyu2004 21st June 2013 02:53 PM

Well, to be fair they are BOTH musicians. the defiantion of musician is:

Quote:

A musician (or "instrumentalist") is a person who plays a musical instrument, especially (although not necessarily) as a profession, or is musically talented.[1] Musicians can be classified by their roles in performing music and writing music. A person who makes music a profession, anyone (professional or not) who is skilled in making music or performing music creatively, or one who composes, conducts, or performs music (especially instrumental music) can be called a musician.
The bolded is for ayumi. As for who is the 'better' musician, thats a matter of personal preference and I think I made it clear where GACKT stands in my book. (Also just to point out, just because someone can do something doesnt mean they should, or that they are any good at it).

I hope not lol I'd rather a new single than another mini. :innocent

If the minis would be anything like LOVE or again, they'd pratically be singles anyway, lol.

She isn't dancing because she is singing live...

She dancing during AT 2010 and this one was full live too ! She also dancing a little during AT 2012 but the general theme of this show was not into this at all but it's not like if her recent songs were oriented dance ...

i agree.

and i also wish that ayu'd do another limited TA tour in small halls, just her, live band, back up vocals and few female dancers.

*hearT_Place* 22nd June 2013 02:46 PM

For people who have been to the tour already, how early would you recommend getting there before the goods stands open?

mizuki-7 22nd June 2013 04:06 PM

With a more positive note she sings teddy bear today =)

ayu-michan 22nd June 2013 05:04 PM

To avoid big crowds just buy goods inside the venue. I easily bought mine 30 minutes before the show. Endless lines are usually outside. Although I don't know if all arenas sell goods inside as well.

Btw talking about the back to the basics performances~ how come I've never seen these 2 before:

You could tell that she was really enjoying it. Her voice was perfect, cuz she wasn't distracted by anything <3

ayu-butterfly 22nd June 2013 07:37 PM

Loved that she sang teddy bear. Does anyone knows how were her vocals today?

wow! thanks for these! she's in great shape here, her voice is really GOOD!

Livey~ 22nd June 2013 09:50 PM

Ah~
If only she sang GAME and INSPIRE during next CDL.. :luv2

saigodansu 22nd June 2013 10:19 PM

@mizuki It has nothing to do with how fluent she is. The stupid sounding lines on the Party Queen album and on Happening Here, don't sound like any english lines she's ever written and came at times when he posted he was working on lyrics for someone. Since I only see his work showing up in her work, it just makes sense.

YuriChan 22nd June 2013 10:24 PM

^FYI, ayu didn't write Happening Here. :P It's a cover of TRF's song of the same name (hence, she didn't write the lyrics). That and the English on Party Queen isn't as bad as you think it is. You, sir, are over-exaggerating.

If it was the case she would have put him in the credits without problem ... She said in interview that they created together these two jazz songs and she only put him in the credit so she is not eager ... and yeah Happening here is not her song so that's not her lyrics !

After all it's not a big deal I stop this debate :D

Pieces_of_SEVEN 22nd June 2013 10:50 PM

mini-album/digital single/album/single >>>>>>>>>>> nothing at all. grow up.

although it's stupid to release a "mini album" with instrumentals of the songs on it. that's MISREPRESENTATION! lol

tasking 23rd June 2013 03:32 AM

Oh yay, teddy bear! I like when it's just her and the bear on stage :)

that was from the CDL special live after her CDL 2004-2005! :)

saigodansu 23rd June 2013 04:33 AM

I was referring to the lines added to Happening Here which it would have been better and by TRF is better without. And it's a matter of opinion on both that and Party Queen. And both ZEKE about the IN MY OPINION and another post above about allowing others to speak a different opinion other than your own without bashing are very correct. Often I get people who decide to report me for my opinion and get an infraction and my posts deleted for having one. Hardly a way to run a forum.

Agree 100%. Even if things run off topic now and again it still stemmed from a discussion. In real life you can't just "trash" conversations that got out of hand and throw a smile on it.
