No, they could just be moving it earlier on in the setlist.

Show is supposed to start at 23:00~ and then they'll have the countdown at around 23:59. It really depends on if she starts late or not.

I don't think this will mean a shorter CDL, but it could end later than usual...

I see no sense of delaying cdl with the same length unless she's not opening kouhaku and thus brings delay to her cdl.

Well, it's 30 minutes later than usual. I just hope this doesn't mean we'll get less tracks or anything. It doesn't really make a difference if she starts EXACTLY ON TIME and not late like usual.

I wonder if she'll still go to Vegas after CDL after being in LA like all year post-tour.

Even in previous years when she DIDN'T open Kouhaku, I don't think she's had it at 11PM. It's usually 10:30.

isn't that what happened with CDL11-12? she was in london for most of november and maybe december, while rehearsals continued in tokyo

She was doing Pray at some point in September/October, I think, and she was also doing Merry-go-round / Feel the love at that point too.

Actually, Ayu doesn't have to be in Japan to create the setlist, the outfits & everything else about the storyline. She have to be in Japan to rehearse & be sure that everything (entry & exit of the stage, dance,...)match perfectly on the stage.

Well, Ayu, aren't you feeling confident, lol. Probably she feels she doesn't need that much time rehearsing. I know you've been doing this stuff every year, for many, many years, but woman, get your lovely backside home and rehearse! XD

1 Month for rehearsing is more than enough considering she probably works on the production of this CDL since several weeks/months ^^ It's not like she was partying all day lol

It always feels so nostalgic near the end of the year. Everything is like in a big rush, especially when looking at her 2000s years when she was like super busy for shows and CDLs.

I really don't think Ayu's just been having a good time or partyin' all these times she's in LA. Well, who knows. But it's great to know she's back here for rehearsals. Timmy told me he's learning lyrics he hasn't performed before. So there might be songs that weren't performed much back then this year! Ggyaaaa can't really wait! 27 more days to go!

We'll probably get the usual early leak from fans who float outside Yoyogi while she rehearses.

Some good news about CDL, kind of, from TA!

- She's been flying back and forth during planning (so whenever she has gone back to Japan, she's probably done CDL stuff too)
- there are going to be a LOT of new things at CDL
- a lot of it is new machinery (stage setups?) that have not previously been seen in Japan apparently

I wonder what she was hinting at~

When do these Yoyogi rehearsals usually take place and what time of the day?

The dress rehearsals are the week leading up to the first performance usually.

Other rehearsals beforehand take place at Makuhari Messe if the making-ofs she's had are any indication.

It tends to go like this...

- Band rehearsals & dance rehearsals in some studio(s) (late Nov. / early Dec)
- Dress rehearsals / Generalprobe (ゲネプロ) at Makuhari Messe (mid Dec.)
- Dress rehearsals / Generalprobe (ゲネプロ) at Yoyogi National Gymnasium (late Dec.)
- The shows begin (29th/30th/31st)

I'm not sure what she'll have in store for the tour next year.

The situation could be that we may get a LOVE again tour for 2014 or we will get a completely new album before April of next year with Pray/Feel the love/Merry-go-round on it.

I'd think that CDL12-13 ~WAKE UP~ is a more likely scenario with standalone outfits/performances unless everything seems a bit more high budget than a CDL normally is.

Oh that's be so great! a CDL and Kouhaku live telecast performance! I remember Fukuyama Masaharu did that as well before. he was on his concert and a certain music show talked to him through the giant screen. and he performed while his performance is being telecasted! How great that'd be!

People still watch her opening act on Kouhaku although they didn't come to that show. Remember a make of CDL future classic or so, people who attended to her CDL are watch her Kouhaku act on their phone. Well... maybe her fans still watch her, don't know about the others.
