The pv is really nice, I really like the black/white and red/blue contrast. The verses are great but the chorus is kind of annoying..she repeats SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA too many times....that's the only thing that I don't like at this release. I remember that when I first heard the song I didn't like it but now I do.

Lol we've gotten like one new song in full and the PV. A small preview of another, and the covers. Not even a full track list and people are throwing around the term flawless. It's extremely overused nowadays. Color The Cover looked like it was going to be flawless too and none of the material even topped the best from the first cover album (BE MY BABY will always slay).

I cancelled my preorder for BV CD+Bluray. I'm not hating the album so far. However the PVs havent been good enough in my taste to bother, and the first press bonuses arent anything to make me jump up & down. For now I'm using the money they refund me on Namie's Feel Tour Bluray. Concerts take more priority for me over albums anyways and in the future once money's better I might pick up the CD Only of BV.

meh CTC was flawless in execution. A lot of her stuff is, even if the music doesn't back it up. I don't care for most of her covers anyway, so when it came to the cover albums, I was just -meh-. I actually liked 3 songs on the 2nd album, versus only 2 on the first one. |
The second may have had more material that was listenable, but I prefer quality to quantity and that's why BE MY BABY alone trumps the entire Color the cover album for me.

I liked Eternity overall more, but Shake Hip! is the best thing I've heard like, ever. I live for it.

Flawless is definitely an overused adjective, but daaamn Color The Cover was a great album. It was easily one of my favorite J-Pop albums of 2013. A lot of the songs on ETERNITY were forgettable for me, whereas with CTC, I enjoyed every track. This may be partially due to the fact that I was following Koda Kumi more closely when CTC than when ETERNITY was released, but still. I love CTC.

I like Eternity more than CTC because only 3 promoted songs in later one are my favourite, but all Eternity songs are still listenable for me especially Swallowtail Butterfly.

I can't say which cover album I love more because for me both are equally amazing. Both of them has great songs in them so it's hard to choose. :D
And thanks for that longer version of Winner Girls. I seriously doubt it's only 2 minutes long tho. That sounded more like a radio edit version, but who knows? Kuu usually surprises me at some point anyway so... x3 I'd also like to have a rip of the song so I can listen to it before the album is out. :) |

Well, with Ayu (to me at least) she gets worse and worse music wise, so even if I really wanted to I just can't say good things about her recent music, avarage at most, while Kumi (again, to me) is getting better and better, both album and concert wise, but especially concert wise, Japonesque Tour would be flawless except for the ballad wig which was cartoonish and I didn't like how Kumi looked in it, but everything else was just so perfect. I'm so looking forward to the new album but I wish there were more new PVs, some of them are from the time she was pregnant so like one, almost two years old, and there's little new stuff.

Winner Girls is not really doing it for me, but I do think that the full song is longer. It sounds like they cut off part of the song to me.

I was expecting it to sound like Good*Day, but it turns to be less child-ish, really like it! If we have another two good up-beats tracks like SMYH and Winner Girls on this album, I'd already die of happiness. And one amazing rnb mid-tempo like Okay and No way would not hurt at all also |
Winner Girls sounds really nice, a bit better than SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA that was just nice.
But I hope that there will be really awesome album tracks. Gimme some Lay Down, ESCALATE, So Nice, Boom Boom Boys high quality, JAPONESQUE had so many and so far Bon Voyage doesn't really come close, but maybe on the way, a bit. For me, JAPONESQUE was kuu's best work since Black Cherry/~second session~ era. I mean, JAPONESQUE tops Kingdom, TRICK, UNIVERSE, feel my mind and Deja vu so it's a really hard competition. |

I actually enjoy listening to 'Winner Girls' surprisingly. :D It does sound very reminiscent of her older material but with a modern twist just like Namie's 'TSUKI'.
With the exception of 'Touchdown', none of her new songs scream "New Koda Kumi" like she mentioned in her Vivi interview. However, I think the unreleased latter half of the album will display this "evolution" that she speaks of. I guess this album will be a slow transition of her evolved sound which, in all honesty, is a smart (and most logical) move on her part. :yes |

While I was totally expecting it to be just a reenactment of the PV dance with the same outfit, I was surprised by the neck-piece that she had on. I'm guessing it was to keep her top from riding up as it did in the PV? I guess her underboob is just too much for public TV.

Nice performance, the only bad thing imo was the camera which didnt show the best parts of the dance and kept on going wheter too far from her and the dancers or just focusing on her face. The stage also was a bit too big for it, they should have gone for something simpler like in the PV. But in what concerns Kuu herself, no flaws seen :heart

I've read from somewhere else that she just shot the PV for "LOL" yesterday as well. Everything about this album seems so "last minute" it's ridiculous. I just hope the quality doesn't suffer. :(
