Has anyone ever paid attention to the lyrics in feel me & Till Morning Comes from affection? A line from feel me: Baby, come inside of me, feel it! and from Till Morning Comes: I want you to make me come. I remember someone saying that Kumi started writing naughty lyrics with SHAKE IT but nope, she's been doing that since the very beginning. I wish she performed feel me one day, such a fantastic song.

They are celebrating the past winners, and the good part of that is that she won with Yume no Uta, so we might have a Yume no Uta performance after so long.

NEVER ENOUGH reminds me of NO ME WITHOUT YOU, like a happier version of it. It's the same composer after all. I do like it but it sounds more like a b-side material for a summer single rather than an a-side winter ballad but it is what it is. Oh well, I still have my WOL with you, Yume no Uta, stay with me, Koishikute, etc.

NEVER ENOUGH doesn't sound like a summer ballad to me. More autumn-ish.

It's decent, but the mixing is really bad.

I was hoping I would like this song, but nope, that did not happen :( Out of the three singles, I only kinda liked HUSH. LIT and NEVER ENOUGH didn't do anything for me tbh. It's a shame 'cause I wasn't amazed by W FACE nor I'm amazed by these singles.

^hands is still one of her best ballads (for me), agree on Unmei and Aishou though.
Never been a fan of Kiseki or a strong listener of MORE. She kills them all live though.

Kuu's take on ballads in recent years surprised me - in a good way. Overall I like her newer ballads much more than her old ones (e.g. I've never been such a big fan of hands, Ai no Uta and Yume no Uta to name three of her most popular). There are some gems in her past for me as well of course (like Unmei or Aishou or Anata dake ga).
W FACE inside has about the same amount of gems for me than her past though, lol. Which was the most surprising to me. I guess I prefer her more mature take now (in themes as well as in the way the ballads are built).
And maybe also because she's more controlled now with singing them. The last 2 years of vocal training she started with her 15th Anniversary definitely shows.

I also really like NEVER ENOUGH (apart from that mixing problem). From the atmosphere and the part of the lyrics I understand it reminds me of On my way. Just in a more positive manner.
The "Ikiru imi" part as a climax before the end gives me some chills.

Imo NEVER ENOUGH is a pretty solid ballad, not one of my most favourite but one of the kind that I will listen to from time to time. Out of the last three singles LIT is the best song in my opinion but HUSH and NEVER ENOUGH are both good as well.

And yes, Unmei is really a gem from her, one of my favourite ballads from her

Recently, I usually have low expectation to her ballad PVs. The last one I was impressed is Kimi Omoi. Never Enough goes beyond my thought that it is worse. At least, I wish she would go outside studio, even walking scene might make it would be better. However, the song is so beautiful with clearer version.

Ai no uta again, how sad.

I would like to know how Japanese fans think about how Ai no Uta is overperformed. Are they happy to listen to it often? Actually, even Yume no Uta is taboo song but she has a ton of good ballads to pick, even Ai wo Tomenaide that I don't like much probably better :(

From the comments I've read this time, Japanese fans are happy, cause they love the song.
Japanese tend to voice the positive in a situation in general - in this case, that Kuu is performing on TV on a honorable show. Her voice sounds normal to me btw.
I do hope she's singing NEVER ENOUGH on TV on Wednesday!

For the PV of NE - let's just hope it's not a 'dark' version of BRIDEGT SONG PV.
The short version is missing two whole minutes.

Ahh it'll almost always be Ai no Uta or Butterfly, just like in Ayu's case it's almost always SEASONS or evolution. You just gotta accept it as what it is. She'll most likely sing Ai no Uta at FNS as well, she did in 2015 so maybe this time it will be Butterfly.

I really want to know the meaning of Never Enough. I have thought it would be Break-Up song but the way she sings it in PV looks happy. Even though I don't like PV much, this is one of her great ballad I am appreciated especially when she hits that note as well as she did for Koishikute.

I don't think there's actual ban, 'cause she performed it in Taiwan in 2010 and it was also featured in a bonus video in BEST SINGLE COLLECTION last year. If it was actual plagiarism case she wouldn't have been able to put it on WINTER of LOVE either.

She looked great at that performance, but I can't stand the way she sings Ai no Uta!
She has been pulling it behind tempo, almost trying to make it grander and more dramatic for many years now. When you go back and listen to the original recording, it's much peppier, and has a bright, skipping heart quality to it. It's a quicker tempo than most of her other ballads, but she doesnt sing it that way live.
Her voice sounds fine there to me too though. Not like she has a cold or anything.

The whole Yume no Uta thing is really too bad. :( That's one of my favourite ballads from her, and I'd love to hear it live again.

It’s funny, “never enough” is how I would describe Kuu’s ballads as of late. And this latest one fits the bill, imo. Her Engrish is what really puts the nail in the coffin for me.

NEVER ENOUGH gives me Beyonce's 1+1 in 1991 with Can't Let Go from Mariah Carey, because of the over-the-topness. Love the song and the PV, it's simple but the fact that is one single shot makes it more interesting.

About FNS, I wasn't expecting her to sing NEVER ENOUGH, this is not a place for her to sing her brand new song, bu gurl... Give Ai no Uta a rest. This is the fourth time she performs Ai no Uta there, we know it's your signature song, but you do have some other hits like you, Moon Crying, Suki de Suki de Suki de. I'm just not that upset because she also sang another song.

I still hate the way she sings Ai no Uta since 2012, dragging the notes. Nowadays it's like she doesn't know how to sing this song without doing it.

^whut? yume no uta plagiarized two songs by two different artist, one of which is aiko who is pretty huge. I think it came to light years after and I don't think it was that big of a deal, but fans do think Kumi is avoiding the song (apart from concerts) for that reason

They're limited singles, so they don't count towards Oricon or any other physical chart.

mu-mo's weekly / daily ranking is the only place where any of 3 singles could have "charted". I just checked and NEVER ENOUGH doesn't appear even in the weekly physical ranking, even though it came out less than a week ago. It is, however, at #7 ringtones daily & at #3 ringtones weekly. The full version is also at #7 weekly.
