Amazing to see that Minazo is doing her nails again. It looks as though all of her old male managers aren't with her anymore as well. She used to be attached at the hip to many of them!

Oh my goodness...this release is so glorious. I totally feel a lot of love poured into it. Everything is perfect, starting from the concert and ending with the deluxe edition.

I'm so excited for it! Can't wait to finally hold it in my hands - this release is the best in long long time.

now I kind of wish they were properly released as a Double A-side single, with a CD+DVD release. the two songs are so different but I think they "go" next to each other really well actually :laugh

Is the version with the Ohia no Ki and DaD singles counted on that?

Should be since mu-mo and TA sales will usually factor in but possibly also at a lower percentage due to how Oricon counts things. They are weird about FC-editions, but the super limited one was also mu-mo so could have been aided by the single being in there.

FC and mu-mo special editions are fully counted as long as they run under the same title.
So, yes, they should be.

lol Timmy said on his IG live that the mixing of the Promise Land DVD "could have been better".

Not really, someone commented that they couldn't really hear him or the girl (i forget her name, sorry...) on the DVD and Timmy read the comment out loud before giving a shady side look and saying the mixing could have been better.

Tbh I don't find a live on Instagram a good place to share such opinion. I even find it quite awkward. I saw a part of this chat and it was a really nice thing to participate in but wasn't he drinking some booze? That could affect his mind a bit although it might have been a nonalcoholic drink. Nevertheless, even if he hadn't had a chance to make his remarks during the production process now it's just strange to hear it, shortly after a DVD with him is out.

It doesn't feel like a big deal. Not every fan is as involved as to follow one of Ayu's backup singer and watch out for his comments.

I'm glad that he isn't a yes-man and saying everything is perfect.

If anything, the question seemed to be more about being able to hear Timmy and in that respect it probably was not mixed "well" but otherwise it seems perfect to hear Ayu anyway. Could have been more of a joke too.

for me, the worst-mixed concert of hers in recent years is 2013's A BEST LIVE.

I wanted to make some mp3 rips of the concert (I find the official live CD just so awful because everything is muffled), but when I tried processing the BluRay audio it's the exact same problem.

The original comment was about not being able to hear his vocals in the choruses.

He's often been able to critique things though, he's not been shy about past costume designs that were a bit "iffy" for him.

^ It's a really weird video. The uploader cut out plenty of songs for some reason. I feel it's taking a bit longer than usually for us to see a DVD/BD rip this time around.

The reason is this CDL in 12/31 show have a Hong Kong fans in auditorium lift a paper with mark "Hong Kong is not China，Free Hong Kong" , DVD/BD some song has take this Hong Kong fans in video，so the Chinese uploader cut out

I was watching and "identity" was the only song I felt was missing. But I'm gonna be vigilant about the rest.

Tbh this is a better scenario than if you pay for the shipping, they ship it, but EMS is banned right before your parcel leaves japan, so it gets returned to tenso and you have to pay for the shipping again.. happened to some of my friends with some of their parcels from korea back in March

Umm... that's exactly what happened. My package was shipped from tenso, dispatched from the outward office of exchange and that's the latest status that's been there for days. So now I should assume your scenario will take place.

I've been able to use DHL express for Buyee, which is another company of Tenso, but it was VERY expensive (about $180 AUD), so I'm guessing it will be similar if they ship from tenso.

Hopefully the shipping problems aren't too bad for much longer!

I have the same issue. It was dispatched but never reached Switzerland. And I checked if Switzerland was banned from EMS, but it’s not the case. So I don’t know if my parcel is on hold somewhere because of the COVID or if they just lost it :(

My package sent with EMS took what seemed to be forever to arrive, it was forever stuck on the tracking too. But it finally arrived today, with me having to pay 49€ of customs taxes :)))))

Although with standard delivery you don't have insurance and tracking. With mail being so sketchy right now i think it is safe to pay for tracking even if you can't have the express speed.

Yeah, I think it's more worth it to have the insurance/tracking as opposed to the package just poofing somehow.

On the TV-version I found myself two times, from the preview they released I found myself another time. When I get my copy in a few days I'll look for myself again. Fun to show friends that you're a small part of a huge audience.

Must be really nice to see yourself! They focus on the foreign fans a lot in the TV and DVD/BD versions it seems. I wonder if the cameramen do so naturally or if they're asked to occasionally do that with various shots.

Yeah, January 1st was usually the day she would announce something personal. Wasn't it? Didn't she announced she got married and/or that she was going full deaf on January 1st?

Usually in the past the reason was because she also had a release coming out at the time. It would also take advantage of the 2 weeks for the last "week" of the year saleswise to maximize "first week" sales. That was also why a lot of people thought that with every release, something scandalous would also be mentioned since glitter/fated and how the Nagase breakup was announced JUST before that release. And a lot f releases after that had something that was 'big news' alongside an album or single but the single "news" was not as common.
