Has anyone had luck using a middle man service for tickets? I wanted to buy some from ticket.co.jp but my card wasn't accepted (probably from registering with a fake address and number). The normal middle men I've used won't purchase since it's QR code in ANYPASS (which I have), and not a physical ticket.

Her vocal is so good

Looks like being in the hall makes her vocal sound so much better. She can hear herself better, and the hall usually has a better room acoustics quality compared to the arena. Less echo

I won the CDL 31 Dec tickets! Just to check, as the tickets are from live pocket, how do I know my seat number from the tickets? Is there something I need to do to exchange for a tickets??

you have to pick up your tickets from the desk at the venue.

_dandy_ 23rd September 2023 04:09 PM

I'm taking for granted there'll be a Blu-ray release of this tour...any official word on this?

And making the CDL part of some exclusive package you can only get from some online store that is only in Japanese is undercutting their reach.

Usually we don't get any official announcements until
We can know that for example first chapter will not be released, only if people who will attend it report that they didn't saw recording cameras

brener 26th September 2023 03:57 PM

^ that is so sad... i did have hopes avex would release a luxury limited box with act I, II and III + CDL

hopefully they'll release act III + CDL

I am currently in Japan and want to join the concert in Kanagawa. Do you think, I get a ticket at the venue? Does they sell leftover tickets or do I have to buy a ticket in advance? Maybe, some of you have experience.

zellyx 30th September 2023 05:03 AM

Hey no way I am in Tokyo right now too if you wanted to meet!
Sadly I want the same tickets and having no luck. It is so complicated. :( I feel like I may need to come back next year if I can get the lottery for act 3 (you need a Team Ayu account in that TA app to apply). Does anyone know when the act 3 lottery starts?

Right, sorry, but is there a way to get reseller tickets? Or from those who can't attend? In the USA anyways it is fairly common to have people trying to sell a few tickets over Facebook or somewhere else, and sometimes you can get tickets from someone standing outside the venue.

I guess from someone standing outside is the only chance. I don´t think there is an official anypass sale this time. "officialy" re-selling the tickets is forbidden.

Is the ACT 3 stop selling?

I just registered livepocket and look at the site. it said "all seats reserved"
I thought the lottery period will be running from Oct 2 - Oct 9.
So does that mean there's no chance to buy the Act 3?

Thinking of applying to CDL tickets and need some advice, maybe somebody could help me.
I actually do live in Japan and used AnyPASS for previous shows. But this time, having registered anew in the app, I wonder if I could apply as a foreign TA? The reason is - I would really prefer to have paper ticket this time as a memorabilia.
I can show my passport at the venue but do they check your visa/residence status? Or just do a name check?

You’d have to change your country. They checked my name and my passport. They never asked me about visa/residence status. In any case, act like a tourist. :D

Thanks! I have managed to download the app and pay for 1 month plan without specifying that I live in Japan anywhere… I guess when applying for the tickets I should use VPN?

Both performances in Hyogo & Kyoto (Oct. 8 & 10) are postponed due to worsening ill health

source: https://natalie.mu/music/news/544157

Microsoft Edge free English translation:

Among Ayumi Hamasaki's nationwide tour "ayumi hamasaki 25th Anniversary Live Tour", it has been announced that the performances at the Kobe International Conference Center in Hyogo on October 10 and the ROHM Theater Kyoto performances in Kyoto on October 8 will not be held.

Hamasaki has been suffering from throat problems and poor physical condition since the beginning of October, when the performance at the Kanagawa Kenmin Hall in Kanagawa was held. "When I was examined by the doctor, I was told that it was acute pharyngitis and acute sinusitis." At the moment, Hamasaki is not in a state where she can speak and is not in good physical condition to perform live, so the decision to postpone the concert was decided at the discretion of management.

Hamasaki herself was not satisfied with this postponement and still wants to hold a performance. However, the management side judged that it could interfere with Hamasaki's future activities, and came to this decision.

Transfer performances are being arranged. Details on ticket refunds will be announced later on Hamasaki's fan club app and official website.

The "ayumi hamasaki 25th Anniversary Live Tour" is Hamasaki's first tour to 47 prefectures. On the 25th anniversary of her debut, she started in July to express her gratitude to fans nationwide, and is scheduled to run for a long time until March 7. In addition, this tour consists of acts 2024~3, with different set lists and productions.

YOU ARE SO LUCKY
At first I was scared if I haven't been selected so I thought should I choose more than one venue?

But I don't have money enough so I just bet my life with one chance.

See you at Tottori hope we will have time to talk :)

Just leaving Hiroshima now :) I can’t decide which set list I prefer (act 1 or 2) but honestly No way to say alone makes me lean towards act 2 lol. I loved the winter instrumental medley too, though I personally would’ve done Nwts then MOON.

Her voice was pretty good! I had bad seats this time, but enjoyed it a lot. Much better venue location than the Chiba one.

I wouldn't count on it. She will probably have the A STRINGS at CDL, so only live violins(like last year).
At least since Trouble tour 5 years ago she almost never has live band, apart from a few rare shows that were exceptions - including this year's Anniversary show in April.
I might be wrong but I think she first dropped the band for TA tour in 2016? There are many speculations as to why this happened but I personally believe more in budget restrictions. Fewer shows per year in Arenas, long tours are mostly in smaller venues - it means that revenue is also not what it was until 2015. (Btw, number of back vocalists increased a lot compared what it was 10-15 years ago as well. ) I think there was a choice of either paying to have a band, or paying dancers or having dancers and amateur musicians on band (which are cheaper), and TA management made the choice.
Not sure how apex manages live band contracts, but for other major artists in Japan they get paid per show and it is quite expensive to have a live band supporting a major act.

brener 18th October 2023 05:00 PM

^ makes sense, a live band needs a lot more rehearsals as well, logistics are more expensive too..

it's quite comprehensible, though i'd love so much to watch her perform an acoustic set with guitars and piano

When I went to the venue, I picked up my tickets and found out my seat #. You’ll have to show your passport based on the name you registered for the tickets. Hope this helps and good luck!! Hi dear, I am from Singapore as well. I signed up as a teamayu member, then there will be an email that will be sent. Using the link, you can sign up via livepockect to bid for tickets. As I signed up before Oct, I didn’t have to do the mobile authentication thing. What I think is u have to enable overseas sms via ur mobile service so you can send over the otp to authenticate. I hope this helps.

if anyone else is going for NY, let's meet up! I'll be travelling alone and would love to meet fellow fans :):)

Any other ways I can get tickets?

^ Typically you'll go to the TA Booth before the show opens, and you'll show them your livepocket confirmation + passport, and then they'll give you a paper ticket that has your actual seat information on it.

Ok thanks!!! I bought 3 tickets. So only I have to bring my passport rite? The other 2 members don’t have to rite?

And last question, I will only know my seats on the day itself?

voltron 27th October 2023 05:57 PM

^ Yep, exactly. They'll give you all the tickets directly, and that's when you'll find out your seats as well.

I admittedly know nothing about the process here, but generally you only show a *passport* to someone who has the authority to refuse you access to a country, and has the power to, simply put, kick you out. A foreigner showing up at a concert venue has already had his identity checked, and security guards at a concert venue have no such authority. So it seems wrong to me to have to show a passport, of all things, to get into a concert...

Personally, the only thing I'd show to anyone at a concert venue is the ticket I purchased. I wouldn't show any ID to anyone at a concert other than to have my age verified, if that was a necessity.

But then, I'm no traveler, and I know nothing about local laws.

I can’t tell if you’re being deliberately obtuse or not but the reason you need to show your passport when you pick up the ticket(s) at the venue is exactly that — for identification. They want to make sure the person who purchased the tickets is the one picking them up. A passport is a more than reasonable form of identification in this instance because staff would be unfamiliar with things like drivers licenses issued overseas, whereas passports are pretty cut and dry.

No one is saying you need to show proof that you’re legally in the country to be admitted to a concert venue. FFS.

This isn’t a Japan thing either; damn near any venue in any country will ask you to show ID if you’re picking up tickets at will call, and this is exactly the same principle.

If you’re that opposed to needing to show an ID to pick up tickets you purchased for a show then might I suggest you stay home?

I just wonder one thing
What if my TA membership is expired before the concert date, can I still receive my ticket at TA International booth?

You were a member at the point when you applied and paid for the ticket, so it’s fine.

hi, I am so sorry to ask this.
after so many years (almost 20 lol) I finally have money and time to go Japan for travels.

I'd like to buy a ticket for a January show (and asking for a friend who wants to go to CDL):

- is there a step by step guide on purchasing concert tickets for Ayu while overseas?

Tickets aren’t currently on sale for Act 3 of the tour and it’s not clear if they will be made available again — there were already two rounds of sales for the fanclub and the LINE lottery ended on Oct 31st. If you want to buy something right now then your only option is to find a ticket available for resale.

Your friend who wants to go to CDL is in luck as tickets for both dates are still available through mu-mo ticket. This is the link: https://shop.mu-mo.net/avx/sv/tourDe...ption=-1&area=

In both cases, whether you’re buying through a resale site or directly from mu-mo ticket, you need to have an AnyPASS account set up first and to do so must download the app, as this is how you’ll receive your ticket which you’ll obviously need to scan to get into the venue.

If you don’t speak Japanese I can’t in good conscience recommend you try navigating the resale process yourself; I would reach out to a proxy like https://www.bridge.jpn.com/ to see if they’re willing to help.

The move to digital tickets has made the resale process a lot more difficult for foreigners to navigate, but your friend can probably purchase directly from mu-mo without a middleman. Be aware that those tickets are first come first serve so once mu-mo sells out, they’re gone, and the only remaining option would be resale.

How do I get notification for LINE lottery? I received email notification from them for previous concerts but not this time, so I missed the lottery this time.

I don’t know what you mean; if you follow her on LINE then the announcement about the lottery with the application link and the relevant dates would have just come through like a normal LINE message.

Sometimes if you haven’t opened the app in a while it might stop sending you notifications.

All you should need is some proof of purchase to demonstrate a proper transaction took place. <i>Personal</i> identification is no-one's business; we're not talking about buying restricted material here. That's all I'm saying. I view a password as a social security number, something you only show when asked by a government entity.

If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. Just not "obtuse".

The thing is, ticket scalping has been booming these past few years. The resale is done with excessive prices, also reselling tickets that are exclusive to fan clubs. If the transfer of tickets is done legally, then everything is fine. In Japan right now resale is partly illegal, the best way to check that the person who bought the tickets is the one who is entering is to ask for the passport.

You are also not showing an ultra private document, the passport as Choco says, is the best way to confirm your identity. I don't think it's a violation of privacy to make sure the person who bought the ticket is the one entering.

It is done for security for the artist, for oneself and for those around them.

Also, you have to make it easier for forensic examiners to recognize corpses. Joke.

tokyoxjapanxfan 13th November 2023 04:09 PM

Japan requires recognized IDs for proof of purchase. As a foreigner, you don’t have Japan issued IDs, so your only proof is a passport, because it’s an internationally recognized document. Japanese people don’t know what every other countries IDs look like or any way to verify that they’re real, but they do understand that passports are official.

If you had a JP ID, you could use something much less in terms of ranking, like an insurance card.

No, I'll stick with "obtuse", thanks. You're willfully misunderstanding what people are saying to you.

Proof of purchase is not enough. When is the last time you were able to check into a hotel without showing form of identification? Or rent a car?

They need you to prove your identity through a recognizable document. This is not a difficult thing to understand.

Maybe they recorded parts of the Gunma show because of the Halloween Special encore
