"Kizuna" is a great song. So sad. ;_; I haven't seen many performances, but I liked the one where Kame started singing alone after which Jin came on stage and then the others. I think it was a SC performance?

I remember that was one of the rumors prior to the reveal of the single's tracklist. It's entirely possible it'll end up on either a single or their next full-length album.

there's a lot of factors to their popularity! they were initially a temporary backdancing group for Domoto Koichi & the KinKi Kids (you can see them in old KinKi Kids performances. SO CUTE!). they were formed back in 2001, creating a solid fanbase since then. made their "singing debut" at Tackey & Tsubasa's Hatachi con 2002. Jin/Kame in Gokusen 2. of course, there's Shuuji to Akira w/ Kame/Pi. their DVD "Live Kaizokuban" was a top-seller (it's in the Top 10 of overall best-selling Music DVDs!). they also had another Live DVD (i can never remember the title, it's so long!) & Photobook. and this was ALL PRIOR to the debut. it's quite amazing, ne? they've shattered all sorts of records when they were still Johnny's Juniors. and of course, their debut last year broke some more records.

i know Arashi #4 & KAT-TUN #5. there are more within the top 20, but the list i have is outdated. K8, NEWS, KinKi Kids are on it though.

"Keep the faith" has Yukan Club tie-in, dwango.jp tie-in, & not to mention Himuro Kyosuke of BOOWY wrote AND composed the song. just the fact that its KAT-TUN brings in sales as well.

and from a non-biased JE opinion, if i didn't listen to KAT-TUN or JE in general, I would've liked the song AND single anyway. the lyrics are really uplifting and positive, the composition/arrangement's pretty good and the b-sides are great! all the members sound really good in the songs, not just Jin.

i want to add that this is the first single that actually captures the essence of KAT-TUN, imo. i'm really reminded of why I like them in the first place when I listen to this single. it would've fit in with their Johnny's Juniors routine, seeing how the lyrics fit in with their hardships and all. ok, i'm done rambling. XD

I completely agree that it's a song that I would've liked regardless of whether or not I was into KAT-TUN. Actually, if it weren't for KAT-TUN in general, I probably wouldn't have listened to any Johnny's acts.

Have you seen the clip of the guys talking about "Keep the Faith" in a short Music Fighter clip? They seemed to agree that the song really embodies them as a group (and of course Kame was bright enough to note that the song was also cleverly written so it ties into "Yuukan Club").

In a random note, I got a new MOTORIZR phone and have "Keep the faith" as my ringtone. Yay for mp3 compatability!
