NEW UPDATES REGARDING THE BOAT(and its NOT a fishing boat):


Someone posted that before the boat comes out the whole stage BECAME DARK and the screen on the centre stage disappeared all of a sudden AND the curtain falls down with illuminations on the stage...and immediately a video was showed on the side screens and got everyone attentions...and just by the video ends,the curtain opens suddenly again with the HUGE boat with the A mark(a bit pirate ship feel) appear on the centre stage that shocked everyone...because it was really big and extravagant...and apparently a lot of people were saying that the BOAT looked really cool and huge and the had no idea how ayu will to shift the boat to oversea for her oversea tour~haha

Nope.. don't like the tracklist. It's too short.. for starters... some songs are not interesting and will already give you that cliche feeling (HANABI, which will probably have the cliche dancing) and some songs really aren't that good to be in a tracklist for an anniversary (my name's women)

If the performances are original and good, I might consider buying it.. but based on the tracklist.. I say no

The ship seems to be very royal though. I remember someone describing it as to be royal. It doesn't seem to go with the bsdm theme mentioned earlier. =O

Someone said that (d)leave me alone had an SM theme going on. That sounds extreme, but that description kind of fits AT05 GAME/my name's WOMEN and AT07 1LOVE/until that Day too, and those weren't sleezy/SMish. So I'm kind of like omg please Ayu don't lick the whip or go all Madonna Like a Virgin/Koda Kumi Selfish. If I want sleezy I'll watch Koda, but I want classy stuff from my Ayu. XD I just don't identify myself with sleezy stuff much, which is why I only listen to Koda for "fun". Not for power/encouragement to do stuff or something..If you know what I mean. Sleezy stuff comes and goes, but the real classy performances always stay. ^-^

Apparently Ayu wore the black beret from Mirrorcle World during the encore. :D

hiroshi-ben detailed in an earlier post that the entire stage goes dark and a video plays on the side screens as some curtains fall down.. and then then the lights come back on, the boat is there.

i wonder in what way Mirrorcle World will be performed on a boat..

and since the stage set up is somewhat a mixture of AT 07 and CDL 0708, it means the amount of audience able to watch the concert will be less than usual since more space is used up for the stage.

So is the stage somewhat like the steps set up ayu always used?

^ the first thing when I read BOAT i come to think of Kumi...but as i go through the posts, some one said that it's different with kumi pirate theme, so i'm a bit relieved..and WOW..for the boat and the carousel..

I wonder if the stage is like that, can the HK coliseum even fit the stage~

its hardly an original idea for either kumi or ayu. Loads of people have pirate themes so i really don't care. ayu and ku are in a totally different league when it comes to concerts anyway

still i'm happy with the tracklist and if ayus vocals are good then so much the better :D

To be fair Ayu was building towards this, if you watch the tour of secret Yoshi is wearing a pirate hat and the dancers outfits are very much PoTC what the English dudes wear.

tbqh, Koda's outfit for the opening of her tour is an exact replica of Subaru's outfit from AT07. XD

when ppl watching AT07, they would say that Ayu always repeated the same theme..like the cage that has been used over and over again.. the cross in the middle... the hydrolic stage in the middle... blabla..
then for this AT08 Ayu came out with a new fresh idea, the pirate and mermaid themes, some ppl again complain about that again and again..and even said ayu copied kuu~

Maybe the idea was planned before the perfomance in Tokyo Dome, but the idea of the TOKYO DOME perfomances was planned many many time ago ! Because the final was in a DOME, so lots work !!

I doubt the producers would share their ideas with AYU out of all people. So it's probable that both parties dont even know about each other's concerts.

After watching the BC Documentary, you can see that the whole stage was there SINCE the beginning of the tour, including the Boat and the videos. It seems that everything was the same from the normal tour and the Final, except that there was way more people. The main stage isn't that big. And there's a simple reason for that. The Final at Tokyo Dome was added really late, the tour had began, so they didn't have time to add something new, just some platforms and elevators. It's obvious in the doc.

So i reallly hope the Ayu Ship ISN'T a pirates one, i will be very disapointed to be honest, but guys just have to keep in mind that the whole ideas of the concerts, at least for this two artists aren't from them. Avec have designers, stylists and so on, you can see in some Docs, that they are really surprised when they see the whole stage in the arena. The artists are there to perform, so they rehears, and maybe add 2-3 minors ideas, but the main work isn't made by hers.

So, if the stage look like ku's one, i will blame AVEX, not Ayu.

Ayu did involve in every details.. but i don't blame ayu because i don't find her a copycat *though Ayu's previous AT02 performance did look the same like Madonna's and other AT(s) too, but i didn't blame her for that because she admired Madonna, so why not she did something resembled to Madonna as long as it was not all the same*
