actually before the PV for Rocket Sneaker came out , I had high hopes for her new single to perform decently but after I saw the PV , my hopes kinda dashed :(

The only song I've ever liked less because of the PV was Ayu's Born to be and Mirrorcle World. :/ Also, many of Hikki's PVs, because they're so boring. XD

But on a different note, I have a question to ask you long-time Ai fans: I became a fan of Ai right after she released CHU-LIP (Feb 2007, I believe), so the first time I ever saw her she had blonde hair. I thought that's what she looked like. :laugh When I saw her with brown hair I was really weirded out. I just assumed she always had blonde hair. >_< But for you people who had never seen her with blonde hair, what did you guys think?

The last two singles really were not good AT ALL. I have liked Ai for a long time, but I can't say I have listened to any of the new songs (including b sides) more than 5 times each... if that. I know it sounds like I'm not giving them a chance... but I really just do not like them. Its a shame because LOVE PiECE was her best album IMO.

I havent listened to many of Ai's songs apart from ones from her drama Tokyo freinds XD TBH im not that bigger expert, but she has a cute voice, good attitude and shes really pretty. sometimes her songs can be a bit messy, but overall they are cute and have a good lively beat. I shud listen to Rocket and some of her more recent songs to see if they are as good as songs like Peach etc.

I still think she should have made a PV for One x Time

The PV for Rocket Sneaker was quite low budget & etc

if Avex were to give her a bigger budget to make PVs for both songs , it probably can sell well

I dunno, her PVs have never seemed to be something so amazing or anything but before they were simple and nice. Like Daisuki da yo, it was a simple but adorable PV that brought out the emotions. Even CHU-LIP and PEACH weren't that high-budget but had a fun element that made the viewer wanna watch. The PV for Rocket Sneaker was just...weird...I couldn't even sit through the whole thing once X_X

PV for Daisuki da yo was boring , I almost fell asleep watching it

I only watched Rocket Sneaker once & that's it for me

Some of her PVs are really nice & entertaining like Yumekui (even though techincally she's not there in the cartoon) , Planetarium (I still love this song/PV til now . It helps that ever since I watched the 1st season of Hana Yori Dango , I appericate the song more than ever)

Everything about that single is perfect for me! The single covers [OMG, GORGEOUS] + the songs [A-side makes me cry, B-side is awesome too] + the PV [too adorable for words]

I agree; daisukidayo was a WONDERFUL single! Amazing in every way. And the PV had me tearing up, too, Amai. :P I really wish we had some subbed Ai PVs. The lyrics are always so amazing; and they make it 100 times more enjoyable to listen to/watch, especially if you can understand what they're saying AS they're saying it. :P

I just don't see Ai as really the experimental type. :shrug It's sad but I just don't ever see her really changing her style or trying out new ones. That's not to say that she still can't make wonderful material with her current style, it's just that I don't see her really going into hard rock or B&B, for example. :laugh

As for this next single, as much as I LOVE Cherish and Yumekui (does anyone know what that means? [haha, and I'm usually the one answering the Japanese questions. XD :laugh Well, ya can't know everything. XD]), I just don't know if I want a ballad quite yet. I don't want an extremely happy peppy song, either; but I think I'd prefer that over a ballad right now. It's just that I feel we didn't really quite get a peppy song this year, and I always relate ballads to the winding down of the song year...and winter. XD It's still too nice outside to be having ballads! XD Another mid-tempo song (yet more peppy than Rocket Sneaker) would be really great, for me in my opinion. :P That's just what I'd like personally, but I can totally see how a lot of you guys would like a ballad. :yes

I dunno, to me Ai's not that experimental in music. I dunno, she did have a few songs out of the norm (Yumekui, Cherish, 5:something AM,) but most of her songs falls under two category. Not that I mind, I think most of them are pretty good, but I'm really tired of the happy, peppy songs. (I understand that she's an optimistic person, but the few darker songs she produced were really nothing short of amazing IMO)
