I listened to KAT-TUN III -QUEEN OF PIRATES- because Karen told me it would be the best to start with. So I listened to the album and I must say I am now a full-fledged KAT-TUN. Couldn't stand them before. IDK why.

MOTHER / FATHER the best thing to happen to my ears since all of Yuna Ito's ballads, Days, and Sparkle. I love this song if I could I would marry it. It is that good. AFFECTION, Karen and Eirynne (it's okay I used your name right? y/n?) seem to like it and because it was Eirynne who got Karen into KAT-TUN and in turn she converted me into a fan I gave it another go.

And I say, it sounds okay. But it can still go die in a fire.

To be honest I though this was going to be a waste of time since they only do like rock music and I hate rock with a passion, save some Ayumi songs and some other songs. But it was a good listen and yeah I'm so buying their fourth album. :yes

i think you should give "Best of KAT-TUN" a really good spin. QOP is my personal favorite, lol, but most people seem to prefer BoKT more. it's more on the pop side, with "RHODESIA" & "Real Face #1" being only the songs that are similar to today's KAT-TUN's releases (aka "rock"). i don't really regard KAT-TUN as rock as in like, j-rock, but idol rock-pop at best. :)

i love "Bokura...", ballad version of "Le ciel", etc. but generally, i don't listen to their ballads as much. as Aga said, they can come off quite cheesy sometimes. i have to be in the ~mood~, but i also think they don't sound as good vocally in ballads than in their upbeat ones. i think only Jin sounds good. LOL.

a bit off topic but I think the LIMITED EDITION of DUES & the PV version of RESCUE should have been included in Break the Records -by you & for you- but oh well you can't win them all

& Eirynne this's going to be very embarassing on my part but I didn't know that LOVE or LIKE was cowritten by Akanishi/SPIN til I read their wikipedia page earlier on & that was confirmed after I took out the lyrics sleeve of their 2CDs cartoon KAT-TUN II you & saw Akanishi's name on it

actually, not...really. i just like the song "LOVE or LIKE". :laugh but Jin helping with lyrics is great too. SPIN was? rumored to be Ueda, but i don't think it is. since...Ueda's work...is under his name. haha.

MEH. the LE is out of stock at YesAsia. so i think i'll have to settle for the Normal Edition. LOL. it's not a huge loss though, since i'm in it for the music. ;) (& there's always the OS presses!)

however, i will be angry if the album artwork is amazing. LMAO.

LOVE or LIKE - I couldn't remember how the song sounded like at all but I like it now :D

I think it's cool that Akanishi had a hand in cowriting it with SPIN

it's a bit funny that the covers are not out yet considering that it's less than 2 1/2 weeks before it drops

IKR. the non-existent covers are one of the reasons i kinda held back pre-ordering. xD since i know we're getting a special booklet for the LE, but since cKTIIY's booklet, i was hesitant.

I'm quite 60% sure that both editions will be imported to be sold here in due time since the LE doesn't have a DVD this time round like in the case of QoP

I remembered the local HMV importing the OS press/CD only of QoP to be sold here & they also did it for NEWS's colour for both editions , be it OS or Japan press

I guess it's only a matter on whether should I decide to get 1 based on the booklet or the bonus track or maybe both :roflmao

the 1st part of 1582 was a bit ?? but after that , O_O

the panting/sucking sounds were :dead2 but after I got over that , it was :smitten

frankly I still think nothing beats Kizuna & let alone someday for somebody but 1582's something different that Kame brought to the music plate

I really thought that it might be another w/o notice ?? (which I prayed NO cos while I think the song's amusing/cute on all levels but I want him to do something serious/angsty again) but thankfully HELL NO :laugh

With Kame dishing out 1582 , he more or less proven to me on why he deserves to be co lead vocalist of the group alongside with Akanishi

but yeah that's just my 2 cents though cos at the end of the day , I 1st go for their music for every single artiste I support , be it Johnny or non Johnny wise . I will be pissed if they're all good looking but are tone deaf

i don't think "1582" has Kame's best vocal abilities. but music-wise, i personally think it's one of his best. it's very experimental & probably one of his more "darker" songs. the lyrics are very different from usual Kame also.

i felt with "w/o notice??" it was too...lounge-y? for my tastes. cute lyrics & all, but nothing too memorable otherwise...i don't like to admit it, but it's probably one of my least played solos from the DUES solo series.

my favorite is "Kizuna" & "Hanasanaide Ai" (but i really hate his voice in "Hanasanaide Ai", LOL.)

talking about the solos in DUES , my least played one's Tanaka's PARASITE cos it really scared me then & now :dead2

doesn't help that with lyrics like I Eat U it's just T_T

ugh just yesterday I saw it on YA and I was going to preorder it but I saw these other cds on ebay and got tempted.....I should of preordered KAT-TUN instead :( The only other place I found the LE was PlayAsia but that website is kinda sketchy <_<.

Also are booklet pics for KAT-TUN's second album really that bad? I've never seen them.

I don't know why, but i like CTKT2U's booklet. But i really don't like QoP's lol However, i don't really care about a booklet, so...

haha when I 1st opened the booklet for QoP when I ordered the OS press / CD + DVD , I was shocked to find no pics on it . I thought what happened

& then I downloaded the CD only scans of it & lmao they looked like toys figurines :lmfao

actually, i don't really have a problem with the outfits or whatever for the cKTIIY booklet, it's just...the whole "color in the hair" idea....etc. it really ruined it for me. D: it looks tacky.

"SADISTIC LOVE" definitely sounds great in full. it's similar to "7 DAYS BATTLE" but toned-down & less energetic. it's a great album track, IMO. i wannnttt the otherrr trackssss. OKAY JE, YOU CAN RELEASE THOSE ALBUM COVERS NAO.

btw, read off LJ, that cartoon KAT-TUN's going to under-go a thematic change or something. i hope it's a good change this time. :3

He's a DoS like MatsuJun but for Ueda's case , he's the slient kind . I don't really like MatsuJun that much cos he's too frank for his own good/liking

My least fave member was the blockhead Akanishi . I had TONS of issues with him but not anymore

I might be cancelling my order of the LE for Break the records that I ordered last night from HMV Japan though cos I figure since HMV might be importing both editions over here since they have done so for both Japan / OS presses for NEWS's colour (I probably will call them next week or next weekend to confirm on this) , it more or less defeat the whole purpose in ordering it online

but you never know , I might or might not change my mind
