I have huge amounts of hate for CDJapan :no
It would be faster to fly to japan, buy the CD, stay on wakation for 2 weeks and then fly back than order from CDJapan.
also the flying there could be cheaper :roflmao :roflmao

yesasia was much safer and better packaging

personally to me other than the somewhat expensive shipping cost , CDJapan's better than YesAsia

they used really sturdy cardboard packaging to pack your stuff which's surrounded by the right amount of bubble wrap & if you order something which comes with a poster , they will use a really big cardboard box & pack it with your CD so that it wouldn't get folded

I actually have more hatred towards YesAsia as the last few orders I placed though them , meh they messed up my order if not they takes FOREVER to mail my stuff out @_@

oddly when I placed orders from YesAsia & type in my friends's addresses to be sent as pressies , it takes less than /under a week o_o as compared to me ie. 13 days T____________T

howcome my friend got his CDs crushed (like CD un usable and case in parts) from CDjapan if it's so safe?
and never anything like that with the tens of times with yesasia

I don't know , I guess it depends on whether you're lucky/unlucky when comes to CDJapan & YesAsia at the end of the day :shrug

I have never ordered something through CD Japan

from YA I got 1 item damged and for a few orders I had to pay duty :gnash

will CD Japan send that I don't have to pay duty in germany?

that I'm not sure . You should email info@cdjapan.co.jp to enquire about it since I never have to pay for such items from them & let alone from YesAsia

This will be my first order from CDJ.
I used to prefer YesAsia but I had to wait 2 weeks for my BFtour DVD to arrive.. :curse So CDJ it is.
And I'm not paying for it anyway, so idc about the high shipping costs :lech

well I honestly don't know how's MISIA's selling power's like but I hope she wouldn't pose that much of a threat to Namie on the day when both ladies's albums drop on 16th Dec

From what I read in here, its just a matter if you are lucky or not..

My experience:

CDJAPAN: I always got everything fast and safe
YESASIA: Sometimes I got cds with broken cases and ruined books (they got ruined on the travel, it was obvious) but when I ordered from them again (because they still had a limited version of an album that CDJAPAN didnt have anymore) I emailed them saying that I wanted an extra protection for free because of what happened in the latest orders and they did it =)

Luckily now I don't need to buy from online sites anymore (well at least not music) so I dont have this problems.

Anyway I also recommend HMV Japan, I bought from them when I was in Italy a couple of times.

OT: Does someone here used PLAY-ASIA for some reason? because I got a 5$ coupon that I dont need and I want to share it ^^

the worst YesAsia experience I had was when they mixed up my BREAKERZ's single order

I ordered 4 of their singles & only 3 correct titles came

the BREAKERZ single that they mixed up with was Aoyama Thelma's Soba ni Iru e o_O

When I ordered things from YA they came in very good condition and the shipping to Germany is really fast.. CDJ is also very good in packaging but I had to take my GREEN/Days package from the custom office, it was very long-winded but I didn't have to pay customs..
I think I'll order from YA again

Ya experience- good so far but slow
CD Japan experience- good as well
HMV japan (once)- delivered right after the release day in top condition ( BF tour blu-ray dvd).
I'm thinking about ordering it from HMV japan but i want more opinions on it before i make my decisions.

It doesn't matter if you used fast or normal shipment!
Packaging is with both ok, BUT i feel more comfortable with CDJapan!
I usually use YesAsia, BUT for important albums or Livd DVD's i really want i used CDJ cause they shipped your order sooner than YA!
Or when CDJ has a Bonus like Poster that you can't get from YA!

Wenn du aber was über 150€ bestellt musst du zusätzliche Steuern zahlen die in den Zollpreis dazu kommen!
Außer Kaffee, Zigaretten, Parfüm und noch 1-2 Sachen (die aber nicht besonders sind) da musst du dann die Steuer sowieso zusätzlich zahlen!

Probably I'm the only one who used HMV before in here and my opinion about HMV is positive =) but I also like CDJAPAN

HMV offers free shipping when the amount exceeds to some amount, so does yesasia but just to reassure does Cdjapan?

the only bad thing about HMV Japan to me that my orders refused to come up to my house (since I'm living in an apartment so my last few orders or so except the last order I made , I had to go to the post office to collect my parcel personally from them)

also depending on whether you like it or not , they fold posters & stuffed them inside the huge padded envelope

so regardless whether you order 1 CD or not , the same huge padded envelope's used & they only have EMS as its choice of shipping

I won't be surprised if the album will be called "Love Affairs" or something like that.
It seems that all of the tracks have things to do with love/dating.
