He is not nice :no Two fans waiting with us Thursday went to ask him if he knew Ayu was going out and he said to them: "Get lost". I don't think he'll ever do something like the French driver did :no He was the only one who was not nice to us, except the people of the hotel xD Her staff was really nice. We asked them thursday if they knew she would come out and then went inside just to ask her. After 5-10 minutes he was back and told us she might be out around 8PM. But she didn't. Something before 11PM Stan came out and told us to go home (because she wouldn't be out) and get warm.

Yeah, she is really nice :) She might live like a diva (clothes, hotel, ...), but she isn't a diva. She really loves her fans :) Yesterday evening she took the hands of some fans in her own, started rubbing them and said: "Go somewhere warm now". I still can't believe I saw her yesterday :) I regret that I had to leave today after seeing some pics of today from my friends :weep

Hey guys... it's 2am.... in UK.. and i just came back from her hotel... I did see her!! but to keep a long story short.. i will post a report about it later on... gimme like an hour.. Oh and last but not least.. Ayu came back to her Hotel around 1:20am tonight Very cold... but i got to shake her hand again and stuff.. Report will be posted later!

30th Of January!!

Ok... Like I said before... Long story kept short... As most of my reports are looong and.. mm boring :) haha... So anyways... it was a nice bright day... sunny day... but extremely cold too! I decided to not go during the day, but oh how much I regretted that! I heard since there were soo little fans... People were able to take little group photos or individual photos with ayu!! (Jealous) but hey! Can’t complain haha... anyways.. Me and my friend went to Langham Hotel and got there about... 8:30... I guess that wasn’t that bad... since it’s Ayu’s last night in London I would of thought she might come home a little early.. But oh how I was wrong about that! Soo basically we saw only 11 fans at most tonight!! Was very surprising because last night when I posted we had like at least 25 fans waiting!.. Either way at 9:30 we got told by Ayu’s staff that Ayu will be eating dinner and she won’t be back for another 2 hours... Sooo we basically did a little scram and Cronopl, Hatix and many others went to a coffee shop and me and my friend just stayed in my friend’s car to keep warm haha...

Basically after like 2 hours has gone by we got out the car and met up with everybody again... 11pm... No sign of Ayu... 12am... no sign of Ayu... Ohhh it was getting sooooo cold!!! ... 1am... still no sign of Ayu...(Her staff sooo lied =(!!! lol) I was just so cold i couldn’t hold my phone properly haha.... Well basically after 30 more minutes Ayu’s car came! Everyone was near the side of the Hotel waiting for her to come out the car hehe... It was nice .. Banchou came out of the car first and then Ayu came out ^^... I really wish i took a photo with Banchou or even stan!! but i never got a chance to take ANY photos at all! =(... However i do have 3 Videos to show you guys.. they are all worth watching.. Please watch them! =)
In the end once everything was done... i think the most upsetting part was probaly the fact that i didnt get to take a photo with ayuuu =(!!!.... I mean i really wanted to get more group or individual photos!... But i guess.... Maybe next time... In the end she told us to "please keep warm" =) Was Very nice and shook alll of our hands with both of her hands! Gosh her hands were warm haha >.<!!

Haha... I did mention the day time photos were by Mandi Li... She took all of the day time photos... I wasn't there during the day... But she had to wait 3 hours (which isn't bad haha) to get those photos... She also had a little convosation with Ayu... And it's her first time seeing Ayu today too!!

The Video and late night photos... I manage to take them a few hours ago when I went to go see Ayu... In total I manage to meet Ayu three times... And I’m so happy and grateful that I manage to see her so many times. Also three out of three i shook her hand!!! <3!!! Haha

Shame that I never got a chance to take a individual photo with Ayu... Or more group ones... Ahh well... Maybe next time!! ^^

Ok, i'm finally going to tell you guys my version of this. I think I'll break it up in several posts, because otherwise it'll get really long. Here is part one: tuesday night (I originally wrote this part for the norwegian fan site on wednesday evening, this is a translated and slightly edited version).

Me and maxker arrived in central London around 9pm on Tuesday night, and went straight to Ayu's hotel, because it was pretty easy to find. There were a lot of people there who were all waiting for Ayu, and when they told us she wasn't back yet, we decided to find our own hotel. We got a little lost because we weren't sure where our own hotel was, it was in a small side street not far from ayu's hotel, but we didn't know which one:P Eventually, we found it, checked in and decided to go back to the Langham. Ayu still hadn't gotten back, so we decided to wait there together with everyone else.

After a while, not sure how long, but probably an hour or something, ayu came back, and signed autographs for everyone. We weren't allowed to take pics because it was getting late and she just came back from filming a pv. But at least we got to meet her^^ and everything was filmed by the camera team, so maybe we'll appear in a making of-video (hindsight-note: little did i know at that time what was gonna happen the day after!). In the end, she shook everyone's hands and said "you're so cold, please be warm", and suddenly she was gone. Everyone was really happy, and we were pretty much thinking the same thing: "OMG we just met Ayumi Hamasaki!!!" Then everyone left, and made agreements about coming back the next morning.

i got there about 8pm its was sooooo cold whilist we were waiting. i eventually went off to mcdonalds to warm up with guy called kwon. Ianieee you crazy boy i cant believe you werent cold !

I want to thank the people on the forum and those who were there on the night for their info and company. I would never have had this chance if it werent for u.
i can finally die a happy guy now... oh wait no not until i see ayu in concert!

well, the forum is always down when I try to post, so be patient, ok?
anyhow, here's part 2: wednesday morning.

On wednesday morning, I decided to wait outside the hotel until she came out, so that I could tell her about the big gift that we were going to give her. I arrived at the hotel around 10 am, and the people who were already there said she hadn't left yet. So we were all waiting, waiting and waiting during a period of time that seriously felt like forever. At around 3pm, people started getting really nervous, and worrying that she wasn't in the hotel at all, and was somewhere else. This was especially worrying since it was really cold outside, and lots of people were seriously underdressed for standing outside all day. But still, we kept on waiting.

Suddenly, around 4pm, some cars showed up, and her staff members started carrying lots of shopping bags and suitcases to the cars. Some were worried that she was gonna switch hotels or leaving London completely or something, so we understandably got a little nervous. But since they were supposed to film pv's, i guess those things were just her outfits for the shooting, and they just put it in the car to bring it wherever they were filming.

Then suddenly Ayu comes out of the hotel, walking towards the car, apparently not noticing us until someone called out her name. She instantly turned towards us and started signing stuff. I was at the back of the crowd, meaning i was the last one to talk to ayu. Suddenly when it was my turn, i was standing alone in front of ayu and stan, and i had to say something. Well, my job for the afternoon was to make sure that ayu would actually get back in the evening, and let her know about the book, so what I did was basically to tell her that we had a really big surprise gift to give her, and we wanted to give it to her when she got back, because she'd have more time then. I was a little nervous so i stumbled a bit when i was talking, but she listened really attentively, until suddenly Stan said they had to go because they were in a hurry. I also somehow managed to mentioned that i had travelled all the way from Norway to see her. She was probably impressed by that:D

I had some other stuff that I wanted to give her as well, which was from the norwegian fans. I asked Stan if i could give that to them right away. He replied "well, we could put it in the car", but i didn't want to risk those gifts getting lost or forgotten or something, so i only gave them one of those gifts. What was it? Chocolate from Norway! Me an maxker bought a box each at the airport, it was rather spontaneous, but it had norwegian flags on it, and everybody likes chocolate, right? So we labeled one box "for Ayu" and the other box "for Stan" beforehand, and Stan took them in the car with him.

As they were about to leave, with ayu already inside the car, mayumi told me she didn't get anything signed, so I said, well Stan's at the car, why don't you go ask him to fix it for you? Initially, i think he said no, because they had to leave, but I think ayu heard him or something, because he took mayumi's poster inside the car, and ayu came out with it, signed. At that point, some guy even managed to sneak over to get an individual picture with ayu. If that guy was you, please post the pic, i want to see! Then Stan promised we'd get to take more pics when they got back, got in the car, and they left. "When will you get back?", I asked. "At nine, at the earliest", Stan replied. Understatement of the year! Oh well, we'll get back to that later :P

I love to read all these stories and seeing these pictures, Ayu is too cute for words. Did any of you see her off today?

It's not really the feeling that the Japanese star Ayumi Hamasaki is standing before you... At the moment you see her you are speechless, because it's the person Ayumi standing before you. Sweet, smiling Ayu looking at you and saying 'thank you' :yes After meeting her, you start to think again and you can't believe you saw her :laugh

Such a wonderful week, it's quite bizarre to think it's over now - even moreso to think that it really happened! When I go through everyone's photos and videos, I keep thinking I should be pinching myself! XD

I only found out that Ayu was in London by stroke of luck; I was listening to Ayu last Sunday night and wondered what she was up to at the mo. So I did some Googling and eventually found out that Ayu was in London! Ayu was in the city I lived in! :O

So after initially being quite stunned I made plans to go see if I could meet her and get an autograph. I went out on Monday night, but it was much too cold and I wasn't really prepared for staying out too long in it! So I went back on Wednesday night and I was amazed at how many other people there were! I had never seen so many other Ayu fans in one place before! It was an awesome atmosphere and everyone was so great to chat to and laugh with that it made the wait in the cold slightly easier for me :) It also helped that we were allowed into The Langham for a drink and a sit down early in the evening!

I kept thinking as the night went on, "I should leave, I have work in the morning, I'll miss the tube and train home", but I stayed there because I was so sure that when Ayu did turn up, it would be all worthwhile. And it totally was! Even though it was so late (around 3:30am-ish) and she must've had a busy day, Ayu was so sweet, patient and kind! She signed my "Ayu no dejideji nikki 2000 - 2009" book, making a treasured possession even more special to me!

When it came to the group photo moment, I had my own little fanboy moment! When Stan was taking people's cameras, I held mine out but he missed it. However, when we all huddled together for the photo, Ayu noticed that I still had my camera and she actually took it from me and gave it to Stan!! That was just *so* fantastic and sweet of her! It's as though now whenever I look at my group photo, I tell myself that Ayu was responsible for it! If it wasn't for Ayu, I wouldn't have this photo!

Friday was equally fantastic! We didn't have to wait much longer for Ayu to show up and she seemed less tired as a result! We got another wonderful group photo and - as she did on Wednesday - Ayu held each of our hands for a brief moment and it made the week seem so real! Because really, for years Ayu was the last person I admired who I ever expected to meet! I never thought it would happen, and certainly never thought she'd come to London! And yet it really happened and whenever I look back on it, I smile. Ayu just seemed to have that effect on all of us. She's an absolute gem and I really hope she comes back (or at least heads somewhere in Europe again, great reason to take a holiday!! XD )

Thank you as well to everyone there on Wednesday and Friday night for being such a great bunch of people to hang out with! :) I wasn't an AHS member at the time, so I was somewhat nervous about going, but all of you were awesome - from the Amy Winehouse jokes to running down Regents Street shouting out the chorus to 'Humming' (Everybody go, everybody JUMP~!) - so thanks very much!!

At least you entered the Langham, I had to go to McDonalds or Starbucks when I wanted to go to the bathroom hahaha
I think now Langham staff will be sad not having people singing and disturbing day and night LOL

lol i remember hearing people saying they've been stealing towels from the hotel and stuffing it in their clothes and one guy loved the toilets so much he took a photo lmao XD

but dam i will miss ayu i hope she comes back again, friday was one of the best nights of my life and i will treasure that memory forever.

You guys are so lucky! My family used to live in London. We had the cutest puppy. I wish we still lived there so I could meet Ayu, but we moved back to America a few months before my mother died. My puppy died on the plane ride here. :( Did Ayu bring her dogs with her? I would go back to London to see Ayu but it brings back too many memories. I was able to get a new dog not too long ago that looks just like my old puppy. He is so cute! I took him for a walk earlier and I got 2 compliments from total strangers.

Yeah I think the fans were more calmer than you see in videos from like Hong Kong or Japan ;P haha... Maybe because we were freaking freezing! Lol.. But nah... We all learnt that it’s not cool to get so hyped up, or else it’ll most likely scare Ayu off xD…

I seem to be having more fun watching all these fan made videos over and over again than watching an Ayu concert now >.< Ahh it’s just so surreal! xD…

I asked it in my letter in the book xD I wanted to ask her in person too, but when she stands before you... you just can't say a thing other than 'thank you'! :laugh

LOL Stan did the same with us!! on Staurday when we gave him the cameras for a group pic he said: Oh, if it's not LUMIX it' snot a good camera. Or sth like this XDD

right before I shot that video Ayu shook my hand and while shaking it she grabbed it tightly and said: Ooh you're so cold!
she's like the nicest person ever and I'll Never Ever forget the day(s) she grabbed my hand ^^

and I was also surprised how calm and polite we all were and I don't think it has anything to with the cold,
cause when you see her, you'll forget all about the cold :D

I really enjoyed waiting hours and hours for Ayu, cause all the fans were just soo nice and we got along soo well,
it was like we've all known each other for many years, it was just amazing! ^^

I never though she'd come so close, although she did come to France last year after all. I wish I was in London at the time... oh well :) Maybe next time she's somewhere in Europe I will be able to see her :)

Congratulations to everyone for getting this amazing opportunity. I've been a fan of Ayumi for a very long time, I had been following her for a few years, and as much as she's not the biggest treat for me anymore, it would be amazing to be able to see her in person, as a sort of cumulation of my modest journey as a fan of her and her works.

I totally agree :D I didn't expect that Stan would be so nice, the same goes for her staff :yes Of course, others already posted that they were nice, but experience their kindness yourself is a nice feeling. I was surprised that the English of her staff was quite well too :yes We will not talk about the behaviour of her driver and the hotel staff :laugh
And I can't agree more about the fans :yes I was surprised there was such a group waiting next to the hotel Thursday :laugh I remember thinking "Oh a group waiting next to the hotel, they must be Ayu fans:)". I already knew some AHS members through facebook, but also the others were really nice and fun people to hang out with :) I really had a great time :yes

and yeah let's not talk about (some of) the Hotel staff and the driver... they're best viewed from afar :laugh

Yeah seriously, I litterally came "alone", I came with gigi, but I knew her for the first time before taking the plane!! jajajaja And also meeting all fans was great!! as you say, it was like we knew each other for years!! On saturday I went with relmy and her friend to take lunch after seeing Ayu XD And just when we were inside pizzahut we asked our names XDD it was soo LOL!! jajajaja "ooh yeah ayu was so cutee~~~ btw, what's your name?" XDDD

Lol Im sure the Langham staff's are missing us... accompanying then and putting them out their Misery, doing silly things… Singing.. dancing.. Walking around… lmao! Ahaha ohh im sure they miss us ;)

I heard a few stories about the driver being mean... But have you guys noticed... the video that just been posted... around 6:30... the driver and a ayu fan gave each other some kind of grind or "im going to hit you" look xD.... Proves I watched the video a bit too much aye? HAHAHA!

I wanted to know a little more about this driver... was he seriously that mean? >.> xD

That video really is amazing. Ayu is so nice and the way she keeps on signing all that stuff even thugh she's probably really tired! So cute.

Mmm about the driver.. the first days I think he wasn't rude with us... I remember that cronopl had a little joke with him on friday:

- when are you gonna go out.
- at eight
- sure... let's see you at eight then...

maybe we didn't asked him anything and he couldn't be rude with us..

yeah i didnt expect stan to be so nice either he was very professional about handling excited ayu fans, i also remember on friday did anyone notice a small camera crew ayu had, imagine if she was filming a making of DVD, we will be on it :)

Well, two friends went to the driver and asked if he knew when Ayu would be out. He told them to get lost. LOL, we were like "what did he say?" *waiting with hope*, the 2 fans "he told us to get lost", we (other fans) "Ohh..." xD Maybe he was frustrated because he had to wait too?!

I noticed :yes The cameraman was first filming me (or I think he was... I looked to my right and the camera was filming in my direction) and then he came to stand next to me to film Ayu signing stuff :) He also filmed when we were taking the grouppic :yes

yeah there was something going on, that's why I aimed my camera up to both of them.
I don't want to get in on that too much, cause it was a bit awkward what happened between the two of them.
There was some kind of mis(s)understanding.. not so nice of the driver ;)
And I was kinda hoping no one would notice all of that, cause the fan in question already contacted me about it before I uploaded the vid.

so please forget what happened there ;)
