Yeah bouya translates directly to "boy" but it's like calling someone "Kid" but only for males. It's the same kanji used in "akanbou" which means infant. The only time I saw it extensively used was in a book and the speaker was saying it very pretentiously.

The LQ's aren't even the full songs though, there's probably like 1-2 minutes of extra music we're not hearing for each song, and those parts (+ the higher quality) could definitely make the people not liking them warm up to them. I just hope the extra minutes I haven't heard won't make me like any of them less, lol. I doubt they will though :P

I think people should be allowed to like a preview even if it's low quality since they'll probably like the high quality version as well, but as for people who usually decide whether or not they like a song based on a LQ rip... I don't know.

Well yea, if u like preview, then its more or less for sure u will like the full real song. But im just saying to those who dont..u probably just spoiled ur own impression. That's why there are people not wanting to listen. (nah, im not some hater...coz i never really dislike something..esp music)

O BTW, I know NEXT LEVEL came out on Chaku-uta as previews..but was GUILTY like that too??..i dun remember. Because I know I was so pumped about the leaked tracks(?) which came out before the official previews. i cant remember. I know this chaku uta thing feels recent.

I only listened to like half of each preview so as not to spoil myself too much. My immediate impressions were that countdown and Lady Dynamite both sound like they aren't really going anywhere, a bit boring. But Sexy Little Things sounds awesome! I hope that the high quality makes the other two songs a lot better.

I am not really sure what to think about Sexy little things and Lady Dynamite, they sure have easily memorable melodies, Sexy little things isn't really my thing though, so I 'll just wait for the HQ song. count down seems like it's gonna be really good.

Somehow this would be one of those times that I wish Ayu wasn't doing so many genres, but concentrate on what she does the best~ however I am not gonna judge her until I hear the whole album. The vocals in count down almost sound like her usual live self ^_^ Even though I pretty much agree with the previous comments, even though I seem to prefer the two previews over SLT they do seem to be going nowhere somehow, though they didn't exactly bore me.

I remember thinking that about the LQ "identity" preview we got from NL.. it sounded like it went nowhere but then when I heard it in HQ it became one of my favorite songs and I even changed my username to it :laugh So yeah, I think you're right.

LOL, maybe so, it doesn't matter though, she had songs like that before and I either loved them or liked them, but rarely listen to them (ie LOVE:Refrain, Close to you).

Can't really get into countdwn and lady dynamite, but Sexy Little Things is pretty damn awesome IMO. Now i'm getting even more excited for the album. And i'm so damn sure that after a while I willlove EVERY song of the album.It's alwayslike that with me, not only with Ayu but with all of my fav.artists xD Album songs always take a while for me...

Reading the last 11 pages, and find out that 95% of AHSers love Slt. I hope I won't end up getting disappointed since I've high anticipation on Slt since looking at the pictures in ViVi.

It's one of those "love/hate" things. I think they're masterfully done, haha. It's always interesting to see what can be done creatively with something like hair.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say I like the previews of count down and Lady Dynamite better than Sexy Little Things.

count down sounds powerful and emotional to me, even through the really bad quality. Lady Dynamite sounds fun and the drums were a nice surprise.

I like coming on here in the morning when AHS is working, I get some nice things :D New pics of PVs and the previews of 3 other songs. I liked the sound of count down immediately, Lady Dynamite I started to like towards the end and Sexy little things I did like. I'm looking forward to hearing them in HQ.

I think nowadays people, especially in fashion industry, tend to use real hair. I believe those lip hair styles are all hair extension. If the lip hair is actually from the model, then she must have really long hair (like... hair down to the knees at least?), and not to mention the heaviness..

These are all wigs/hairpieces. Usually hair shows are the ones that actually style the client's/model's hair as opposed to using wigs, I think.

At first I was wtf? **** it's awful!

But then when it proceeded it realy started to sound good! (and really catchy) I'm glad ayu could turn a modern groovy style right!

The previews sound promising so far.

None of these songs really sound like anything else Ayu's done before.

They really sound different from her other songs.. all I can really tell you is her voice is very high pitched/cute sounding in SLT (think HONEY vocals, that's what they reminded me of)

omg, count down is a full song! I'm really liking it. The vibe reminds me of a (miss)understood/It was or Memorial Address type song, but executed in a completly different way. The jarring guitars in the chorus add such a nice touch. Do I hear DJ scratching in the song? Something I thought I'd never hear from her.

Sexy little things is nothing like I expected! I don't even know how to describe it. Its just.. different. And so good. It still has an electro vibe like I thought it would, but its not a dance song at all. Just a lot of fun. Like the "energize" or "honey" of the album. But once again, so totally different from anything else she's done. I can't imagine a PV to this song! Its going to be really interesting, really theatrical I think.

Lady Dynamite, like the PV hints, is electropop sounding with some nice guitar riffage. But it has this pop gleam over it that NEXT LEVEL's electro songs didn't have. I can't judge much else because I think this is the worst rip of the three.

I'm so totally surprised at how different her sound is from these three songs. This is a complete 180 on what I thought this album would sound like. I have no idea what to expect anymore, but I can't wait to find out. :D

Won't listen to the samples anymore, once is enough, otherwise you ruin the songs with horrible bad quality-ness.

Through the comments I've already pictured Sexy little things as a "Ladies Night~another nite~ meets Shiina Ringo" song (someone mentioned ayu sounds like shiina ringo in this song rite?). I just can't place her voice in Honey (not the song, the vocal she used) into Slt pv.

They're not LIKE GaGa. They're from the same designers and similar collections. Anyone who is remotely interested in the fashion would have heard of these names! Though admittedly, I found out about a lot from the many outfits GaGa wears, but other than that aspect of her career, I don't follow her much, haha.

These are BIG names. (Pugh, McQueen, Le Mindu) Beyonce, Kylie Minogue among a bunch of others have worn outfits from these designers too. It's not Ayu copying anyone. It's Ayu embracing the fashion world of London and wearing only the best designers.

IMO, since Ayu is choosing outfits similar to what GaGa is... it says a lot about her taste in fashion. (I'd say Ayu's taste in fashion when it comes to ACTUAL fashion and not costumes for concerts and etc. is aweeeeeeeeesssssooooooome, haha. Probably better than GaGa's!)

That video so needs sound! There doesn't seem to be much to the PV besides Ayu parading around in these designer clothes, and throwing a guitar for some reason. Hopefully makes more sense in the context of Microphone's PV.

Her styling with her face/hair is Gwenish, but the fashion is very GaGa-esque.

The Gareth Pugh collections she took pieces from were heavily worn by GaGa, the lip shapred hair pieces were used by GaGa in her Bad Romance video worn backwards, the same McQueen collection that Ayu got her black houndstooth jacket/red houndstooth dress had pieces that were worn by GaGa. It's very accurate to say that the styles are similar to GaGa's because they HAVE also, in fact, been worn by GaGa at some point. However, I don't know if this can really be called copying because this is the fashion world. People will gravitate towards something if it looks great/interesting, and it's not necessarily Ayu going around stealing ideas from GaGa as much as it is her showing how great she is at choosing interesting clothes. (EXCEPTIONS ARE HER TOUR OUTFITS WHICH ARE MEANT FOR THE STAGE)

(Oh, and I don't know if Ayu chose all of the outfits worn by models, but I guess she probably approved them or something...)

I actually think that it might have been that gaga, with her clothings/outfits, has influenced how fashion looks and are worn right now.

My impression is that ayu isn't trying to imitate gaga at all.
I think ayu is a person who is very fashion-aware, a true fashionista.
Therefore I think that the reason that some people think that the outfits of SLT are reminiscent of what gaga has worn is that gaga has influenced the fashion industry and that ayu is a very fashion aware person who follows the fashion-trends.

Needless to say, Ayu herself is also a very innovative person when it comes to fashion.:yes (Excusing myself as I think that I unintentionally might have made it sound like ayu weren't an innovative person but a person who just follow trends blindly. I'm sorry if I gave that impression.)

Interesting.. I like that. I'm loving all of the LQ songs right now. SLT is nothing like I imagined but it's amazing. I can see why it was said to be "swing". It's like 8-bit-elektro-swing :P That's probably going to be one of my faves on the album. Oh and I loved the guitar smashing part of the video :blove (and the looks on the guests' faces at that point :laugh)

I can barely hear anything from Lady Dynamite's bg music, but I love the guitar solo after the first chorus and the melody is very catchy too.

Same thing with countdown, I can't hear it well. But I get a great vibe from what I can hear.

With Lady Danymite i'm really missing the dynamite part, it's an okay song, but not really whar i expected with a title like that and PV pictures. Maybe if i hear an HQ version of it and actually see the PV that she can still wow me with it, but after hearing Sexy Little Things that seems impossible, that song totally blew me away, Also not what i expected at all, but in a good way. i can't remember Ayu ever doing anything remotley jazz related, i love it, but then i also really love jazz/swing/bigband music and electropop ^^ JazzyElectropoppin'

I wouldn't say it's like EnergizE. I mean, it's got the same game 8/16-bit/elektro thing going on like I said, but it seems much more "easy on ears" and groovy.. Not as repetitive and "hitting you on the head with a block of wood!" like EnergizE can sometimes be :laugh [though I still love it<3] It's completely a song of it's own. :) Well, you'll find out once you get your copy. :P
