It is an luckey doll thing: it is basd on an legend about an budisht who meditatie for years and lost his legs and arms and only had his torso and head.
Wenn you buy an doruma you make and wishyou colour one eye and if you wish came out you colour the other eye.
That is what i know..

From Wikipedia:

The Daruma doll (達磨, daruma?), also known as a Dharma doll, is a hollow, round, Japanese doll modeled after Bodhidharma, the founder of the Zen sect of Buddhism. These dolls, though typically red and depicting a bearded man (Dharma), vary greatly in color and design depending on region and artist. Though considered an omocha, meaning toy, Daruma has a design that is rich in symbolism and is regarded more as a talisman of good luck to the Japanese. Daruma dolls are seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck, making them a popular gift of encouragement. The doll has also been commercialized by many Buddhist temples to use alongside goal setting.
Ayu's was specially colored for Future Classics. Ayu will basically draw in another heart in her daruma's eye when the tour finishes as a symbol of her completing her goal/wish. She already filled in one eye with a heart as you can see if you look closely.

so this is more or less what the staff posted~

Finally, starts from today, Rock 'n' Roll blog ★ ☆ ★ ☆
We will watch our senior Ayumi Hamasaki from the staff's point of views.
and, the backstage's view which has not usually been seen, Dancers' and band members' non-make up faces, the introduction of tour's staffs and so on including various news which we will provide.

then for the first post of course this person ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓

(Ayu picture with the daruma)

♪ oops, this is the non-make up face from the senior which is rarely seen. Kawaii yo~
and the thing that she's holding in her hands, it's the Daruma which has much bigger size "face" than the senior! ☆ Daruma which is made and given from Imai-san is from one of the famous brand "Takasaki Daruma" and it's the only original A-Daruma.
It will protect this long-leg National Tour in 13 places and 34 shows for its success and safety. It will be watching from the corner of the make up room.

(the daruma picture at the corner)

The ribbon-cushions which are lined up in a very cute way at the back of the senior are the lovely gifts given from mama, Mika John. ♪
She's the one who has various kind of ideas to design the make up room so its view will be more interesting ☆ ↑ As expected of Mika John-san!

Finally! !
this is the picture of fans who've been so eagerly to welcome the Senior to the Saitama Super Arena and this will close our post for today.

They talked about the special site a little bit during the encore today; Ayu said that she would be writing in her TA blog as always every day, but that the special site would continue being updated daily (or after every show, I can't remember) until the last date of the tour. It will be updated by her staff or dancers (like, the entry that was just posted was written by Jin) and Ayu joked about picking the person to do the day's blogging right before she goes to wash her face and relax, and then leaving the appointed person to slave over the computer as they blog. :lol

chocopockymaster 11th April 2010 05:49 PM

Figured I'd put up a quick translation of the newest entry before I go to bed...I think Misa-chan's already in bed, since we have school tomorrow. :P

Oooh ooh aah aah!**

Oh, but no one except my son Jin can understand this orangutan language...I apologize, I apologize.

I, Jin's father, have been allowed to write today's Rock'n'Roll blog.
Please bear with me.

Now, this is the second day in Saitama with my son Jin. I think Ayu and her voice reached out to all of you. Did you have a good time??

Yes, yes,
I see, I see.
You did have fun.
Well, that's good.

This long journey has just begun.
Everyone across the country, please look forward to it.

And, I'll be showing up every so often.
When I do, I'll be relying on all of you.

http://avexnet.or.jp/ayu/blog/assets...240x180-12.jpg

Yes, yes.
I'm clinging to Kazuya, one of the dancers.

The truth is, he and I are drinking partners.
He's pretty good looking, right~?

↓Please, everyone root for Kazuya
so he doesn't lose in popularity to this guy!

http://avexnet.or.jp/ayu/blog/assets...240x180-10.jpg

Shu-chan looks like he worked hard today. (Laughs)

Oooh ooh, aah aah!**

Jin, A-Dancer

** = Denoting the noises a monkey/chimpanzee often makes...I had no idea how to else to translate those.
I wouldn't be surprised if this entry confuses people who didn't go to today's concert...basically, the entry is written from the point of view of the (stuffed) orangutan, who made his first appearance during the MC session of today's encore. He was introduced to the audience as Jin's father and voiced by both Jin and Ayu...he even helped teach the audience the RED LINE dance, and scolded Jin when he messed up and mistaught us the dance that he had choreographed himself. ;)

AyUmIXx 11th April 2010 05:55 PM

Thanks so muchhhh for the translation!!!

freedreamer 11th April 2010 06:02 PM

^HAHHA that post was cute

duque 11th April 2010 06:04 PM

thanks for the translation of the new entry!!!

I really do find it cool that they do this stuff from a dancers/staff point of view xD
