LOL yeah I think so too :roflmao

I think in some point in life when the Johnny's grow up/older , things might change as time goes by ?

5-10 years down the line , when so & so looked back on the way he used to wear during concerts , he must be thinking why on earth was I wearing this ?! :roflmao

I must admit there're quite a lot of song titles that I did not recongise from both discs

I suppose those tracks will be made available in a future 2nd album (if there will be one) :O

chibi_sunny 12th August 2010 11:43 PM

^ Oh wow!! Good news, good news :D
When was this concert tour??? (I can't keep up anymore haha)

I think the new titles I'm seeing are "Oto", "Our Future" and "To the Top"... the rest they have performed at some point or another...
Yup... there are a lot of songs pending to be on an album.

I'm not anti-Hey Say Jump or anti-Johnny's Entertainment but.. I downloaded the album and listened to it. I TRIED to like it but I can't.. I just can't. :no And what's up with Japanese boys/men acting all cute and singing in a cute-sy way?? :irked NO OFFENSE!! :)

KarenPang 16th August 2010 04:21 PM

too bad you can't see the fact that it took them 3 years to finally roll out JUMP NO.1

don't you know how hard/difficult it's to keep waiting for so long until their debut album was finally released ?

That & also , how many Johnny's out there bother to take the time/effort in trying to write some of the songs in a debut album ?

word :o

I guess you have to know more about the members before u can make that judgment.
I don't know if u r speaking about HSJ in particular or including all of Johnny's guys in general when u say that, but I sure hope HSJ sounded cutesy in their album because after all, they are kids.... very cute kids actually.
and here i always thought HSJ was trying to be all cool and stuff (MnSB and HnS, anyone?)

KarenPang 16th August 2010 05:42 PM

the average age for HSJ is really young to begin with

you can't expect them to suddenly sing about adult stuff as compared to their seniors in the talent agency , that will be growing up a bit too fast xD

anyway I don't find anything cutesy with regards to JUMP NO.1 . I have listened to them for 2 years already & I can sense how much mature/growth they have displayed from Ultra Music Power all the way to Hitomi no Screen

let alone Chinen's voice has finally broke lmao . He cannot do what he does now anymore , with regards to reaching those high notes in Dreams come true & Your Seed xD

passing such a casual comment only can make me laugh & wave it away as so like seriously

Right... that's the first thing we hear whenever they make a TV appearance :/

:yes
As much as I miss the tiny little kids they were when they debuted, they are growing up and at a good pace. That includes chinen, the cuteness mascot of the group. You can definitely see how much they've progressed if you compare the older and newer songs included in JUMP no. 1.

lol

Have you listen to these kids speak.. whether in magazines, on tv, radio, whichever... despite the cool appearance they put forth in their songs, I'm quickly reminded of how young and immature (in a good way) these kids are when they talk about their interests and daily life in general.
surely there's nothing wrong with HSJ sounding cutesy. that's the way it should be.

Bigtop 16th August 2010 07:12 PM

And ten members is quite hard to remember - just by looking the faces! I know them by name (well almost, nine but not ten yet), but not by faces...

Hey! Say! BEST
  • Daiki Arioka
  • Yuya Takaki
  • Hikaru Yaotome
  • Kota Yabu
  • Kei Inoo

Hey! Say! 7
  • Ryosuke Yamada
  • Yuuri Chinen
  • Yuto Nakajima
  • Keito Okamoto
  • Ryutaro Morimoto (I couldn't remember that -hint: Masaharu Morimoto)

visionfactory 16th August 2010 09:36 PM

I just know Yamachan, Chinen, Inoo and Yuto :P

Japanese idol-pop is generally really pop & cute. this also goes for guys as well in most cases. clean image and innocent looks are what these idols go for. they are made to be marketed to children, teens, and young women. their fanbase are girls. it's not so much a Johnny's Entertainment or Hey! Say! JUMP thing, but it's universally known. however there are idols that are more mature and appeal to everyone, women & MEN, like JE's own KinKi Kids.

i do think Hey! Say! JUMP are geared towards their own age-range. the 15-20ish range.

yeah definitely

you compare Ultra Music Power against their more grown up material like Your Seed , Mayanoka no Shadow Boy & Hitomi no Screen

such a change in terms of their vocals & also music direction too

it's funny that listening to them kinda brings out the child in me xD

I don't know if that's a good or bad thing but I'm older than all 10 in the group so X_X

LOL

I surprise myself that I can remember all the 10 members in the group & that goes for putting their face against their names too D:

I don't know how I did it but I managed to haha

AyumiBest 21st August 2010 01:20 AM

Well when they all turn 20 or something...I bet that innocence is gonna go away. :P

KarenPang 21st August 2010 03:52 AM

:roflmao

yeah you don't say

anyway , some of them are have already hit the big 2-0 so nothing will surprise me if in future you read reports about them running amok LOL

murasakinohana 21st August 2010 05:49 AM

I apologize if I've offended some ppl here but does it help if I say that I think Ryosuke Yamada is sooooo adorable?!! :D
