As was already stated, Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship (unless you were born to one Japanese parent and one parent of foreign nationality, in which case you have dual citizenship but you either have to take full Japanese citizenship or renounce it by your 20th? 21st? birthday).

Really? That's just...wrong, lol. I've got a dual citizenship. Doesn't do me much good though.
