Because if the links are really hidden in the pic, we need the original one to extract the links with ay825...
If it's not the original link it won't work.

EDIT :
The first part of HD CDL is up for download at AyuChina.

It's not re-uploaded, it's the copy/paste of the img link found in the post. Ohh I finally get it xD Had no idea >_> So yeah, this is the original pic.

She sounds the same here and on the TV version. Even if these are two different dates.

If I have to trust a live recording I will definitely trust the TV one... and these 2 vids comfort my opinion.

After watching the TV version of CDL09-10 I wasn't even sure I wanted to purchase the DVD, but after my friend assured me it was worth it I bought it, and was very happy I did.

So I think I'll wait for the DVD release before I watch any more of CDL10-11. :yes

I agree with you!!! Because of the TV version I can't watch CDL 09-10 anymore :no I remember how happy I was, when I saw that she was going to perform Momentum and Pride and then I heard her off-notes scream in Pride in TV version. It was the last straw. I decided never to watch this CDL.
After your comment I decided to give one more chance to this "distressful" CDL :yes

Then you might consider listening one more time.
One can hear difference even in the first note in Last Angel!!
It's OK here but on 31.12 it was off-key.
Well, I think I'm lucky that I sing myself and can easily notice such differences.
I'm not trying to say that many users are tone-deaf but some of you really can't hear differences, don't hear pitch correction in edited versions of the songs, etc and try to convince the guys who do hear that we're wrong. Funny situation, no offences.

I think you got me wrong. I didn't say they were exactly the same! I just said that she didn't sound great on both recordings. I also think that dvd are overly edited. (which is not really a bad thing though). I'm sure her performance on dvd will sound flawless...

Bad Wolf 7th January 2011 04:18 AM

If people are still on about Ayu not being the best singer/having the best vocals, there really is no helping them. She's never been about trained, superb vocals -- go to alan if you want that, IMO. Even in the edited DVD versions, we aren't getting 100% omg perfect flawless because hey -- it's edited.

So who cares if you're musically trained and can notice this or that flaw? You're wasting your critiques because in the end, Ayu's career was never built on the assumption she could sing well, but that she could make a living singing her heart out no matter what.

LOL I'm watching CDL and while I was reading this Ayu made a sour note in Endless Sorrow and I couldn't help but laugh. I agree though. :P

Even so, it's obvious when she doesn't hit a note during live. For example, when she did momentum last CDL, she couldn't manage the last chorus very well. The high notes were mostly out of tune. I loved that song, and I remember being slightly disappointed at how she handled that.

I am... was wonderful though, so I'm not sure why the TV version sounds so butchered. :tired

So its not true that concert-goers think vocals are good because we are too distracted by the show. Yes, the show is great, but what we're ultimately there for is to hear her live. So no matter how excited and hyper you are, it is natural to listen out for the vocals.

You missed my point. I repeat, good show distracts you from SOME flaws. I didn't even start this conversation, it was just my opinion...
Of course in general most people will hear if the vocals are bad or not.
I remeber going to Mylene Farmer show in Saint-Petersburg. The sound was REALLY lound so even her pitch seemed to sound higher that it really was. And of course I missed several off-key notes. But when I listened very clean fan recording of that show every single flaw was much more obvious even though that this show was very good vocal-wise.
That's my point!

Where was the critiques part I wonder?
Who cares? Very polite! The point of my post was to show that that recordings were from 30.12, that's it. So please behave yourself and don't make up something I didn't even have in my mind. I know what makes her a good artist too.

If I missed your point, I'm sorry.

But I still disagree. I've been trained half my life as a musician to listen out for these things, so no matter how distracting the show is/how loud the speakers get, I normally recognize it when ayu goes off-pitch.

With that, I still stick with my point that ayu's live vocals were definitely not that atrocity that was the TV version.

Neko★munication 7th January 2011 01:09 PM

Really holding out for the TV/HD version :( The Youko rip's quality is meh - for a performance or two I never mind, but I could never watch a whole concert in that quality ^^;

Here's hoping someone manages to snag it from AC or somewhere else soon! :)

SunshineSlayer 7th January 2011 02:52 PM

Just throwing this out there, but Yoyogi as a venue just has horrible sound to begin with anyways. It was never meant to hold concerts. I've been to nearly all concert venues in Tokyo and so far I would rate Yoyogi as the worst acoustics wise.

The critiques part is every post you've made in this thread since its inception.

I am behaving myself. It's not my fault you chose to take offense at what I said, especially since I wasn't bashing you for anything. All I said was it's a waste of time to get so worked up over how she sounds because we all KNOW she isn't a perfect singer. So why bother bothering?

lmao I have to say, I love your reactions to this CDL on Twitter. They crack me up.
