D: I'm more excited for Koda's set list than Ayu's.

Too bad, I usually love a-nation.

Looking forward to ANother song, because it's new, and July 1st, because I love it.

WOW WAR TONIGHT is intriguing, but that's about it.

Other than that, pretty blah.

I wonder how much the songs will change between dates.

Ugh there's so much I want to say but I'm holding myself back.

truehappiness 30th July 2011 12:53 PM

It's probably way better if you were actually there, lol.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 30th July 2011 12:56 PM

I'm just really surprised and actually happy that she is trying new things!!

She's been stuck in "ayu-mode" for years, no collabs, sticking to her classics all the time, etc. But this time... just wow.

The summer classics are obvious though, how can a-nation be without any summer classics? :)

Yoake 30th July 2011 01:00 PM

God they heard ANother song! >.< Lucky!

One time again I'm totally surprised by Ayu. I didn't think she'll sing ANother song. & she did a cover song. It would be nice to know the translation of this song. I'm sure she didn't choose that song by chance!

Can't wait to see the outfits.

edit: I just noticed! She didn't sing B&G O.O

Yeah I'm sure it is. But on paper (er,screen) it just isn't thrilling me haha.

truehappiness 30th July 2011 01:05 PM

Yeah, I think it's the lack of any showstoppers which she tends to have at least one or two of at a-nation. (ASFXX, Rule, talkin' 2 myself, Mirrorcle World, Microphone... etc.)

tokyoxjapanxfan 30th July 2011 01:08 PM

Which is why she should open with Progress, I mean seriously. Seriously. Considering Ayu does like no TV promotion anymore, this should be the time to promote the album. And while I have no idea how ANother song sounds, I doubt it's comparable to Progress, lol. :P

+1
im so so happy she's starting to do changes and unpredictable things! i would never expect this kind of a-nation, and tbh im happy with this:heart

thatstacey 30th July 2011 01:26 PM

Wow, I thought "progress" would be performed for sure. I'm really interested to hear how "ANother song" was received.

What was Naoya doing during the rest of her set? Was he singing on her solo songs? Dancing with the rest of the trope? Just chilling out?

Maybe it's because I just woke up, but I'm having trouble wrapping my brain around this.

truehappiness 30th July 2011 01:30 PM

Probably singing along with her? (lol, or maybe he was reprising his role as a former Ayu dancer during DT01?) I think it's a bit odd that he was on stage the whole time, but maybe it won't be the case for the next few shows?

Kanzaki 30th July 2011 01:37 PM

I want to hear ANother Song so bad right now :( I'm very happy that she's changing things up a bit.

Corvina 30th July 2011 01:37 PM

I hope they change it a bit in the upcoming a-nation concerts.
It's good she tries to do soemthing new, but I would prefer something new with her original stuff, performing songs she never did before, change the arrangement like in her PoM Tour, performing without her dancers... and so on. Singing a TK cover from AAA? Hm, no, thank you. Dislike Dream ON, curious about ANother Song though.
Happy about Ayu not including the float and driving around this time. Never really liked that, so thumbs up!

I also really wonder what Naoya did all the time on stage. He has to be involved somehow, cause it would be so uncomfortable to just be there. XD

c_zou1987 30th July 2011 01:41 PM

I'm seeing her in Fukuoka for the first time ever, and if that really is the full setlist I will be extremely disappointed :grumpy

maikaru 30th July 2011 01:53 PM

Wow... I HATE this setlist with a passion. I hated WOW WAR TONIGHT when it first came out, I hated when AAA covered it, and I'm going to hate this one too. WHY?? There are SOOO many better songs to cover. I'm not looking forward to the fasttalking part of this song, and do NOT tell me this is one of the songs she's been recording in the studio these past days.

These songs, sorry, are all very boring in the fact that we have seen this so many times before. And the fact that there's no boat is really disappointing, it might have saved the performances... Actually, now it's really lonely without A Song for ××

I am really praying and hoping for a complete change in setlist, and that the Urata takeover is just for this performance. I am thoroughly disappointed, which is REALLY RARE for me... :(

EDIT: And I just checked mixi, and she was holding Tohoshinki towel AGAIN... m(_ _)m And that Naoya sang MOST songs with her, except the summer medley. But I'm not sure if 100% true.

truehappiness 30th July 2011 02:00 PM

She's probably gonna be holding a towel like that until they aren't able to perform in Japan anymore, lol.

I should've guessed that Sunrise was the towel song though...

BTW, maikaru, this setlist is confirmed for sure at mixi, right? Just wanted to make sure.

Yeah it is.

And I edit my post again, but most people are saying Naoya is there for the ENTIRE set, and doesn't sing only in Summer medley part (But there's also conflicting reports if he does or doesn't sing them.) But for sure, he sings for MOST of the songs and many people are like "I wanted to see just Ayu. It doesn't say Ayumi Hamasaki feat. Urata Naoya on promotion, so..."

And then there's other people who say "If you are disappointed, you don't have to watch it. LOL"

PoetGirl 30th July 2011 02:06 PM

Im excited for ANother song actually, Im curious how it sounds, but setlist is a bit weird and I LOL at people guessing what was naoya guy doing there the whole time. LOL at chilling out!!

Earth_maiden 30th July 2011 02:07 PM

It looks interesting, I like it when Ayu branches out and tries new things. :yes

Urata might not be there for the entire tour too, we still have the August dates to go and the final show which will be recorded.

miskiq 30th July 2011 02:08 PM

why must naoya sings with ayu most of the songs...boring. he should just stick with AAA

Those reactions are pretty expected, lol. I wonder if she plans to sing with the collaboration artists from FIVE for the first few a-nation lives before branching off to do say, progress/forgiveness/other godly tracks. It'd be pretty cool if she did Why... with JUNO at some point during a-nation since they were seen in rehearsal a while back... Perhaps she plans to perform most of FIVE's tracks during the next six dates? It remains to be seeeen~
