she was the last performer for all shows except August 28, right? I think we should not worry, if it was only time :think

it would be an issue, if she wasn't the last performer for all the shows.

OyTony 29th August 2011 02:41 PM

^
It was the two last shows. Can we panic now? D: (jk)

YUKARI 29th August 2011 03:35 PM

I'm surprised they've performed at a-nation.

Mari-chan 29th August 2011 05:17 PM

Yoshiki? Is it the one from X-Japan??? Or did I mixed there something up?

Chibi-Chan 29th August 2011 05:21 PM

^yeah, X was there^^

Mari-chan 29th August 2011 05:30 PM

Oh.. I watched the Video now on Youtube, which was posted here.
I really love "Forever Love". (^.^) Such a greate song.

Earth_maiden 29th August 2011 05:39 PM

My fandom for X JAPAN far overshadows my excitement for Ayu's performance this year. If the special guests get on the DVD, I'll die of happiness. :happy1:

YUKARI 29th August 2011 05:50 PM

^ yeah, me too XD

my Japanese friends wrote me the letter like "2 your most favourite artists were on the same stage. isn't it incredible?"

yeah maaan, it's incredible ~.~

Aderianu 29th August 2011 06:08 PM

with ANother song
Forever love and Kurenai xD

SunshineSlayer 29th August 2011 06:27 PM

I could see Avex putting X-Japan last instead of Ayu. But anything other than that just doesn't make sense.

Very cool though that X, Gackt, and Ayumi all performed at the same show.

Wrong. Her whole existence in show business is based on whether people like what she's doing or not. If she'd react like you describe it (and in my opinion she luckily is not behaving the way you put it here) she would be stubborn like a little child.

She's here to please. She gets well paid for it too. If she doesn't pleases, she'd most likely disappear like other famous pop stars, that were on the top of the charts for years, did in the past.

Let's be realistic.

X was there and Avex didn't let them close instead? :(

My thoughts exactly. THAT would have been a worthy closer in place of Ayu. It makes the fact that TVXQ closed even more mind-boggling.

ExodusUK 29th August 2011 07:42 PM

X-Japan are on EMI, Avex wouldn't give top billing to their festival to a non-Avex act no matter who it is.

She can do whatever she wants about her music... You are assuming she is expecting to rock the charts forever while we have no idea of how does she see her career...

Matsutoya Yumi and tons of other popular musicians all over the world already did something similar and guided their careers by what they felt like doing...

Ayumi doesn't need more money... there's no record on the Japanese industry left for her to break... I wouldn't be surprised if FIVE was the begining of an Ayu that doesn't care about her fans or the industry or the media expectations...

---

About she not closing A-Nation... it can be a lot of different things, from fall on her prestige to schedule conflict (both hers and Tohoshinki's)

lol If that is true, she's going to be losing a ton of fans pretty soon. :innocent And Ayu has never been one to not care about her fans.

While that's all nice and true, it's her fans who got her where she is, she is able to have all the freedom because so many people liked her music at some point. And only time will tell if everything she does will do her good or not.
