It always is a pleasure reading ayu's name in any charts, but this one is mind-blowing! I'm really happy for her to have sold so many things so far. She'll stay the empress of pop forever!

Nice to see that Utada and Namie made the list as well. :)

Pretty much. Matsutoya barely releases nowdays and she doesn't sell millions, Utada is on hiatus, Matsuda barely sells 10k per release and Namie Amuro will hardly ever manage to sell 20 millions XD

Matsutoya releases an album every 2 years to get between 70k~100k sales each, but she hasn't released a single for years now. Still, not enough to oversell Ayu, just damn impressive sales for a female pop star that's around since the 70s
