I read Popteen so I know about Hikari!! But I wasn't so interested in her debut though.

I think Kyary has more appeal than her.. probably Kyary will still be really popular for quite some time.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were in the same circle of contacts. Their styles, both as models and now as singers, are too similar for them not to be!

Wonder if they were told to meet just to dissipate rumours of rivalry though. That's another, more cynical view :innocent

I think maybe the title should be changed, now every Kyary fan is gonna view her with a negative outlook before they even listen to her :laugh When really she isn't a threat to Kyary nor intends to be, infact both as models they know each other well.

I love Kyary and I like Popteen, so I fan of her as a model already. I actually saw this video the other day and liked the song, so I'm interested to see what she releases next. :) Which is kinda a surprise that I like both since I'm not into the 'cutie-high-pitched' acts usually :laugh

waah, she's nothing compared to Kyary. poor girl, she's known only as Kyary's copycat from avex. I don't like her at all, her smile is too forced.

Ah, you're probably right. Maybe a mod will change it, cutting out the Kyary comment?

I'm interested in knowing how well the single did. I'm assuming not well, since I can't find a high quality full single download anywhere.

To be perfectly honest, I don't know who's doing PVs for Kyary or generally who's managing her at Warner Japan, but Avex should be learning from them in (video) direction and art direction department. Seriously.

This thread is about Shiina Hikari, aka Pikarin. She's the one in the video in the first post. The Kyary Pamyu Pamyu reference is made because of the similarities in their image.
