Thanks!

I'm so happy because there are no english phrase in the lyrics!
(Except The Show Must Go On though...)

True, now that you mention it its true. And I m all for no English :)
What was her last album that didn t use English at all? Wasn t it GUILTY ( and FIVE)?

attractive nausea 27th March 2015 02:55 PM

^ Nah in FIVE she says "Miss you so bad" in ANother song :p
And as for Guilty i don't recall any english

Andrenekoi 27th March 2015 03:05 PM

^"Yes, still believe in love"

truehappiness 27th March 2015 03:11 PM

It may have been Memorial address.

attractive nausea 27th March 2015 03:14 PM

^ You forgot forgiveness with the "war and destruction (...)" part, hmmmm, it might be I am... then

tsumekaze_ 27th March 2015 03:33 PM

^ rainbow was her first song to use english, so yeah, it should be I am...

tenshi no hane 27th March 2015 03:45 PM

She mentioned (during the 5 city A ONE promotion) that being away from Japan made her realise how much she loves Japanese and its subtlety. That might be why she stuck to Japanese this time~

I guess I forget that part since it was never officially part of the lyrics. It was like how kanariya had the 'English' in the background.

attractive nausea 27th March 2015 10:22 PM

^ "MAKE ME CRY AGAIIIIN"
Yeah i don't blame you for that, but unlike the english parts in Kanariya she does sing the english lyrics a little bit in forgiveness, i love it :love

Some people are ashamed when ayu sings in english, i do think it's embarassing sometimes, as much as i love XOXO those lyrics are a no-no :D
But y'know, few weeks ago i was with my sister and she was making fun of me for listening to ayu (i was listening to Angel and What is forever love iirc) and she tried to repeat what she was saying in japanese "for fun", but i told her "But you know that she's singing in english there right?" and she was surprised and couldn't get that she was saying "what is forever love?" or "i wanna be an angel for you". I guess part of it is because english is not our mother tongue but still.
Moral of the story is that i no longer have to feel ashamed of her english because ppl of my entourage can't tell the difference between japanese and english anyway

^ Every time I show my fiance (who's American) a Japanese music, he can't understand when there's English in the lyrics. I think it happens mostly because he's actually not paying much attention to them, but also because artists usually put English words so randomly in their lyrics that it must be hard even for a native speaker (who doesn't listen to Asian music) to understand sometimes.
