TBH I like all her old song titles which are so special (except Diary). I even don't mind STEP you lol. I hope she could be more creative with her song title like last time.

EDIT: btw I'm not flaming them but I watched a live performance of SpeXial and they sang 3 of their songs and I think to them Sayonara is probably their greatest song even though it's not like a super stellar song :P

Definitely well done and refreshing for Ayu ( especially after Summar Diary, which is nicely done as well, but the same old same old from her).

And the full song .... I had so high hopes after the preview.
Have to say I do like it, but there isn't any progression, no built up.
Like that it sadly drags a bit, cause it's so long.
Would have been better to make it a bit shorter without any progression and real climax.
And whoever said it misses a stronger beat is right as well - could be more visible throughout the song.
But I still love the melody and it's a nice song overall!

Do people really get bothered because a certain word was used in a previous title? Try being a Kumi fan then :laugh Just in one album she had Your only one, One, One night romance, To be one, 1000 no kotoba (a stretch but still contains the number lol), plus the album title grow into one :P

I'm more annoyed though when artists use the EXACT title... For example Leona Lewis has two songs on two different albums called I Got You haha

^ I wonder how often artists get to the situation where they really want to give a song a certain title, but then realize "damn, I already used that one!" haha

^When Kuu's UNIVERSE was announced, "Comes Up" was actually titled "Believe". Problem is there is a ballad from secret with that name already, I guess she totally forgot about it :roflmao Wonder of the same thing happened to her while writing "flower" having already a song called "Hana"

Name similarities happen all the time in music. It's a bit annoying when it happens but it isn't nearly as bad as recycled melodies and lyrics. Which I've seen recently. No big deal:)

i don't really chime in on these discussions most of the time because i support ayu's releases either way. i just purchased A ONE and pre ordered sixxxxxx. i'm actually really excited for this mini album, which is nice because i wasn't really excited for A ONE except the covers. and to be honest it's not my favorite of her albums. i really only enjoy three or four songs on the album. so far the songs i have heard on sixxxxxx are really amazing.

Step by step - i like this song, its very summery and very catchy for me. not my favorite of the songs that have been released so far but i probably won't skip it on the album. as for the music video, she looked so pretty and i really loved it. it reminds me more of her older videos.

Sayonara - i wasn't sure about this one when the short version music video came out. it was a nice upbeat song but i wasn't sure about the featured band. since the full version came out it is probably my favorite song on the album! i love it, i tried to transcribe the lyrics too, something i have not done since LOVE and again were released in 2012. she looks so pretty in the music video and it is a visually stunning video but it's not my favorite of her videos.

Summer Diary - i love this song. probably my favorite of the ones released so far. she sounds amazing and i love the way it's arranged. she sounds great. i loved seeing shuya again in the music video (although he looks a little on the homeless side lol) it's a cute music video and i love the story and can't wait to see the full versions.

the only thing i am sad about with these releases (going all the way back to colours) is the cd+bluray covers always seemed to be my least favorite covers but since i no longer have a region free DVD player i am pretty much forced to buy those ones so i can watch the PVS on my television. to me it always seems like the CD+DVD's are the best covers, although colours my favorite was CD+DVD/Itunes cover. but the covers don't matter so much as the songs do and i think sixxxxxx will be a really strong release for her. Especially after the flops (my personal opinion, i do not mean to offend anyone who loved these albums) that were Koda Kumi's WALK OF MY LIFE and Namie Amuro's _genic.

as for the name similarities in the songs. ayu has been around for 17 years and has written probably close to 300 songs (im talking about released, there are probably more that have yet to see the light of day) so it's only natural that the songs may start to have similar titles.

region coding between games in Canada and the US are the same to my knowledge. so i don't see why not. BLURAYS are supposedly region free.

The 'region' for Japanese Blu-rays is the same as North America, region A. But I don't know if music Blu-rays are ever coded to those region locks.

this is a bluray region map. it shows that Japan, Canada and the US are all in the same region code. so the bluray will work!
