I need a new arrangement. Something less boring.

I am up for another A ONE.

I enjoyed A ONE but at the same time I got tired of it really quickly because this album is an overview of what she has already done in the past ... nothing was unexpected ! Now it's time to take some risk and to experiment new sounds !! I don't have big hope but I would love some japanese folk songs to fit the MADE IN TOKYO thema (if she keep this theme for her hypothetical tour) !!

She seems to be alternating between safe-playing and different albums for some time, at least to my taste, since RnRC...

RnRC - Songs with different styles
Love songs - Safe TK album
Party queen - Need I say something?
LOVE again - Typical ayu-sounding album
Colours - Very Western-driven
A ONE - Again safe album

So maaaaybe we're getting something different from A ONE? I'd love to see something more rock-driven, and by that I do not mean guitar-driven songs hahahaha Hopefully we are getting a release date soon :heart

Honestly Love songs was not that safe ! Release a full 80's/90's classical/pop inspired album in 2010 while everybody is already in EDM etc... it was quite risky because dated in an assumed way ! but yeah maybe this time she will experiment more in this album ??

That's exactly what I'm hoping for.

I hope she gets inspired by Many Classic Moments and follows this direction.

A ONE is ok and I love sixxxxxx but I'd love something like Colours or Next Level.

^ You talked about MCM and I remembered the scrapped song from RedOne we were supposed to get on sixxxxxx baaaack when it was announced and didn't even have a title. Maybe she'll bring it back for this album?

id like to have songs on the new album like out of control, missing, love song. its hard to define but let me saying it like this: "ballads" which turn into emotional upbeat sounds.

I just want this album to surprise me in a good way. Embrace your inner rocker, Ayu!

I want rock songs! Like REAL ROCK! and some badass tracks such as GAME or About You. I kinda miss the edgy chick Ayu. Although WARNING was sort of the same but it didn't do as much as some of her older tracks for me. I'm kinda sick of strings and long intros lol.

It that song really exists she better release it 'cause I'm waiting for it since it appeared on freaking generasia befor ethe release of Step by step. It was rumoured to be called "Sensation".

^ The Sensation title is made-up as far as I know, nut when they first upped a snippet of SbS on YT (audio only) they did mention the RedOne song in the description. The thing is we don't even know if she did record it, maybe she just bought a demo and was working on a translation and never even finished it. But I'd not be surprised to see the song making it to the light of day on this album or on the next year, that's pretty common for a song to be kept in a shelf for a couple of years before getting released (side eyeing LOVE again)

I don't know what to expect with this album. I wouldn't mind a Colours-esque sound but I feel like she's going to "keep it safe" again. I also hope Winter Diary doesn't make an appearance but I'm sure it will. Anyways, I'm looking forward to getting more details in the coming weeks :)

It'd be amazing if she surprises us with a collab in the album, but... that's probably not gonna happen lmao

I don't want anymore collabs or features. Ayu's features have only been artists no one knows or cares about, and then they fade into the bargain bin and the bottom of the Oricon charts immediately afterward.

I hope she works with Kazu again. We haven't had his ethereal, glittery pop on an Ayu album in over 5 years. I'd like to hear something like a cross between GUILTY and RAINBOW. But really, I just want an album with three interludes again, some structure that isnt just a bunch of songs thrown on a disc.

Ayu has never spent more than 3 months on a record, so I imagine this album will be out before the end of April. But still...

I don't think Ayu is going to do another Colours, Party Queen, or NEXT LEVEL. A ONE was about Ayu returning to herself rather than trying to escape who she is. I think this will be very similar to the sound of A ONE and sixxxxxx.

I also miss those kinds of albums that has introduction plus two more interludes or so. I need a next sister of Kaleidoscope, Never ending Drean, Labyrinth etc. I want an edgy-pop and rock album a la Rainbow, or Secret , not a block of ballads and edms :(

when was the last time Ayu worked with CMJK and HAL? Maybe Ayu can hire and reunite HAL for the next album lol Oh well, i can only wish and hope. We should tweet ayu about these since she's been getting ideas from the fans sometimes lately.

I wouldn't mind a album like RAINBOW. Some of the music styles used on that album should be used again. I really think it's one of the Ayu's best albums music wise. Also a album like (miss)understood would be pretty badass. 8D

I also wish that she'd worked with Timmy again. I think he made great music for Ayu.
